Our experience tonight was quite different than normal and not up to Chili's standards for food - but our service was top-notch and that's why I am writing this review. We stayed only because we were very, very well taken care of. Travis was a fantastic server even with all of the setbacks and issues thrown at him tonight - he immediately greeted us and promptly came back with drinks and chips and salsa, he took our orders quickly and was very attentive during the wait. Here's where it fell short (and not because of Travis) - the kids meals came out first, the kids burgers were cold, buns were very dry. Then we waited, and waited, and waited for our entree (which was just a triple dipper to share - 2 chicken crispers and mozzarella). Travis came back multiple times apologizing for the long wait, explaining there was a kitchen error, someone took the wrong food, he was flustered but stated he was doing his best to rush it along. After a very long wait, the kiddos had finished eating and we finally got to enjoy the meal. The chicken was deep fried too long, it was not juicy like normal, definitely ruined the one night we got to go out for chicken we were craving. The breaded edges were so hard I couldn't even bite through it.... In the end, Travis made sure to take care of he and comped the meals. Overall, he is the only reason we stayed to enjoy the meals because of his kindness and great level of hospitality. Kudos to him, he's an asset to your team. 2 stars overall / 5 stars for Travis! read more

The server was so sweet and helpful in getting us all our drinks and food in no time. I loved my food and my friends too we were out for my friends 21st birthday and had such a good time. The food and the service can make or break a night and our server definitely made it a wonderful time. She even brought out the ice cream cake dessert with candles. read more

Cliff was an awesome server!! He was very kind and very funny with my group of friends! 10/10 service!

Was there today and ordered the brisket Quesadillas and they were horrible. Also got the steak and it was like a smash burger patty. Very thin! Nothing like what was described on the menu. Server hardly ever came to our table. We waited and waited to even get our bill and ended up using the table check yourself out. Couldn't even get my son's food boxed to go because she never came back to our table. Very disappointing because we spent $65+ and we've always loved coming here. Also let me add I asked server for butter for my mashed potatoes and she informed me they don't have butter they use oil which was very confusing. read more

I try not to be a complainer but this restaurant was AWEFUL. I stopped in because I'd never tried Chili's before. My bf and I were coming back home from Bronner's and stopped in because a cheeseburger sounded good. We walked in and were seated right away, but after being seated it took 20 min for our waitress to even come to our table. We ordered our drinks and I ran to the restroom since we'd been driving. The bathrooms were FILTHY and gross. When we finally got our food it was very mediocre and did not live up to the "chilis hype" I've heard. Will not be returning. read more

Went there to eat. Ordered our drinks and cups came out covered in food and grease. Manager came over and stated that all of the cups were that way. I then proceeded to show her the cup and she said oh I didn't notice that. Poor management. Dirty cups. Server was awesome he even noticed the dirty cups and brought it up to manager where she began laughing. Manager is a joke and to state all cups are the at Way before even assessing the situation was very poor read more

Absolute worst service we have had ever had. Got there around 3pm and our server was Dani. Myself, my, fiancée, and our oldest go the 3 for me (all burgers) with chips & salsa as our starters and mozzarella sticks for an additional appetizer. My youngest son and daughter split a chicken finger meal. The mozzarella sticks were brought to us by someone who wasn't our waitress in less than 5 minutes which seemed odd. My fiancée ordered a margarita which she had to wait about 20 minutes to get - when our server finally showed up again and brought the drink - we asked where our chips and salsa was and she said let me go check on them- our non verbal autistic 2 year old daughter was screaming because she was so hungry because the chips and salsa had not came to us yet. Another 10 minutes go by and we finally get our chips and salsa. They arrive all smashed up and cold. This poor start to our experience is baffling as the place did not even seem that busy. We watched as the tables across from us with different servers got their chips and salsas promptly after ordering, got multiple drink refills, check ins, etc.- we got none of that. Food was ok at best. Again not a single ask for drink refills, etc. Got our bill and it was wrong - shocker! Overcharged on multiple items. Waited for about 10 minutes and Dani was nowhere to be found. My daughter was getting anxious and ready to leave at this point - so I get up to go find a manager. Magically the server appears and I sit back down. I regret not getting a manager because this was the most unenjoyable and stressful dining experience ever. Will not be returning for a long time after this. read more

Would give 0. Weight staff are crappy and I just called trying to speak to the manager telling him that I ate something unsettling and he told me that it's not possible and it's something from the day before which is BS . I'm currently very far along in my pregnancy (mind you I've not been sick this ENTIRE PREGNANCY and I know my body better than anyone) and I have never had chilies and it looked really good and I wanted to go in and try it. Even given the bad reviews, I thought Who knows I've ate at places that had basically no reviews or a couple bad ones and the food was really good so I thought I'd give it a shot. Well long story short I ate food from there and now I can't get out of the bathroom. Worst $30 of my life. I simply called trying to get a hold of a manager to tell him that I think I had something that was undercooked and he told me that it's not possible and it didn't happen from him. Honestly, this place just needs to get shut down. Guy was an absolute A-HOLE. Place was barely clean too. Especially for just opening. DONT EAT HERE GO TO LITERALLY ANY OTHER Chilis possible. read more

This is a one star that should be a zero. My husband and I are frequent usually weekly patrons. Shelby who has been there for years normally waits on us. She was off yesterday when we went in about 3 PM. The trouble started when we waited over 5 minutes for anyone to co e to the table to get a drink order. I am a rewards member so we ordered the chips and salsa with a ranch. When I say the chops were all broken more like chop dust and both the salsa and ranch had pieces of chips in their bowls. The chips were stone cold as well. We ordered the 3 for me, it was taking a long time for our salads, some other server this is now the 3rd person to come to the table brought out our burger and chic sandwich both were thrown on the plat the fries just by looking at them were not fresh and no salads. I told them to take them back. The server (who by the way looked like she had just rolled out of bed) finally came and said let me go check where your food is? I told her to charge us for the drinks we were leaving. Told her why and she never offered to get a manager. Every person that was working seemed like a new person so not sure if you have had a turn over in staff. But it was a terrible experience. We definitely will be be trying some other options and will not dine here unless Shelby is working. read more

We have taken our grandsons (ages: 20,16,16) to the Saginaw Chili's before, we like the food and service we've gotten in the past. But on 2-23-2024 we thought we'd take them to an early dinner. We got there before 4:00, but we had to wait for the 20 yrs old. He arrived and we ordered of food. Everything was good, our waiter was great, but I noticed another employee walking by several times but I dI'd not think anything of it. Until we had finished our food and just sitting there talking and drinking our sodas. When that big tall employe, he had blonde hair. Came over to our booth and his comment to us was "your still here" !!!!!!!!!!!! I thought what did this guy mean, then I see him tell another guy employee to come to our table and ask us if he could take our empty glasses. Then my oldest grandson says to me "I guess they want us to go". By this time it was a little after 5:00, didn't know we may have over stayed our welcome. We got up and I talked to our waiter and told him what this employee told us. He couldn't believe it either. I told him what he said to us was very rude. I'll point him out to you, on my way to the door I said that's him. I spoke to this rude employee all he said was that's not the way I meant it and apologized. I just told him he would never had said that to any of these other customers. I told him his apology was not accepted. I asked him if he was the Manager, he said no. I said what is your name he said Michael. I know nothing will be done about this or how he made us feel. Shame on you, just needed to let your company know. Speak to Michael so this never happens again. M.Sylvia Martinez read more

I've been ordering food to go. There is a 3 for 10 special that comes with a drink, entree, and a soup or salad. This is great price for lunch or dinner. I was given a nice amount of food. I guess Saturday is a busy day for chilis. I placed an order online. I ordered a just bacon burger, fries, and potato soup. I tried calling almost 20 times and the line was busy. The food was good my tea was watery. It was probably because the ice melted. The food was good the service could have been better. read more

Ok I know this is a chain restaurant so it's kind of weird to write a review but the staff of this Chili's is really something special. We hosted a birthday party for our friend Kyle and I cannot believe how accommodating the entire staff was. The manager let us come and set up an hour before the party started. I ordered take out. I was staying in a hotel around the corner. Food was not even warm, it was cold, there was not even steam on the lids of any of the hot food. Steak was cooked rare rather than med rare as I had ordered, crispy chicken was soggy chicken, cheese fries were a blob of mushy fries with cheese melted to the tin foil rendering them inedible. The only food item worth eating was the cheese cake on a $50+ order. The only positive thing I can say is that the server had a nice smile and was very polite. I tried to call to complain about the food, was placed on hold and hung up on 3 times in a row. I could never suggest this Chili's after that. I love most I've been too, this one just was really disappointing. We ended up ordering pizza so we had something edible to eat. read more

Chili's- Some may call it a restaurant but I call it culinary disappointment. Let's dive in with what you see when you first walk in this God awful establishment. Take one step over the threshold and you are immediately hit with a wall of air conditioning on full blast, the first thing that runs through your mind is, "Hey, it's winter, shouldn't the heat be on in here?" Funny for you to assume Chili's actually cares about the environment for their guests. The frigid temperatures doesn't even scratch the surface of why I tend to boycott Chili's. Let's talk about their horror show of a menu. When you get handed a menu at a restaurant, the last thing you want is for the menu to be sticky. That's all that the menus are at Chili's, as sticky as a child's iPad while they watch Cocomelon. When you finally find something to eat that sounds almost maybe appetizing, you sit there for barely five minutes and they already have your "food" out. In most cases, this may seem like a good thing but no full entree should be ready within 5 minutes. The kids menu has to be the biggest nightmare of the whole thing. How does what they serve not go against health codes? The kids mac and cheese resembles that of a plastic children's toy. The fries are flavorless and as stale as those Wheat Thins that have probably been rotting away in your pantry for the past 3 years. Moral of this review is that Chili's should be shut down, immediately. They have the most vile food and they religiously keep their temperatures at a consistent forty below so you feel like you're having lunch with a penguin and for this reason, I would not be caught dead eating at Chili's. -49302/10 stars. read more

Chili's is a great restaurant, the food is superb and the service is pretty good. However, I have had one of the most disheartening experiences of my life at this establishment. My friend and I ordered a cookie skillet to share during our fun night on the town, but our night soon took a turn for the worst. As our waiter approached the table with a pan in his hand, we knew our happiness was over. The cookie skillet was dry and crusty. After years of having delicious and gooey cookies, chili's has recently been serving this disgusting mess which I cannot bring myself to call food. Sincerely, disappointed customer read more

I would do illegal things for Chili's. The fresh mex bowl=fat nut. The cookie skillet=even fatter nut!

The place was nice food is good . Was busy so the moose level was high. Overall good staff were very pleasant

To be honest, my husband and I had no intention on coming to Chili's but the new restaurant next door looked to busy so we settled or so we thought we did! I have been here numerous times and in the past my experience never warranted really a good or bad review but by the time we finished our meals I laughed about why I would have considered eating at that other place! Our waiter, Dustin, was probably one of the best waiters I have ever encountered! Friday night, super busy, and this man took care of us from start to finish and didn't miss a beat!! We both ordered fajitas and really enjoyed them! I know going forward, when we stop there I will be asking for Dustin and I hope if management reviews the good yelp reviews, he seriously needs to be recognized! Your food is good but he made my night! Looking forward to my left overs tomorrow!! read more

I went to the Saginaw location today, ordered chicken fajitas and there was no tortillas, cheese, silverware, or napkins. Called a received the rudest response, "am I sure" really. Nonetheless, I will not support this restaurant chain every again. First time eating here in 5 years.....we ordered the two for $22....we both got the margarita chicken...it was ok.wish I would of got something different but just couldn't decide. Next time I wanna order the bottomless soup and salad....i like how the menu's are just at the table..i like to be able to browse while waiting for the food. I like all the choices on the kids menu...my daughter ordered pizza and corn on the cob.she really enjoyed the corn.we ordered the berry crumble cake and it was the best part of the meal.the coffee was good and strong and for a refill she brought out a whole new fresh cup I said something along the lines of "ow" and she said "yes we don't do warm ups here, we only have a Kerig that does it by cups"...doesn't seem very time efficient? (but she came back super fast with the coffee? )maybe they don't sell much coffee?maybe I don't understand kerigs?seems more efficient with pots? I don't know, but it was a good cup of Joe. Will be back to try a few more items, get that dessert again, that's for sure. Still trying to find a restaurant closer than Pontiac that really wows me in every way, this isn't it. also at first I started to worry about the service it seemed to take a bit between drinks and ordering but she showed right up and really stepped up her game (people were coming in this whole time ) I heard her tell the next table she Was just getting there. It was good, she did good as she was really getting busy and it seemed the bar section where we were seated was her section. Bathroom was clean and the bathroom doors were cool. read more

I've been to this Chili's before and I have never been satisfied. Today, my husband and I thought we would give it another chance. I know this is a franchise and the menu is controlled, but when we ordered our nachos, I expected to share them with my husband like most popular franchised family resturaunts in the area. What I did not expect was that my $12 nachos consisted of exactly 12 chips arranged in a circle around the plate soggy with bean and cheese goop. Disappointment seems to not describe my feeling when the server brought my plate. I was speechless. It felt like they were attempting to be a five-star resturaunt, you know, the ones who serve bitesize portions for $25.00 each. But this is Chili's and they totally missed their mark. The atmosphere is not five star dining, but I do expect a nacho plate to be able to satisfy me appropriately. Luckily, we had ordered another appetizer, expecting to share. We got the southwest eggrolls which consist of three eggrolls sliced in half for $9.79 with an avocado ranch sauce, all of which seemed straight off the GFS truck, but it was expected and I'm not disappointed in that. I'm am disappointed with the nachos! 12 chips does not a nacho make! Now, despite the food, the service was great, which is the only redeeming quality we experienced. Gave an extra star for that. The choice of menu is not the fault of the server, but the establishment and if it went for her, I would give only 1 star. Definitely visiting Applebee's for our next appetizer run. At least I'll know what to expect. read more
