I've been to my local Chili's is located on Boston Post Road near the Connecticut Post Mall a few times now. The food is usually pretty good. Today was no different. I ordered the big smasher burger with the 3 For Me deal which starts at 10.99. It was cooked throughly and had lots of pickles though I did give them away! For the table as the deal includes, we got chips and the dip trio which include guacamole, queso and salsa at your request. We also got the Nashville Hot Fried Mozzarella which were very good and actually had the cheese pull it's went viral for! It was clean for the most part, just a few crumbs here and there when you walked to the table. Pretty packed but it is Sunday! My only issue today was service. I've never had it happen before but I guess maybe they were short staffed? Though my server was hard to get a hold at times. I did notice it was to other tables as well. Anyways, it was a pleasure to go once again and I hope next time I won't have to wait long for my to go containers and to pay the bill. Other than that, great place to come to! I came here during a late afternoon on the weekday with my husband. We were instantly greeted and seated within a couple minutes of arriving. We ordered the southwest egg roll and honey Chipotle sizzlers for the appetizers. But appetizers were absolutely delicious. Although I wish the food came was served to us a little more fresh and warm. For our entree we ordered shrimp fajitas which was absolutely delicious and fresh. The only thing that was a tiny bit irritating was that I had to constantly ask for the sides that come with the entree itself (sour cream, cheese, etc). Overall, I was content with my experience. I hadn't had chilis in quite a while and was interested in trying it again. I was so happy to see that they have chili again! I liked it a lot and my boneless chicken tenders were pretty good as well. Our waitress was amazing, too. She was so friendly, helpful, and on top of everything. When I was half done with my club soda, she brought me a refill without even asking. When a waitress does things without even asking, that is how you know they're good. My experience was much better than I had initially expected based on my past experiences.

Our server was wonderful but they were in charge of half the restaurant. They are very understaffed. The real problem was the food. I could have eaten paper and it would have had more flavor. My burger was a hockey puck! They didn't charge me but we won't go back.

I tried this location again after a BAD take out experience. I'll say, we were pleasantly surprised. We came on a Friday night and it was pretty busy. We were seated at a table in the bar area. Our server, jennie was great. She was very friendly and attentive. She made our experience better. Chili's food is not going to blow your mind but it's good easy food that your going to like what you ordered. I always get the 3 item appetizer and pick the southwest egg rolls, sliders and wings. I got this same order as a takeout last month and it was awful. This time everything was really great. My boyfriend got the Buffalo ranch chicken sandwich and he enjoyed it with some fries. I also had the presidente margarita, very good. We could see ourselves being chili's regulars so we could try more of the menu.

There are multiple Chilis around New Haven and this one is much better than others in terms of service and wait time. Here are my + ives The menu covers everyone's needs in my family - a salmon dish which is low in calories for my diet conscious husband, multiple chicken based entries/appetizers for some others who love chicken, a few veggie options for me who is a vegetarian. I so love their molten chocolate lava cake. I like Chili's menu and the fact that they update their menu every year, adding new items. I loved the onion petal fry they added this year. I love their points reward system which keeps offering free stuffs - ives The bathroom is kind of ok and not so great. At times, the place gets so crazily crowded that we would have to wait for 1 hour to even get seated. Service is a hit or miss. Most wait staffs are very friendly where as a few are really rude.

Left this Chili's in Milford after lunch, I Had the secret burger and it was great, my granddaughter had a buffalo salad she said was great but I was wondering why my oldest granddaughter was not eating her bacon burger, she asked to take 3/4 of it home when we got home she told me to throw it out because it was hard as a rock I attempted to take a bite and it was very hard and over done. Ordered the Prime Rib Fresh Mex Bowl.. I received a Fresh Mesh Bowl.. There was no meat in the bowl. Waitress made an excuse about the cook was new.. Blah Blah Blah.. Eventually had to ask for the manager who offered to have my food remade or order something else.. My family already finished eating and ready to go by time i received my meal.. Not great food ... The order was not correct with my food or my husbands the manager came over still charged us for everything even though I got my correct order once everyone was done ... Horrible that I got my food once everyone else was done and still they didn't comp my salad. read more

Awesome place. great food. I definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone. I've been going to Chili's 20 years now and they've been pretty consistent with food and service. Everyone makes mistakes and they have as well through the years here and there and they have always been professional and efficient in correcting mistakes with a smile. read more

Did take out. And they ACTUALLY got the order correct. Loved the black beans and the steak tacos. The southwest Mac and cheese was good. The loaded spicy boneless wings were not spicy and I wasn't impressed nothing is go back for. The steak tacos were so tender and spicy and delicious. My kids love that Mac and cheese and garlic toast was soggy but they ate it. My husband loves their baby back ribs and they were spot on. read more

Very pleased with my food at Chili's. I enjoyed every single bite. I got the bacon burger. It was cooked to perfection. For the first time I had their loaded mashed potatoes and I was one hundred percent speech less with them. My food was filled absolute divine flavor. I was able to bring the wonderful tasting food hope for left overs due to their low pricing and great sizes. My waitress was very kind and outgoing she made sure my food would be cooked to perfection due to her asking questions to insure my satisfaction. I couldn't have been more pleased with my visit and absolutely recommend coming to Chili's for lunch or dinner as it has low pricing and perfect flavors. Awesome visit with Chili's. read more

We went there on May 31st (Tues. afternoon), about a dozen customers total (booths/bar). We waited right in front of the desk, walkie talkies, crayons and menus were there... but NO EMPLOYEES! We looked thru the menu, planned our choices.... STILL NO SERVICE!!! We waited almost ten minutes at the front. Two more groups came in, they waited too. We left and honestly have no reason to return. We would've liked to have tried the food... but went to Red Robin instead and had a great meal and outstanding service! I went there recently and the hamburger was a hockey puck after 45 minutes of waiting. The kitchen manager, Sharon/Shannon--whatever. She gave me an attitude and said she was really really busy. Then why come over to the table? She scared my daughter because my daughter is not accustomed to adults speaking to her daddy in a demeaning way. My daughter buried her head into my wife's side. The food is mediocre and on one occasion a few months ago my wife got a very upset stomach over their veggie burger. My complaint to the Connecticut Department of Public Health has already been lodged against this store. Their kitchen is disgusting . They did a huge remodel---but a pretty cover on a old bag of dirt does not make the dirt bad edible STAY AWAY. SAVE YOUR MONEY. Try Wood and Tap down the street. They have internal accountability--. read more

Although the wait might be over 15 minutes at time, my kids just love this place. Their Fajita Trio is excellent. We always order extra tortillas and all share. For desert you seriously cannot beat the Molten Chocolate Lava Cake! My wife will throw out any thoughts of dieting for this a dessert. read more

I'm giving them five stars simply because our waitress was absolutely amazing! She was very friendly and knowledgeable just like they should be. She had an amazing personality to go with her great service! If I had the waitress of the family of four behind us that were very quiet and well mannered they would have nothing but a negative review. The woman nicely asked that she thought she was supposed to get sauce with her steak. The waitress snarled at her and said you just have to ask for it. And grumbled as she walked away to do her job and get the sauce. Then said waitress as she ran by the table asked if everything was okay the male said yes and the waitress said good and kept on running. Mind you I have worked as a waitress and know the challenges. They were not busy at all and the family were perfectly respectable even with the treatment they received. If I return to the restaurant and I have this waitress I will get up and leave. I did notify my server of the situation and noted in the survey at the end of the night. To the waitress I had tonight kudos to you for being amazing! The Pizza my son ordered was very under-cooked, my wife's Ribeye was paper thin, over cooked, and way over seasoned. Service was so slow I just wanted to leave cash on the table and leave. I don't expect much from Chili's, and I have had a pleasant experience in the past, but that was years ago... I won't be back. read more

I was a huge chilis fan . I wanted my out of country visitor to dine at chili's and this milford location is the worst . I ordered fajita's and it was not at all sizzling hot .. Avoid at all costs!! The bar is the worst bartender service I have ever seen for a major chain restaurant. Have been there 2 different times and walked out angry both times. Waited for 15 minutes for a drink only to have the bartender ignore me as I proceeded to walk out!! AVOID!You have been warned. read more

We didn't even get the chance to eat. We called 4 times for call ahead seating, trying to make it easier on a Friday night and each time the phone system hung up on us. We decided to try and reach to-go to see if that would go through and it did. When she answered, the first thing she said can you hold a few moments. 8 minutes later we got tired of waiting and hung up. We went somewhere else. We went to this Chili's on Saturday, my husband, 2 daughters, 4 yr old son & myself. The service was horrible!! They were not busy by any means but according to the server who came 10 minutes later (after having gone to the table next to us 3-4 times) seemed to think they were. I have never been somewhere that I was actually in the process of leaving without ordering anything. Then when she finally did show and we ordered she brought everyone else's drinks but mine. We received appetizers and still no drink for me. Everyone ordered their dinner medium rare, received well done. Oh and still no drink for me. I was probably a quarter of the way done with my meal before she showed with my drink, just a soda btw. "If you need anything else let me know" Really?? Maybe if we could actually find you we might be able to do that. Never checked on us until she saw that we were paying through the little kiosk. "I know you guys had to wait and were patient but if you could select the last bubble on the survey that would be great. My hours depend on it" Are you kidding me right now?? By the last bubble you mean the first that says how bad the service actually was? Yeah I'll select that one. Never again will I go back there. I have made it a point to tell everyone I know not to go back as well. we have used the Chili's in Shelton and NEVER had a problem. Oh! and the final kicker!! Called ahead for a "FAMILY DINNER" with seating for 10. When we arrived we waited 20mins for our table. The hostess notifies us that they no longer have the table that we called ahead for. She decides to breaks us into 3 tables "Tetris" style,with a chair at the end of one of the tables. The manager comes out and tells us it's a fire hazard which was fine because we didn't arrange the seats or want to sit there. When we finally sit down it took the waitress over 40 minutes to take our order. When she finally did we waited another hour for food to arive at the table,which was completely wrong. I have never seen such disarray in a restaurant before. It was one of the worst experiences I have ever had eating out. read more

The queso is excellent, the quesidillas are just ok. I think the staff needs to be more informed though. I went with my best friend who is a vegetarian, and she asked if the black beans had any beef/chicken stock or meat. She was assured they were vegetarian. Luckily, a table next to us leaned over and told us it was not true. The woman at that table was a vegetarian, and she was told that there was beef stock in the beans by a different server. This is a problem, because vegetarians can have bad reactions if they eat meat. I don't think servers should guess, and if they really don't know they should just admit they are not sure. read more

Do not go there unless you want an immature bartender along with an incompetent manager who runs the store like a circus , bartender drops F bombs like she has a IQ of a peanut. There no respect no self worth or awareness in the store , bartender Abby thinks she the owner of the establishment when literally she gets paid 1 hr . No respect no dignity in any of Abby vocabulary or mental capacity. I wouldn't allow immature Abby work anywhere but a 3 ring circus as a monkey . read more

Take the grand kids here once a month for sliders. Wish they would leave the atmosphere and menu alone. It changes all the time! They run out of a lot of items, especially kids items. The wait when we order to-go is a little ridiculous. You have to give them an extra ten minutes over the time they say the food will be ready, because it wont be! Overall, a great place I have been coming to for a while, just wish they would stay the same, if only for a year! read more
