First let me say, I totally understand the food and staff shortages in many restaurants and how incredibly hard it is to retain staff. So I'm thankful for those who worked tonight so I didn't have to cook. Those issues aside, the quality of the food tonight was quite underwhelming. I have to say, the last few times we ordered, everything was awesome. I ordered $90 worth of take out this evening and I'm not happy that some of the foods' preparations were subpar. I ordered a small party patter of ribs but they were sold out so I got a refund. I then ordered the small fajita party platter and egg rolls and a few of those items had issues. The black beans were tasty and the steak was seasoned, tender and juicy. The Mexican rice was horribly hard and inedible with no flavor but the grilled veggies were good. The chicken was unevenly cook, more like char-burnt not char--grilled (on three filets). I was missing guacamole and lettuce but was loaded down with plenty of tortillas. This was definitely NOT Chili's best but I'll still return because I've never had any issues prior.

Margarita chicken. This was how it was packaged. Tell me this wasn't someone's leftovers that somehow ended up as our order.

DON'T DO IT!!! JUST STAY AWAY!!! So, I will say I understand that Chilis is not considered the best, but we have always enjoyed it when in a pinch. Also understand shortages and everything going on right now. That being said, this Chilis is absolutely disgusting. We just received food from them and it all had to go straight in the trash. I have never seen anything like it before. It looked like there was some leftover food they decided to repackage as our food. In addition- the burgers smelled rancid and would have broken my teeth had I bit into it. The buns were burned . I tried calling multiple times and was hung up on (before I even spoke with anyone). Absolutely disgusting

I always enjoy the food here. Sometimes service is a little slow but I have never left unhappy . The old timer with bacon is my favorite.

The server was nice but slow. The real problem was the cook. My chicken came out way undercooked. It was disgusting to look at.

We came for their happy hour and sat outside on their patio. Despite it being November, it was considered their Summer Happy Hour which is available daily from 4 pm to 6 pm. This is what our party of four ordered - oysters and all the house snacks: * Whipped Feta HH $10 - Toasted sourdough was quite enjoyable with the hot honey topped whipped feta. I may need to get more whipped feta in my life. * Marinated Olives HH $5 - Yummy collection of olives. * G & T Mussels $10 - Mussels were nicely cooked and the fried saltines a nice touch! Yum! * Ishmael Fries HH $5 - Crispy and light with an enjoyable aioli. * Shucker's Dozen Oysters HH $24 - We got two dozen of these. They came with mignonette, cocktail sauce, horseradish, and something else. So fresh! Not only was the food great, but the service was wonderful as well. Despite being outside, we never felt neglected and our server along with the rest of the staff were on it. At one point, our waiter had to go to the back to help shuck oysters to help with the demand. There was no lapse of service as the staff stepped up to support his absence. They worked amazingly as a team here and it was well noted. Pigeon and Whale was one of our most enjoyable happy hour oyster experiences in New Orleans!

The ambiance was nice, small space but beautifully decorated. I went with a large group so we decided to get a variety of appetizers: seafood dumpling, roasted cauliflower, ceviche, chargrilled mussels, and grilled octopus. All were good but the chargrilled mussels and the ceviche were my top picks. For my cocktail I had the lavender Negroni, this was a strong drink but very good if you like Negroni. I liked it so much I had to order another one. We decided to try taste the rainbow, which is a 1/2 oz taste of 10 Negronis. I highly recommend this if you like Negronis. For my entree I had the swordfish schnitzel, which was delicious. For dessert I had the lemon cheesecake, it was perfection. I would definitely come back to this place, my only complaint was that the service was slow, our wait staff were very nice but we had to tell them multiple times we were ready to place our order. Great location on Feret St.

Our server, Christopher, was very attentive, suggested wine pairings, and gave us great recommendations. We started with the charbroiled oysters which is a must. They were large and charred to perfection on the outside grill, topped with parm and breadcrumbs. My friends ordered the filet and the gulf fish, and I had the charred cabbage entree, with a French gerwurztraminer blend. The mushrooms with the blue cheese sauce were so rich and delicious! Sweet treats were a no brainer. The blue cheese flan was creamy and decadent. A perfect ending to the meal. This is so far my fave restaurant in New Orleans. It's an honest, no BS creole inspired cuisine. 100% coming back soon!

And yet again, I am so thankful for Yelp steering me in the right direction yet again! A short Uber from the French Quarter brought us to what I believe is such a special hidden gem! The moment you step into Atchafalaya, you realize it. Ambience is amazing, quirky, cool, homey and cozy. Staff is amazing. We sat in our own private room and were treated to a very special delight of a dinner. I tried the incredible fried green tomatoes, the seafood soup (?) and the incredible steak...wow, everything was amazing. And not only did Chef Christopher Lynch come out to say hello to my Autistic son but the owner Tony Tocco did as well and it made his day! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Still a New Orleans Gem - Visitor since 2018!…read more I'm updating my review as of April 2026 because it's important for visitors to know that The Vintage has absolutely "still got it." My last review was in 2020, and I'm happy to report that the quality and atmosphere remain top notch. Whether you are looking for a morning pick up or an evening wind-down, this spot covers all the bases. Their beignets and coffee are a classic must have, and I can personally vouch for their Americano. It is consistently well made and delicious. They also have a great selection of beer and cocktails if you're looking for something a bit stronger. What really sets this place apart, though, is the hospitality. We have always had great interactions with the staff, but a special shout out goes to Jimmy, whom we met this past week. He was incredibly kind and hospitable, truly making us feel right at home. Jimmy if you are reading this, THANK YOU!! If you want a spot that feels authentic, welcoming, and consistently excellent, put The Vintage at the top of your list!

The menu has many choices. I ordered the firecracker shrimp with side arugula salad. The shrimp was yummy the salad too but expected more on the salad maybe cucumber or tomatoes over all for just having cheese on Arugula with dressing was ok. I paired it with the shrimp and it was tasty! According to the hop on/off bus the beignets & champagne are the hit at this cafe. The bartender made a wonderful cocktail with champagne & it was delicious! The spot is dog friendly & in a cute little restaurant/bar row & shops area.
