The Food Was Great But The Service Was Amazing .. Worth The Wait On A Busy Saturday Evening

This kinda hit. I'm not gonna lie. I hadn't been to a Chili's since I was a lurchy teenager, but without a ton of options around The Legends, we found ourselves here decades later. The kids liked their meals, for the most part, and there are good options; mac & cheese, chicken, alfredo pasta, sliders. We also started with their triple dip app; salsa, guac, queso. All tasted good, with the guac being the best thing. The queso had good flavor but was really runny. I wanted to play it somewhat healthy, so we did a fajitas for two meal that had grilled chicken and shrimp. While light on the fajita veggies, it all tasted good. To counter balance the healthy approach, we also ordered spicy margaritas which were very welcome as we were surviving a weekend at Great Wolf Lodge. I was disappointed with the shrinkflation of these; tiny cups, high price tag, barely a whiff of tequila. Aw well. But hey, for a generic chain spot, this place was popping. The service was nice, and we had a good time. It might just sneak its way back into the rotation next time we do the winter time Great Wolf Lodge trip. read more

Just eat there this afternoon. The food was great as usual. The waitress Jessica was wonderful. Fast prompt service. Checked back several times to see if we needed anything. Very friendly. Had the Bacon Ranch Chicken Quesadilla. It was the best. Also the Queso, perfect. Was quiet for as many people that were there. I guess everyone was busy eating. read more

My family went to enjoy lunch today. Jessica was okay, but the food was awful! I had the trio with Nashville hot chicken stripsand wing, along with southwest eggs rolls. My son and his friend got the Nashville hot chicken strips. I was so much seasoning on it we could eat them. it looked as if someone just dumped a hand full of season on each plate. when I brought it to Jessica's attention she Say" Yea it all always a lot on it so it makes it gritty. Their burgers here are very tasty and juicy. My fries could have been warmer. The chips and salsa dip is very addictive. The southwestern queso cheese dip is amazing. The dining area inside was very clean today. Service was also great, our waiter checked on us numerous times and got us what we asked for. read more

Very good portion and kind service , server and customer service are very polite to us , menu and drinks are very extensive in this way we found many options to choose to make our dinner complete the ambiance and music level are perfectly reasonable to speak between the company on the table , employees staff are also very friendly to customers and any of them help us. My friend and I came to this location really excited because we normally LOVE chilis. We had a good and attentive server. We both ordered triple dippers which is what we usually get. Mine came out with onions on it when I asked for plain, which I'm very allergic. The server took my triple dipper back to the kitchen and brought it back which it was very obvious they just wiped the onions off because there were onions on the rest of my food and the paper. Both of our big mouth bites (tiny burgers) were VERY raw and undercooked. My honey chipotle chicken crispers were completely cold. My friend bit into her big mouth bites and hers were completely raw as well. The server took my triple dipper back to the kitchen for the second time then brought the same one back again. The same chicken was still on the platter. The manager came over and was rude and dismissive and all she said was "we're just getting you guys new burgers made" then walked away. I made it very clear I'm pregnant and CANNOT have ANY raw meat. The server brought out two new plates of four big mouth bites each and asked us to bite into them. We used a knife to cut them open just to see all four new ones were also completely raw. The manager came back over and said "sorry. I wouldn't want to eat those either. We have someone new as a cook in the kitchen." Then walked away. Our appetites were completely ruined. She came back and said she gave us an employee discount and we paid and left. Took us awhile to be seated. We were told it would be a 10 to 15 minute wait but we weren't seated till an hour later. The server was really nice tho and the food was good. Just wished they opened up more tables for customers to be seated cause there were plenty of tables open. read more

I walked in today to pick up an order that I had called in, and one of the employees came to the register to help another employee with ringing up my order. That employee who came to help went to the register, drinking a beer from the can. He tried to move in a way to hide the beer, but I had already seen it. I frequent this Chili's regularly, and I was shocked. When are employees allowed to walk around drinking a beer? That is so tacky!! read more

Pleasant surprise. Chilis is still Chili's but not eating here for so long brought back real memories. Definitely 90's flash back. Food is what it is but surprisingly wings were on point. Plus the host was really good. Seated us right away. Not a bad spot either. mediocre updates but nice spot none the less. Great spot for a side chick or out with the kids. Would recommend. We ordered a salad and some chicken strips. See the photos. The order came out fast and correct. Water glasses were kept full. No issues at all during this visit. The four stars instead of five is because of a long wait to get a to-go box. Shouldn't take so long. It's just a box. read more

I ordered a carry out order online and when I arrived my rewards was not working so Lacy and Mindy helped by adjusting my bill with no added stress. Upon heading to the car they offered to bring out my items which I declined because I was sure I could do it. Our food was perfect it was fresh and well packaged. I didn't need any extra sauces nor were there any mistakes. It's sometimes hard ordering carry out because you don't want a mistake once you get home but everything was absolutely perfect! Very disappointed haven't been to a chili's in a while. Needs to be cleaner Waitstaff has poor customer service Our waitress took our cash and said thanks come again and didn't bring the change back. I can't stand that. $6 dollar tip on $30 dollar dinner I would have left $10 but she messed that up. The service sucked but she did her job so I believe she should get a god tip. I feel like family here. I always get a table in the bar area right away, and if they are busy, then we sit at the bar itself. Sam m, one of the weekend bartenders, is always so sweet and kind. She knows exactly what we want for drinks and appetizers. Dre is also an amazing bartender and server during the weekday. If they miss something such as a side of ranch or whatever, it is immediately retrieved and at my table in no time. This location has been through several managers over the years, so don't hold old reviews against them. Try it for yourself. The bar is where I always sit because the staff is great! We had a big group but were divided into 4 tables. It was a little busy day so our waitress did come by for awhile. I think our table was one of the first ones out of the 4 that got to order first. I ordered the Shiner Bock BBQ Burger ($7.99) and a soda ($2.29). We also got free chips and salsa which was okay. It took a very long time for our food to come out. The other 3 tables of our group all got their food before we got ours. By the time we got our food, the other tables were almost done eating their food. My Shiner Bock BBQ Burger was alright and pretty much what I expected. The amount of fries they gave me was so little. I didn't want to complain about it since we were all needing to be somewhere later. After we got our checks, it took awhile after we got our checks/change back. The food was okay but the service could have been better. If the wait times weren't as long, then I would have given a higher rating. read more

Today was the first time I have ever had a good experience at this Chili's. I usually drive past this location to go to the Shawnee location because it is always excellent. We were pressed for time today so, against my better judgement, we stopped at the Legends location. The service was perfection. We were seated immediately, our order was taken in a timely fashion. Our food was delivered fresh and hot. Everything was delicious. Our server checked on us several times and brought refills. I'm not sure what has changed but wow! When you enter the front doors, do not expect them to greet you. My family and I were ignored for a few minutes while the hostess was on her phone. Then she looked up and told us there would be a 20 minute wait, meanwhile the restaurant is more than half empty. Only a handful of people were there dining and the servers were lazily walking around not looking overwhelmed. Horrible customer service. We were the only ones waiting and it was two adults and a fussy child.. Why would you not seat us and at least get our child a drink and something to keep him busy. If I could give this location a no star review I would! We ordered and our food took over an hour, the food was inedible, at least the food we did receive. We ordered a burger and they packed it without a bun? And the quesadilla was missing completely. I tried calling to let them know what was going on as soon as we got the order and NO ANSWER! I had to wait till the next day to come in and show them in person the issue. I saved everything we ate nothing! And they still did NOT handle the issue. Which is ridiculous. If you spend your money somewhere for a product you should receive that product otherwise it's theft even if it's something as minute as food. The manager was rude and disappeared to the back of the house for over 30 minutes with the bag of food they gave to me. And no resolution. I will be fighting this purchase and I do NOT recommend coming here. Came here on a Saturday for lunch while in KCK for a soccer tournament. It's a nice restaurant, clean with updated decor. I was surprised that they weren't busy while the other restaurants were packed. I soon found out why. Our server was nice and seemed attentive, but when our food came out- it was inedible due to the amount of salt on it. We were sat near the entrance to the kitchen and strangely enough, the manager and an employee literally hung around and lounged at the wall separating the dining room from the kitchen. The worker was basically laying on the wall, not a care in the world. For a service related business, this level of unprofessionalism was out of place. I hope they can find a way to drive business in this location. However, I doubt I will ever come to this location again. read more

The location is nice, next to the speedway. I actually found it hard to find, it sits back behind Longstar. We were there on a Friday night, 5:15. There was no wait. We were promptly seated. The menu is typical Chile's, and I had forgotten about the 2 for $20, which is right in my price range. I was there with my 22 year old son. The waiter brings our menus and asks, "How are you tonight ladies." ...I think we both had a long pause, and I couldn't decide what to order. Nothing was told to us about the specials, yet I heard the other waitress upsell the 2 for 20 special to the next table. The waiter then came back to our table and apologized for saying that my son (in a skateboard t-shirt and skater shorts), was a lady. I'm sure it was out of habit, but whatever. We found the 2 for $20. I thought the whole ordering process was sloppy. The food was good, no complaints.I kind of wish I ordered the crispy chicken, but the quasedillas were good,and I have extras for tomorrow. Came in for lunch at about 1:30 on a Sunday. It was busy, but there were some open spots at the bar. Ordered the Caribbean Salad. Looks better on the menu, but it still tasted pretty good. I recently ordered for delivery and was both surprised and disappointed. I ordered a full rack of sauced ribs. I was expecting 12 ribs and received only 8. The sauce was ok, not too sweet and a bit tangy. I also ordered the smokehouse combo and was pleasantly surprised at the jalapeno, cheese smoked sausage, YUM.. The brisket was scant and dry, dry, dry. The chicken breast was tender and juicy, but way heavy on the cheese. Not a good experience. read more
