I went to the Chili's here in Rome on a super busy weekend night and was honestly so impressed. The place was packed but the service was still exceptional and incredibly fast. I usually expect a wait when it's that crowded, but they really had it together. The food was also absolutely delicious! We got the skillet queso and I also got the triple dipper which I highly recommend. It is definitely one of my favorite spots in town when I want a solid meal without a massive wait. Service was excellent. The server was nice and made sure we were taken care of. A first time in a long time where I actually had hot food. Everything was hot even down to the condiments on the side. The burger was a little bland though and tad greasy but still good. The chicken was juicy and actually burnt my wife's hand when she took a bite in to it. I just said would you rather a piping hot sandwich or one that's been sitting for a while. The fries could have been a little bit better. It was on the cusp of being great but not quite. The lunch specials are a really good deal. For 10.99 you get a drink an entree and chips and salsa. The chips and salsa come in a big bowl and I was full after I had that and a starter. This Chili's is always consistent.. the food is always good and service even during the pandemic has been good. For some reason the other nearby locations have been horrific but this Chili's serves up food and at a 2/$25 or 3/$10 price it always comes out cheaper than competitors when we dine there. read more

I have to say this is one of my favorite restaurants ever (chili's) is! But here lately I've been having bad luck with all locations. This one was not very busy when we went in, sat down orders our food. Got our drinks....my co worker's cup had lipstick stains on it?? Really! We told the waitress about it of course she went and got us a new one. I think it was bad day to come there was only two waitress's working this day. The food was okay and I have to say they brought us some chips and dip out for our wait. So maybe what it was that just don't have the right management. I noticed a few things while we were there that was quite dirty like the glass in between the tables, they left food from other people ok tables for a long time? Just a few things I noticed. My family got a gift card and so we doordashed Chilis. Long story short we didn't get what we ordered at all and I realize the food isn't going to be hot as it should be due to the drive but it was cold. Not warm at all and we were missing items. Tried to eat what was given and was like biting into rubber chicken. I called the restaurant trying not to be upset about wasting our $50 gift and the customer service was as terrible as the food. Manager on duty was hateful, non apologetic, and condescending. We dont eat out much but when we do Chilies was one of our go to places. 4:20 Saturday afternoon, half the restaurant was empty and our party of five was told we would have to wait 15 minutes to be seated. I asked if we could just pull up another chair to a table in the bar. We were told we couldn't do that, even though we had done it many times in the past even when it was much more crowded. Any member of the staff who walked by the table and saw we needed something just stepped in and took care of it. We came in at lunch and our food came out very quickly and it was all hot. Since this is a chain restaurant I will direct this review mostly to elements specific to this location in Rome, GA. The main issue? The staff both on the waiting side and in the kitchen seem to have no firm management. This causes bad experiences to the norm and when you do get good service from start to finish it is an amazement over something that should be standard. I have been seated and never waited on for 30 minutes, every single time I order the philly steak appetizer (even when it was the newest promotion they were advertising) they always had a problem with it usually involving the cheese sauce that comes with it that always was overcooked, clumpy, had a weird taste, etc. I have been served cold food, the list goes on. Having a mixup in a chain restaurant is fairly normal, but when it is hard to pick out the decent trips you've had it is a problem and from the experiences again I think it all links back to the employees just not having to care too much which is a management issue. I applaud the employees that caused some of my good experiences like a waitress one time that noticed my wife's food was prepared poorly and she proactively fixed it for us. read more

There is no better store manager than Simeta Avery. The bartenders are fantastic, the waitstaff is fantastic, the food is always on par. The wait is never ridiculous. It's the only Chili's I will go to in the area. They are super supportive of the community. They do a lot of great work with St. Jude's and it's a clean nice place to go. read more

I visited this location from out of town and was surprised that I arrived at 7pm and finished dinner at 9:20PM. To be fair it was the weekend before XMAS, so we waited 1 hour for a table. However, once we sat the service was slow and underwhelming. We alerted the manager Josiah and he also was underwhelmed about the poor service. The three for ten is an awesome deal. However, I have always had bad experiences with curbside pickup for online orders. Every time I do this I wait at least 15 minutes past the order ready time and my food is always cold. The food is still good heated up in the microwave.
