Haven't been here in a long time! Wasn't too crowded and we were promptly greeted and seated.place is clean. I started off with the sangria-Rita. Wow first time I had this mash up and I enjoyed it. My experience was good, my waiter was great and my food was awesome except for the blaring music. The music was ridiculously loud and I could barely hear the person in front of me. I shouldn't have to repeat myself 3 times when talking all because Usher is loudly harmonizing on the speakers. The manager (im guessing) came over to our table to ask if we were okay in which i asked "could they turn the music down?". Our sever Bree, gets 10 stars!! She was the bomb. So attentive and helpful. I'm not a fan of chain restaurants, but the fries were so good. They were hot and fresh. I heard the shrimp tacos were popular, but I didn't care for them. Something was off. The shrimp were tiny. There was Pico, slaw, a slice of avocado, and Mexican cheese on the tacos. I wouldn't order them again. They have a $10 lunch special that includes an appetizer. Everyone else order the choose 3 that includes a drink, app, and entree. Whatever you do, DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE IF YOU DONT STAY DOWN THE STREET. I live in downtown Decatur and was over this way because I had to run an errand while I was working . I ordered a 3 for me and when I called the advise the soup had to have been from 3 days ago, I was told that I'd need to bring the food back in order to have them replace it. If I stayed close that'd be no problem at all except it don't and I'm not about to drive 20 minutes to bring back anything-I never asked for a refund I simply wanted what I ordered made right THE NEXT TIME I WAS OVER THAT WAY. But I'll simply stop ordering chilis all together and that will fix the issue. Never would I expect to be told as a customer that I need be further inconvenienced in order to get what I initially ordered. Let me preface this by saying that I never write reviews, even for top-notch service, but feel compelled to write a review after visiting this location today. I have lived 10 minutes from the Stonecrest/Lithonia Chili's for 34 years now. I have patronized this Chili's since it was built ages ago. Now, I have two young children who also love Chili's, so I have patronized this location even more of the past couple of years. We had been to this location about 3 weeks ago and had no problems. Even though it's a Saturday, when we walked in around 2pm the place wasn't packed. We were greeted and seated. The waitress - I did not get her name, but she has a chin-length bob with a part down the middle - comes and takes our drink orders. She brings the drinks, then gets "ghost" and takes forever to come take our order. My children ordered meals off the kid's menu. She writes our orders down as I relay them to her. I ordered the 3 for $10 deal, with chips and salsa as the appetizer. We always order chips and salsa at Chili's because it's one of our favorites. 5 minutes go by. Then 10; then 15 minutes. I tried making eye-contact with her to ask if we could get the chips and salsa. At least chips and salsa have always come out quickly but... not this time. A table of 8 comes in and I see her taking their drink order. I tell my kids "Guys, let's leave," and was going to put down $10 cash on the table for the beverages that we had. However, my kids wanted to stay, so I gave it 5 more minutes. By this time, 20 minutes have gone by. I see the manager, so I go say, "My kids and I have been waiting on our chips and salsa. It's been a while since our server came by. I don't want to get the waitress into any trouble." He was kind and said "No problem! I'll fix it. Where is your table?" I pointed and again said "Please, I am not trying to get her into trouble." He goes towards the kitchen and begins talking to another server, I guess asking her to bring us chips and salsa. Our waitress sees this and comes to our table to ask, "What's wrong?" This is the first time she'd visited our table in over 20 minutes. I was cool-headed and asked, "Yes, could we have the chips and salsa? The kids are hungry." She looked puzzled and replied, "You ordered chips and salsa?" I said "Yes, I ordered the 3 for $10." She replies "Oh," and turns to walk to the kitchen. As she walks away, she says in a LOUD voice to the other server the manager had just talked to, "You can have this table, I don't want it." With that, I promptly got up from the table and escorted my kids out to leave, into the 95+ degree heat with empty bellies. With travel time and waiting, this cost us about an hour. I decided to head to the Chili's in Conyers. We had wasted so much time and the three of us were starving. Once I got settled and where I could talk without my kids overhearing me, I called back and asked to speak with the manager. He answers and I tell him who I was. He said "Ma'am, I came back to look for you, why did you leave? I had your food." I told him what happened. He was not aware of what she had said. He was apologetic and told me that he'd pulled her from servicing any other tables because he she was "overwhelmed." Again, it was not crowded inside, but that's beside the point. I said "Sir, I understand. I used to be a server. However, there is a BIG difference in being 'overwhelmed' vs. rude." Kenny asked me to come back. I said "No, I found food for my children. On top of that, why would I come back and chance the waitress, or another server, doing something to sabotage to our food in revenge?" He understood. He shared that one of the reasons he wanted to come to that location to manage is because a few years ago, it had some of the lowest ratings among the franchise across the country. I had already known this, and still, I kept patronizing and kept tipping well. It's been frustrating seeing so many businesses in this area close and relocate to Conyers or another area. Sam's Club. Best Buy. Target. The list could go on for a mile. I always patronize in my community, but the fact of the matter is: I don't have these problems when visiting the Chili's (or other businesses) in Conyers or Snellville. It's a shame that we have to drive 20+ minutes in order to find decent service, but I must, as far as this location is concerned. I will never patronize the Stonecrest/Lithonia Chili's again. read more

I am so dissappointed that on veterans day i come to this location with my mother and waited more than 45mins to be seated and then waited 15 minutes before I asked for the manager then we still had to wait for our food and drinks. I was so annoyed that I got to alcoholic beverages to calm my nerves. I will never be visiting again and I will most definitly not come here again on veterans day. I waited then called at 855 and then they brought my food out but they said they were out of broccoli. Why didnt they just call me when they discovered that they were out of an item I ordered instead of making me wait twice! They have my phone number already because I used the curbside service! We only received one round of "bottomless" drinks, everything was freezing that came to the table, orders were taken wrong, the bathroom floor is more slippery then an ice patch, manger had a "well what do you want me to do about it?" Attitude. The manger was only willing to take 10% off at first before being told off. The picture attached are both the chicken crispers. So I finally decided to go to chili's and cheat on Applebee's. I hadn't been to chili's in years guess I was never a fan coming from Massachusetts and hating the chili's out there. When I finally decided to visit was when I first moved here about 5yrs and had the worst experience. Besides the long wait for our food at my table, and when it finally came my order was forgotten so I said "1st and the last" But since the covid hit with minimal things open my bf finally convinced me to come back and I wasn't disappointed. No wait & the food was delicious. We had went on a Wednesday evening and I have no complaints. I can't remember the name of my burger but boi it was goood. The pull pork and the spicy cheese sausage on top really was hitting the spot. My bf had no complaints with his food he enjoyed everything. I def will be back!!! read more

If I could give a zero I would. We waited 5 mins to be sat in a restaurant that wasn't busy. It took 10 mins to place an order. I asked for no condiments on my burger and it comes out with aioli. The server didn't know aioli was mayo based. The onions were old on the burger and salad...eew! The lettuce was browning. It took 25 mins for lemonade to come out and it was tart and tasted old. Servers were arguing with one another over being sat too much. The guy said my food would be remade and he would box it up. After 25 more mins and almost 2 hours of being there, I got my food for "free" per him, but there was only a burger in the box....no fries. I won't return. read more

Awful service and experience from this store. Management does not seem to care and has an attitude. On top of this I recently visited the bar and there was an obviously drunk man annoying other customers and the service workers inside. This same man inappropriately touched on workers and when management was made aware no actions were immediately taken, the man was spoken to and it took nearly 30 mins before he was kicked out. Unacceptable, I will remember this and choose to take my family to restaurants that treat their customers and workers with respect. read more

I've never been to Chili's before so when my family and I decided to grab a quick bite we chose to stop here. We had a group of 4 with an infant. We were seated promptly as the place was empty. It was a weekday in the evening time so I'm guessing that's why it was so empty unless people just don't like Chili's!? lol . The food was okay. My table enjoyed their food. My mom had a chicken salad and she was given a lot of food while my friend ordered chicken pasta and was able to finish his food twice as fast as the rest of us and no he wasn't eating fast lol. They did not give him a good amount. They also forgot to bring his drink and wound up bringing his drink with the check. Um seriously ? You minds well bring a to go cup for it too if that's the case! Oh yeah I forgot the waitress' names because two of them were serving us but they were nice girls. Overall the service was ridiculouslyyyyyy slow. It took soooo long to bring our order out; I could've went to Mexico and back! I had appetizers cause I wasn't impressed with the options on the menu. This Chili's has completely turned around for the BETTER!! I haven't been here in over 4 years, told myself I would never go back. But,a friend went and recommended it to me. Chili's Grill & Bar is a well-known spot for me to go out with friends. Its Southwestern-inspired dishes, and relaxed vibe make it a popular choice for me and my close friends to enjoy a meal. After recently dining at my local Chili's, I want to share my experience. Prescience. When I go to Chillis, I always go for Appetizers. There are many main courses, and lemonade and tea are so good. The Southwestern Eggrolls offered a delightful contrast to the other appetizers. The crunch of the eggrolls gave way to a flavorful medley of ingredients, and the avocado-ranch sauce provided an excellent and tangy counterpoint. My friends and I love this appetizer the most, but there was one time when I had to return it because it did not taste well. Now, regarding my main course, I go for the Steak Fajitas. They arrived sizzling hot on a skillet, packed with marinated steak, onions, and bell peppers. They came with tortillas, lettuce, cheese, Pico de Gallo, guacamole, and sour cream for customizing. They are so delicious, and they just hit the spot. I get it every time. No, when it comes to the drinks, they have this great lemonade and tea with a watermelon flavor, which is so tasty. When the night ends, I love to finish with a dessert, so I ordered the Molten Chocolate Cake. It was served with vanilla ice cream and chocolate sauce, making it a heavenly ending to the meal. When I visit this Chili, it is always great servers with a smile, and I love it. I rated Chillis a 4/5 because of one experience I had with a loud lady. It made me feel bad for the server, and it showed the staff how to handle these types of problems., The loud and rude lady at Chili's complained about her nasty drink. When I was in chills, my date was interrupted by this rude lady. Instead of calmly telling her server, Mark, she loudly complained about the drink. This made everyone uncomfortable. The server stayed polite and offered to get her a different drink, but Susan got even ruder, insulting him and the restaurant. Other diners started noticing the scene, and some tried to help by asking her to calm down. Others quietly told the manager about what was happening. The restaurant manager apologized to Susan, offering her a free dessert to make things right. Susan accepted, and things calmed down. This situation showed how important it is to talk politely about issues at a restaurant. It also highlighted how tough it can be for restaurant staff to handle demanding customers. The restaurant decided to use this as a lesson to improve their customer service and better train their staff for similar situations. In conclusion, Chili's Grill & Bar delivers tasty Southwestern-inspired food in a comfortable setting. The appetizer, the eggrolls, and the Steak Fajitas were a standout. The watermelon Arnold Plamer and Molten Chocolate Cake were great additions to the experience. Chili's is more than just a restaurant; it is an American institution that consistently delivers on its promise of flavorful, hearty meals in a comfortable and inviting setting. Whether celebrating a special occasion or enjoying a casual weeknight dinner, Chili's Grill & Bar remains warm and excellent for an event or date night. Chills have a 4/5 rating, and I like this place to hang out. Okay so I gave two stars bc my food was really good. However, the service here is not the best. I understand, like most places they are short staff. However, our waitress wasn't the most friendly/engaged she could've been. From the beginning she did not greet us. While taking our order another staff member came over to tell her she had a phone call. She did not say anything at all to us, we just overheard the conversation, but she walked away to go take the phone & when doing so asked the other employee to finish taking our orders, but she said she didn't know how. So our waitress walked away to take the call then came back about 5 mins later to finish taking our order. The food took a little minute to come out (including the kids meals) & a few things we ordered were wrong but corrected. Overall, I will probably just order Togo from now on. read more

In the past, service has always been slow regardless of the crowd. When we dined on a Thursday evening around 6pm, it was literally our family, 2 people at the bar, and one other table. We all sat near the bar since the main dining area appeared closed off. Not the best either kids, but it ended up working okay. The food came out in a timely manner, and the service actually pretty good compared to previous times. It did feel like our server wasn't listening as I had to repeat my order several times. We got southwestern eggrolls, shrimp tacos, kids chicken tenders with oranges, kids burgers with fries, and in just got 3 sides - corn on the cob, asparagus with tomatoes, and steamed broccoli. The southwestern eggrolls were probably the best thing. Flavorful and crispy. I didn't try the tacos, but both the kids meals were okay. The tenders were good, but the small burger patties definitely overcooked. Both my corn and broccoli were way too buttery, almost tasting like oil thrown on top. The asparagus looked very sad, and the addition of random flavorless tomatoes did not cheer up the dish. They do have a decent happy hour menu (such as the southwestern eggrolls being $6 instead of $8) with top shelf margaritas for $5 and other beer and appetizers specials. The inside was fairly bright and clean. They have a lot of parking spots, but they fill up quickly on weekends and busier days. Overall, not terrible, just wish for some more consistency. read more

Get inside, lots of empty tables, and was told by the hostess that it would be a 30 minute wait....Say What?! Why? Because they only had 2 servers, others didn't show up for work. NOw this is either poor back-up planning on the part of management (call some other folks to come in to work) or a real need to hire more (reliable and dependable) staff. By the way, we've been to this location several times before. Service has always been slow, but never experienced this. We left, did not wait. The couple who came in behind us did the same thing. Good way to lose customers..... UPDATE: Contacted by Chili's and satisfied with resolution. Will attempt another visit in the future. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. I called to place my order at 10:02pm. I knew it would take awhile so I got there at 10:32pm. I go inside and they tell me that there's no order with that name. Then they say "they sent you to the call center and just listened to you but didn't place the order". LIKE WHAT??? I then place my order which was two Orders of Cajun pasta, one with shrimp and chicken the other with just chicken. I was told it would take 15 min. At 11:07pm I FINALLY got my food. Turns out the shrimp is COLD. I then got home and opened everything and they gave me TWO CHICKEN ALFREDOS. I've never been more pissed in my life.
