Well momma said if u can't say something nice don't say anything at all. But I'm still going to say what I want. First of all I walk in and the restaurant is filthy. That alone should of been the sign to get out but I was with another couple and didn't want to be rude. The strawberry lemonade I ordered was so watered down I couldn't taste the lemonade. I got mango ice tea and it was better. We ordered Texas cheese fries which were descent I mean u really can't mess up cheese fries. I ordered the steak with Mac and cheese and loaded mashed potatoes and I was so disappointed. It was less than mediocre. I had lunch here today with a couple of friends from work. I am typically not a fan of Chili's and this one is no different. The service was good, but the food and cleanliness was bad. Lunch started with the spoon in my tea having some food still stuck on it. It continued with the tacos which came out cold and very dry. The beans and rice were also cold and quite bland. The manager did come over to apologize and offer to replace them, but we were in a hurry. He took the meal off the check, but the damage was done. Too many choices of restaurants in the area for me to give them another shot. read more

I have been to several "Chili's" and this is by far the worst experience I have ever encountered. First and foremost, I have never had a bad experience, this place was so bad that it really almost makes me not want to visit this chain establishment again. We waited 30 minutes, before our waitress (Raquel) came to wait on us and ask us for our drinks. Then another 30 minutes before our food order was taken and another hour before the food arrived. I was annoyed with the wait time, I asked to get my order to go. The waitress then leaves and takes 20 mins, and brings the food in a box no condiments, no bag, and then goes on to say that she dropped the lettuce on the floor that was in a small serving container and asked if we wanted to place that in the box with our food. I had a blank stare on my face, because I couldn't believe what she just said. It took the world for me not to go left on her a%^. I asked to speak to a manager, but I could hear him screaming at the cooks in the kitchen and I didn't want to wait another 30mins to an hr to speak to someone, so we just left. The only decent person that act like they understood our frustration was another waiter named Terry. He saw how we were being treated, and I think if he was our waiter, he would have taken better care of us, but you could tell this guy was already overwhelmed with handling multiple tables. They should promote this guy to manager, he was busting his tail off and he apologized for the experience we had as we were leaving. read more

We normally go to the chilis off 290 near mangum. but it was shut down. obviously we haven't been there in quite some time. but we ended up going to the chilis off 290 and hollister. my kids love it there! same food. my baby adam is 2 and he loves their queso and chips. or maybe he just wants to eat like us. but either way he ate everything we put in his face except the corndog. first time i tried the chipole shrimp. it was good. we will definitely come back. kids love it! read more

Horrible!!! I walked in and the first thing I was told is we have a 30 minute wait! What happened to hello welcome to Chili's ? I decided to wait after 30 minutes we got our table then it took the waitress 30 minutes to ask for our drinks I had to ask who our waitress was another table had the same issue the table besides me left. After that not so well start I had to wait about 30-40 minutes to get my food at this point I have already waited an hour and a half or two just to get my food not worth it at all. Not sure of the young ladies name but she was young Mexican chic with long black hair , maybe a lead of some sort . She was very rude when approaching my bf & I to take our order . We simply asked after ordering if the food could be brought out as it was ready and she had a very nasty attitude and looked at us as if we were crazy for asking for such a thing , she began to get loud and walked away . The bartender was very rude. I simply asked her to whip the Table top because it was extremely sticky. She took her time, and processed to mix my drink. Two other customers that order the same thing with me at the same time noticed that she fixed my drink extremely lower than theirs. I love Chili's in general and it saddens me when one location always seems to have issues. This location has possibly the worst service of any Chili's I've ever eaten at (including international locations in the ME). The food quality has always been excellent, but service has lacked. Examples of the last few visits over a 6-month period: 15 minutes to get my "party of two" seated with one midsize group in front of us. The maître d' just took off to bus the table and move tables around. No busboy to be seen. She ended up having 5 couples waiting for seats that were available...during lunch hour. I keep ordering the new specialty burgers that are supposed to have a specific sauce on them as well as some one the side (this is printed in the menu). I've gotten a dry burger 3 out of 5 tries. Drink refill? Hope you're not in a hurry. Average wait from bone-empty glass to a refill arriving on the table has been 20 minutes on my last 5 visits. One might wonder why I keep going back. I guess I'm like a lovelorn ex who keeps hoping they'll change. It's also one of the few sit-down options in the Greenspoint area. read more

Well we got there and sat down waited like 15 minutes before we even got to order our drinks. Then we waited another 15 minutes to get the drinks and he just waslked aeay and didnt take our food order. Afrer waiting a while we were getting pretty angry so we asked another waiter to take our order which surprise surprise took a long time to come out as well. This is the second time I have come in for lunch and waited over 45 minutes for service. Today was different, I waited an hour for a salad with honey chipotle crispers. The server told me that my ticket would be discounted for my wait but this didn't happen. The manager came by and comped the person with me but my meal was full price. I was the one who question where my salad was and why was taking over 30+ minutes to make. Needless to say I WILL not be returning and think they need a new manager. He made sure his "homies" food next to us arrived piping out and within 2 mins after arrival. I cannot imagine worse customer service at a restaurant bar. 2 bar tenders and 9 patrons at the bar. 10 minutes without a drink order taken by the bartenders. Then the drink was empty for 20 minutes without a drink order taken to refill. Obviously the food took quite a while too. With so many empty tables and empty seats, maybe it would make sense to really try to keep the customers when it is empty on a Friday night. Good luck maintaining a business! read more

I love to eat at chilli's but only the ones @ 290. This chilli is always packed during the weekends. I give them props for trying hard to help everyone when it gets full, but when that happens you can tell that the arguing begins within its staff. I will not visit this location again. We waited 15 minutes just for a server to ask for our drink order. The server was very slow and there were almost no other customers. We ordered two margaritas and two glasses of water. The water didn't even come until we were halfway through our dinner. The food was terrible. It's hard to mess up nachos, but they were so bad I couldn't even eat most of them. The tortilla chips tasted stale and the ground beef looked like dog food. Its official!!!!.... NO MORE CHILI'S FOR ME!... every location I've visited recently seem to have fallen off the map. I visited this location yesterday with my co worker and the only thing we could compliment the establishment on was the quick seating. After that all hell broke loss. Our waiter seemed as if she didnt want to serve us or she just didnt want to be at work. I ordered the mango tea and a glass of water....which the tea taste YUCK-ISH!.. we ordered a starter my fav, spinach and artichoke dip... my lunch selecetion was the bacon alvacado chicken sandwich. ..and it came with a small potato soup. .. soup was good but our spinach dip was soooo freaking greasy! I started to think someone purposely poured cisco oil heavy in that dip...it was just that much!.. I was curious to see why so greasy and noticed that dip was ice cold. Waiter never once came and ask "how are u guys doing"?..."is the food ok"???... NOTHING...!. WELL 30 MINUTES later my food arrived and im pissed ... it may sound cray cray.. but now my appetizer that im sending back will come after I eat?..KEEP IT!. She was really pissed about us sending that cold greasy skillet bck... One cut into my sandwich and I almost vomit!... old alvacado and under cooked chicken!! They are the worst.. I like my food fresh.. Everything I drank and ate tasted old. I believe they have the worst and laziest cook in there that it makes the restaurant look bad.. I mean I order a burger and the lettuce and pickle looked old and I ask for a medium burger they gave me an over cooked burger. I order a pasta chicken, I like seeing grill mark on my chicken because that what make the pasta have a better presentation and a good taste to the chicken. Over all it's a good place to be. If I spent time on my salad, my steak would be cold. My daughter's shrimp didn't taste like it was supposed to. They were definitely over staffed for the amount of customers they had (which was less than a handful). There were multiple tables, more than one or two that have not been cleaned. You would think since they were over staffed they would have a few people to clean the tables but nope! Our waiter was not too friendly and seemed like he did not want to be there.
