I haven't been to this location in years. I was in the area so we stopped in. We sat down quickly. And within a few minutes our server was taking our drink order. Then asked if we were ready to order, which we were. So he started taking our order. He was punching it in on electronica keypad, like an iPad. So before we were even done ordering our food, someone else was bringing our drinks to us. Fast! And as we walked away, someone brought out my soup! Holy cow that was fast! The meals were pretty quick as well. This is a great system! Our waiter was very nice. My only complaint was the menu was a bit different than the last time I was there. They didn't have a ton of things that interested me. So I ended up ordering an appetizer trio. Which was ok. But didn't really feel like a meal. Although it did fill me up. It's so short staffed. We went and almost every table was empty but they said there was 1 server and it would take 30 minutes to be seated. Just to get seated.. then it would take forever to get our food and order, etc! So lame. We used to love this place, it was always our go to. I guess it's time to find a new go to! I'm really glad places like this are still open. A big menu with lots of good options. The food is almost always really good too. My big issue is with the curbside. Curbside is horrible. When they arrive at your car they are really nice but they take forever to get to your car. I've had to go in and get my food a few times because I've gotten tired of waiting. Really sucks to have to walk in and see the food just laying there waiting for someone to take it to you, who knows how long it's been sitting there. They also get things wrong in your order so be sure to check before leaving. read more

Service was horrible. Never got our appetizer. Received the wrong drinks. Never got the sauce we asked for. Our waitress was in La-la land. My kid got the ribeye steak and I wouldn't even feed it to a dog it was so gross. Giving it 2 stars because 1/2 of the food was..... decent. Waitress asked if we wanted dessert. Came here with a large group on Saturday evening. The staff went out of their way to accommodate all of us and were super polite and helpful! Because of the size of the group we were spaced out for social distancing, and we had several people taking care of the whole group. Normally I like to time how long it takes between when I'm seated, and then again until I get my food. But on this occasion my table had chips and drinks so quickly that I forgot to start my timer! Went to Chili's today with some co-workers for lunch. I hadn't been to Chili's for a long time and was interested in seeing how it had changed. Inside the restaurant was much as I remember it, lots of booths and tables, a bar, and plenty of space for lots of people. The menu was much different from what I remembered, they have TONS of different food, and really try to cater to just about everyone's appetite: burgers and steaks, salads, soups, tacos, seafood, and much more! I ordered the grilled ham and swiss sandwich with fries and a cup of the chicken enchilada soup. To wash it all down I had raspberry-strawberry lemonade. When the food came it looked pretty good and I dug in. The sandwich tasted good but was awfully greasy. I think they must have really buttered the bread up before toasting because it was literally dripping oil. Despite the greasy/oilyness, it was still pretty good. The soup tasted pretty good but was really cheesy and thick, which I didn't much like. By no fault of Chili's really, I think I ordered the wrong thing. Well we tried it again. I was sent a gift card in hopes I would give Chili's another chance. This time it was just me and my 3yr old. Ordered the same thing and the food was better though they brought out my son's grilled cheese 3 minutes before I got my Chicken casadilla. Service was acceptable. Now the dirt. And I mean DIRT. The place is really dirty. Food stuck on the wall, crap on the floor, electronic boxes are filthy with grease and food, dust a quarter inch thick at the server stations, and the air intake vent was so thick with dust it looks like popcorn ceiling spray is on it. This time I called the manager and let him know that I just don't think he's getting the message. CLEAN THE PLACE UP! This location is so poorly managed. My family and I frequent this location and it really is sad to see how mismanaged it has become. The last few visits have been anything but pleasant with employees not being trained, and parties being seated so out of order that multiple customers have to question why they are being jumped in line. We truly hope something is changed soon before this mismanagement drives us, as well as other customers, to find other places to take our business. read more

Chilis is Chilis. Does anyone really review this place based on food or do they just share a good or poor experience? The food is good, the service was alright. My waiter was one of those servers that doesn't want to write down the orders, probably because he's been doing this job too long and feels pretty confident about his trade. But... He got 3 of our drinks wrong and was constantly forgetting things. Like limes, ketchup, oh and to refill the drinks. Another server and the manager helped him out. We had an 8 top table, so we were a decent sized group. Chilis isn't my favorite. Mostly because you'll stink like the food for the rest of the day. But overall it's usually a safe bet. read more

So this is chili's obviously. But my god we had a great server. Our experience was unique, as someone was arrested outside during our dinner. We were dining during cinco de Mayo, and had two really great presidente margaritas. The mango and the regular are worth trying, the strawberry tastes pretty lame. We speculated that we thought the person getting arrested was getting arrested for tax evasion, and that child protective services would take her kid; they made her remove her car seat during the arrest. We noted the windows were foggy, perhaps they were arrested for indecent exposure, or smoking crack. We were hoping it would be two dudes but it ended up being two chicks... They called for back-up... Our server didn't need any back up tonight though. He brought us boxes promptly after dinner but not too too promptly. He made sure we were both 21, which is super important because as a man of 28 I hope I can still pass as under 21. All in all the food is chili's food, and it's nothing to write home about. But if you don't try Texas cheese fries at least once in your miserable life, you're not American. We were so ecstatic to get so much food at such a reasonable price. I hope those margarita cups come with the margarita... or else I might get arrested on my way home. I shouldn't post this review. The next time I go to chili's I'm going to ask for the server I had, although I'm not sure what his name was he was a short guy who was from Miami. read more

They were good--mini burgers topped with chopped bacon, American cheese, grilled onions, pickles and ranch dressing with soft buns. Great fries, but only enough to last for one burger. Literally the worst experience at a Chili's I have yet to have. The dinner didn't start out bad, we waited about 10 minutes for our table outside due to the seating restrictions, and were happy to do so. What we weren't happy about was the hour wait for our food in which we were told about 45 minutes in that there was a "glitch in the kitchen" and our order was lost, but don't worry our food was going to be right out and they'd do something to make it right like get a free desert to the table. Well this was one of several more untruths to be told. 15 minutes later our semi-edible food came out. We did our best not to waste it as all things considered we felt just happy to be able to have a night out, however the taste was subpar. We then waited a while longer for our server to reappear from his other tables so that we could get a burger to go (I still had to take dinner home to someone) and get that "desert we were promised." The tales gets better yet! How you may ask? I see our server come out with my bacon cheeseburger on a plate (not to go!!!!) so obviously once it comes out of the kitchen in a pandemic it can't just go back and get put in a box, no it has to go get remade! Does he tell us??? NO!!!! He just boxes it up for himself to take home like we didn't see, and charges us for the cake to top it off. Here it is though. I still left a 25% tip because I at one time was a server. Honesty would've got a better tip and a return visit. I will never go back here again. I was reminded why we stopped coming here. I love their chips and salsa. I use to love their fajitas, but they have changed. The chicken was rubbery and unflavored. I wish I would have said something. Such a waist of money. The table next to use was complaining to the manager as we were walking out. My husband got the Bacon Burger, and said it just tasted like grease with hard flat wood chips. My daughter said the hamburger sliders on the kids menu was good. The quality of the food has slowly gotten worse over the years. Lots of choices and deals, but quality not as good. Had some chicken crispers, and one was still frozen in the middle. Maybe not frozen but the texture was like biting into a firm piece of plastic. My favorite things on the menu that haven't changed are the chips and salsa, and the molten ice cream. I stuck with the Chicken Crsipers (safest bet) they were hot and served with honey mustard sauce, warm soft fries(gross), and soggy corn on the cob(gross). I asked her questions about the menu and she was rude and she told the girl in training to take my order then just left her there instead of teaching her she was putting her down when she had questions. Even if it is taking her awhile to learn it's not professional to treat your trainee that way in front of customers. It took me over a half an hour to get my food and I just ordered an appetizer. Curbside service has some bugs to be worked out. Overall a pleasant experience. However check your order before you leave the parking lot. I asked for extra dressing for my salad and received a boatload of extra cheese instead. The dressing is my favorite part and they give you a very tiny amount for an entree salad. I know this is the case and therefore asked for extra. The man fulfilling orders on site was efficient and very friendly. As mentioned just make sure you check your order before you leave the parking lot as I was very disappointed not to have something I specifically asked for. Dang it Chili's in Midvale!!! We ordered curbside to-go tonight, Labor Day weekend, wanting to chill out after a long day out & about, and not have to cook. POOR CHOICE!! We got the Quesadilla Explosion Salad, Carnitas Fajitas w/guacamole, side Cesar salad, Enchilada soup, and 1/2 order of regular ribs. First off, ALL of the lettuce looked liked it's been sitting out for days, brown, wilted, gross. The carnitas and the ribs had a lot of gross fatty pieces & were rubbery. We got no side of guac which we paid for, and EVERYTHING was lukewarm like it had been sitting for quite awhile, even though we showed up about 10 minutes before we were supposed to. We waited a bit, I decided to go inside and just grab it because I still needed to pay. The ground right in front of the entrance to the curbside door was littered with cigarette butts (my guess is from an employee)when we walked inside there were 4 people waiting, and the restaurant is FILTHY!! I wish I could control+alt+delete this entire experience!!! Chili's Midvale used to be a good go to spot for fresh food & a place we could count on to be open on Sunday, but alas, no longer. We have been coming here for years and I know they just changed management and remodeled... but tonight was rough.. we waited a while which is not a problem but they closed the bar area and when asked they said "we are sending someone home sick". And the floors were covered with utensils, food and other items. It was just an unfortunate night because we love this place and hope it was just an off night but they also had a few items on the menu out of stock, and drinks took at least 10-15 minutes to come out. Also our waitress told us that she was slow and forgetful because she "had too much fun last night and never usually drinks so she shouldn't drink a lot like that".. so it was a bit off and no sense of urgency to get tables served or cleaned. read more

We went around to the takeout doors where we were greeted by some rude servers. They told us to sit down but it would be a while for food. The best experience I've had at a restraint in a long time. The waiters are very friendly and I the food was amazing! I had the famous chili's burger and my wife had the Cajun pasta, both are to die for! My drink was never empty and the waiter reacted quickly to our every need. I'm not a fan of many franchise restaurants to start. The positive about Chili's? You will get essentially the same thing, regardless of what location you're at. This place gets a one star for the following reasons: 1.) Dirty tables, plates, and more 2.) We had to wait 20 minutes (not a big deal) to be seated in the most frigid of areas. The restaurant is poorly designed and the booths by the take-out section are not blocked off at all. So, when it is say, 25 degrees outside, it is 25 degrees inside as well. We asked to be moved - and were told there was a wait. Really? Didn't we just wait? If I wanted to sit outside, there would have been no wait. Did I mention we had a small baby with us and you'd think there would be some consideration? All of the patrons around us were complaining as well. 3.) Their food is not what I would call fresh. While I do enjoy their queso, the chips weren't fried long enough. We got the lava cake (which I used to really like) and it was gross and didn't even taste like chocolate. So my husband and I came here because we live across the street. The service sucked and food was mediocre. But we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and go back. And again, the same situation. So we thought the third time was the charm. This time, we did take out. I got the appetizer triple dipper with the buffalo wings, chicken crispers and the sliders. I asked for ranch and honey mustard. We got our good and my crispers were cooked waaaay too long. My sliders buns were so burnt I had to rip off the edges and instead of the sauces I asked for I got blue cheese and ranch. At least I got my ranch right? So we will never be returning here. It was late in the evening..we drove the whole way from down south to park city and then to Midvale so we decided to have a quick dinner with some margaritas. It is a regular Chili's venue..expect regular decor and menu. We decided to go with a special deal - 2 main courses and starter to share for 20 dollars. Whenever I am around in US I expect a really good service compared to service we get here in the Netherlands but I was unpleasantly surprised with a very mediocre service. Waiter didnt pay too much attention to us and after asking him where our appetizer was he said that it was very busy in the kitchen..I understand busy...but I dont understand how 2 other couple who came later than we did, got their appetizer (same one) before us...The food was ok in the end, but there are tons of places with better service to choose from. read more
