As far as the food goes - it's good Chili's but not the best. If you are looking for good tasting food though you will most likely be satisfied. However this is not where the problem lies. The reason I give this restaurant two stars lies in the service. It takes FOREVER to get drinks. The bartender is always backed up. Every time I've gone the Host and Hostess are so awkward. They do not treat you like a human being and often do not greet you at the door, they just stare awkwardly and if you come at night they will stare at you and act like you should know to seat yourself without saying anything. It was actually creepy the way the boy just stared. Expect a lot of waiting and awkwardness while visiting this location. read more

I went to this location for dinner to meet up with some work colleagues and wrap up a project. Had I selected a restaurant, we probably would not have gone here, for the pure reason that there's not a lot that I actually like to eat at Chili's. The server was slow and not really on top of her game at all. The rest of my table was already seated when we arrived and had placed their orders but asked the waitress to hold off on putting them in until I arrived. I sat down and she came (about 5 minutes later) to ask me what I wanted to drink. She turned to leave when someone reminded her that she hadn't taken my order yet. I asked if they had plain quesedilla's to which she gave me a puzzled look and stated she wouldn't know how to put a quesedilla with cheese only into the system, but they have chicken or vegetable. I settled for vegetable. She came with the food and forgot to bring my silverware; which I needed since the dish came with beans and rice, not to mention the quesedilla had about every kind of vegetable they had in the back stuffed into it (broccoli? really?). Since she never came back to check up on us, I had to hunt down a different server to bring me some. Things like this kept happening throughout the meal (no refills on water, no check to see if we wanted more drinks), which is why this Chili's is a 2 star experience. read more

I am not usually a big fan of Chili's but in Linthicum, there's not much else around the hotel district. I read the previous Yelp reviews and wasn't expecting much. However, I was pleasantly surprised. I would have given 5 stars if my server actually stopped by during my meal to refill my glass. The restaurant is clean and there is a great menu selection. I ordered a house salad and the tripple dipper (3 appetizers). It was a great choice since I couldn't decide what I wanted. We are greeted immediately, then sat. The waitress is decent at best. I order my steak medium well and it comes back bone dry! Saw dust came off of it when I tried to cut into it. I sent it back, and then it came out medium rare. This place but a bad taste in my mouth. The food was good, my business colleague and I had a couple of their new feature items, prime rib burrito & prime rib fajitas. The service was decent, our waitress kept up with our table. When our check came, we had a concern with the fact that the drinks we ordered two double (2 shots) Arnold Palmer's (RIP) with the shots on the side, non-top shelf were showing up on our bill as two arnold palmer's at $2.79 ea. plus 4 shots at $8.50 ea, for a total of nearly $40.00. Keep in mind, we are at a Chili's on a Monday night near hotels and other businesses, vs. at a sporting event or music concert. When the manager arrived at our table I explained my concern over the elevated prices of the liquor. He stated that there was nothing he could do since we drank the beverages we had to pay. He said if there was something wrong, then he could have done something so I told him that we ordered the shots on the side and the drinks came out already mixed. So we had no way of knowing if they actually gave us the doubles or not. We spent about 10-min discussing this matter and essentially the only thing he would 'do' for us was take off the iced teas, which shouldn't have been on there in the first place. Toward the end of our interlude I even explained to him that I did not accept his offer and that if he wasn't not willing to work with me, I would be leaving without paying the bill at all. He didn't budge, so we left. I handed some cash to the hostess to give to our waitress as a tip and took the bill with me. I plan to reach out to Chili's corporate and offer to pay for the food and inform them of the events that took place. I had been to this location a previous time for lunch, but I really wasn't motivated to give a review based on it being an OK experience. Well, I went again, and it was OK experience again. This time, I'll write about it. I went to Chili's with a group of people for lunch. We sat at the bar to sit closer to the big screen TVs and to sit more comfortably. Our server, or bartender, was delightful in serving the group. She was happy to see us and made sure that we were getting what we asked. That was until, it got quite busy. You see, it was Friday. Not just any Friday, it was Friday where the temperature finally got above 50 degrees for the first time in 2 months. Guess what that means? People are coming out from seasonal hibernation...in bunches. That means more business and slower service unfortunately. It took about 20 minutes from the time our group ordered to get our food. Not too bad I guess. I ordered the $7 combo which included the Bacon Ranch Quesadilla, a side of french fries, and Chicken Noodle Soup. The soup was OK, nothing great. The fries were good, and the quesadilla was good. I will admit though, the quesadilla was pretty small. I finished the thing in four bites. Our server did a good job considering the fact she was making drinks and obviously serving people at the bar, which was filling up fast. I can tell she was getting flustered as the day went on, though. The food was decent for lunch. All in all, this Chili's location is a decent place for lunch. I give this restaurant 3 stars for average because our service was poor. I'd say the food was fine and reasonably priced. A lady and young boy were seated in front of us about 230 on a Monday. They had eaten and were leaving and we still didn't have our food. We ordered the double cheese burger lunch special, which comes with soup or salad and fries; a grilled chicken breast and mandarin oranges from the children's menu; and a chicken buffalo sandwich which comes with fries. Our total bill was about $26.00. Our waitress spent a lot of time at a table next to us with two young men. They appeared to know each other and be making plans for that evening. She never refilled our drinks. We paid with the kiosk on the table because she never came back. I guess the kiosk is to order dessert and pay so the wait staff doesn't have to actual wait on you. I'm not sure why, but the hostess took a shine to us and wondered over to talk, talk and talk... considering we were dog tired, half sick and just exhausted... we would have preferred to just receive our food, eat and leave. Someone make the neverending salsa bowls stop. The only thing our waiter got out in a timely manner were these gigantic bowls of chips and salsa, which after the third round, started to get a bit old. I never wanted to see tomatoes or corn ever again. It took about 50 minutes for our food to get out. The conversation at our table started out quite enthusiastically, but gradually tapered off as we began sizing up our tablemates and wondering how easy it would be to knock them out and steal their food if their order so happened to come out first. Add to this a confused waitress that ran around our table like a headless chicken yelling out "ICED TEA? WHO ORDERED ICED TEA? ICED TEA? ICED TEA? ICED TEA?" while ignoring the kid that was desperately shouting at her that he was the dehydrated one that had been waiting for anything to eat/drink other than salt and salsa. The food was pretty good, maybe even on a 4 star level. I ordered the chicken bacon sandwich on a pretzel roll, which was quite tasty. But at the end of the day, they might as well make this place a self-serve since the service leaves quite a lot to be desired. read more

Went there on a couples date and me and my wife order an appetizer of loaded fries and they looked and tasted like they were from days ago so we sent them back to be remade so our food finally came out and my wife asked for her burger well done and it came out still bloody....so she ended up only eating her fries...and the couple we were with didn't enjoy there food...seems like I was the only one who's meal didn't have any problems....so an hour goes by and at this point the other couple and I are requesting checks and to go boxes and drinks (of course my wife isn't taking her horrible burger with her) and our appetizer still hasn't come out yet...wtf...so finally we tell them and they realize that it had been done and brought and it looked even worse then it did the first time and it was cold....so at this point I'm requesting to have my wife's meal and that appetizer taken off my bill because it was horrible....so as we are leaving (the same way we came in)...there is a mouse within an inch of death struggling to live right in front of the door and staff have walked past it and it's not like you can miss it because you have to literally go around it to get through the door and no one gets rid of it...never again will we be dinning there. read more

I have been to this location probably 4 or 5 times and I have never once gotten timely service. The food is like your average chilis food, the servers are usually really nice, but DAMN! Last time i was here I ordered soup and salad at the bar and it took an hour and a half! Ill give it to them that it was a Friday, but thats still insane. I ordered a kids meal to go and on top of being completely ignored for about 10 mins at the togo counter and it took 45 mins to get out. read more
