A couple of months ago, I had a late Sunday lunch with a friend. When we arrived (about 1:45), the restaurant was about 75% full, there was one family in the waiting area and no one else in line. There were at least 10 empty tables, about half were clean and ready. The hostess was having a personal conversation with a guest, obviously a friend. We waited almost 10 minutes (no exaggeration) for the hostess to even acknowledge us and finally - as politely as we could - interrupted their conversation to ask if we could add our name to the wait list. The hostess sniffed at us, added our name and went right back to her personal conversation. Another hostess came out and checked the waiting list. She then helped buss more tables before coming back to seat us. Once seated, our waitress was fairly attentive. It took almost 15 minutes for our order to arrive. Our meals were OK, but the portions were on the small side and the taste was nothing to rave over. Now, I understand that the staff was coming off the Sunday brunch rush, but the lack of professionalism displayed by the hostess staff really ruined our visit. I'm not a Chili's fan and this visit reinforced why. My friend, who lives in the area, said she would never be back. read more

Great happy hour, frosty beer mugs, good food/appetizers... Only issue, which I see a lot of: waitresses stand around in groups of 3-4 and chat and chat and chat!!! Bartender disappears for lengthy periods while people need service..This happens as managers walk around oblivious to what's going on...it's really obvious and I hear customers talking about it... Well, it's Chili's, right? I hadn't eaten in one in about a thousand years, and I needed a place to (1) have lunch and (2) watch Italia play in Euro 2016. 5 stars for big TVs all around the bar! Yay suburbia! I guess the service must be hit and miss, because all the servers at the bar on a Saturday afternoon were polite and attentive. So, not sure what happened to others with reviews here. It's Chili's, right? You don't really need a sommelier to assist you, or a coat check, or... Anyway, the man and woman behind the bar floated by just enough to ask if I wanted something else but were not pesky as places can be when you try to watch a game. The chicken with beans and rice I had was fine; the chicken in particular had been marinated in lime or brined, or both, and was cooked just right. The rice and beans were... ok. I had a salad that was iceberg lettuce with some flavorless (not very good cotijo maybe?) cheese and a mediocre dressing. So, in closing, this is an outpost of a casual chain restaurant, and I was glad to find it this weekend. read more

Got the Big Mouth Bites. Supposed to come with crispy onion rings and ranch. Got a small layer of fries with a pile of soggy fried onion string things like what might go on a burger. I don't know if that's what they consider onion rings here? But I didn't get my ranch either. read more

I've have a mixture of experiences here at Chili's, sometimes the customer service and food are very good, other times they have left something to be desired. Went to Chili's for a family dinner and I was not impressed. I was actually disappointed. It took almost 45 minutes for our food to come out and half of my party didn't receive there food for another 10 minutes. I ordered a simple meal, loaded potato soup and a house salad. Soup came out room temperature, and the salad looked like someone threw it on the floor and pick it back up and put it on the plate. Where do I start? The server was good. That was about it. The place was empty, yet we waited over an hour for the food. 3 adults, 1 child. We ordered 3 salads and a macaroni and cheese. It seriously took over an hour to get that order. When we did, the lettuce was soggy on both mine and my wife's, my chicken was cold; like the salads had been sitting around for a while. We did not eat them and were not charged for them. I was charged for the other 2 meals. So basically I waited an hour to pay to spend another half hour watching 2 other people eat. read more

Apparently this is where all of Hanford goes on Friday night. Don't complain if you have wait for a table - consider yourself warned (or if your table is too small- they are standard size; you are probably too fat and should walk home and have salad instead). The food is average quality, the portions large, and cheap. The margaritas are dangerously drinkable, the gin and tonics are more like gin with a twist of tonic. My fries were soggy, which shouldn't be the case when the kitchen is clearly flat out. The service was courteous and prompt. read more

We went there last Sunday after the Nutcracker for dinner. There was no line and got seated in a timely manner. The waiter was the best experience of the whole night. We got the 2 for 20.00. We also got 2 presidential margaritas. The appetizers were good. The steak entrees were not. The meat was under cooked and they had no taste. One of the steaks was so chewy it couldn't be consumed. After picking though our dinner the Margaritas finally arrived. I guess the bar was backed up. The manager did comp us for the chewy steak. The experience was just very disappointing. read more

Awful, awful, awful...did I say awful? I ordered online and went inside to pick up my order. I went to the 'To Go' spot back behind the bar. The employee was present...on her phone but still present. She told me that she had closed out the drawer so I needed to go to the bar to pick up my order. Okayyyyy...you can't go to the bar and get my order? You're just texting on your phone. So I walk to the bar...wait until the bartender finally sees me...only to have him say, 'Oh no, you need to go back to the To Go location. When I told him she had just sent me to him he shrugged. So I went back to the To Go location and told her what happened. She put down her phone, went and got my order and checked me out at the bar. Yeah...why didn't you do that the first time? The worst experience. Seriously if you're looking for a place to waste time and have a bad customer service experience go for it. I wasted my whole lunch break trying to pick up food that I already paid for online and ordered an hour and a half prior to coming. Waitress/manager/waiter were avoiding eye contact 15 minutes after waiting knowing I was starting to get irate instead of diffusing the situation by asking to help me. 20 minutes into waiting for lunch.. a waiter comes out with someone else's food after me then stated mine will be out but after a few minutes of waiting still nothing. I left 25 minutes after waiting for a simple order and came out with no food that I already paid for. Store looked full staffed and they had 1 bartender working all the tables for half the restaurant and the to go orders. Waste of my time. Money. And to top it off -- No food. read more

Wow! Chilis Hanford has really made a change for the positive... Great food... I had the boneless buffalo wings and the new peach margarita...super delicious! Great service by Christa, and everything was really clean including the restrooms... This place is definitely back on my list of go-to eateries. read more

Horrible, went to eat a nice early dinner with my family at about 2:30 and sat at the door for over 5min. Another couple ahead of us sat themselves and we still waited. Usually we come here at night when it's actually busy and workers are rushing around and service is still amazing.Today we came in and the host greeted us. Him and his trainee were so great. We were seated and literally sat there for 10-15 minutes without being acknowledged by anyone. It was extremely disappointing because we coming to love chili's. Let's start by saying we come for the lava cake. Kids menu items are ok. Got the $20 apetizer, 2 entrees, 1 dessert deal. Grilled shrimp Alfredo was fine. Noodles were cooked properly. Hard to believe how many restaurants can't properly cook noodles. My wife said her quesadilla explosion was bland. Floor was filthy at the table they sat us at. Our first waitress was good. Just finished our lunch-we had Margarita chicken fresh mex bowl and a lunch double burger. Everything was delicious. Tara, our server was precious. She was sweet and personable. Loved her!!! Chips and salsa was rockin'. The Deep Eddy Texas Lemonade was awesome!!! Yeah, we'll be back. read more

Went in to have lunch today and we sat in a booth on the bar side. Waited for our server for 10 minutes. 10 minutes turned to 20 and still no service not even acknowledged. The waitress visited the table behind us twice and still failed to say anything to us. Unfortunately for Chilis and for us we decided to leave because of the very poor service. Don't go on a Friday night or a Saturday night. The wait times are the worst and the waiting area is extremely small. The food is ok. Drinks are good there, the bartender usually does a good job. Most people go to watch the games and unwind from the work week. read more

Decemeber 5th was one of my closest friends birthdays, so we decided what better way to celebrate than applebee's? unfortunately for us, there was no table open big enough to seat a party of six. Instead of waiting for that table to open up, we decided to go to Chili's. In hindsight, we should have waited for that table. Our waitress was rude and she let our empty glasses accumulate on our table until there was no room for us to leave our filled glasses. Went there tonight for dinner. We were greeted at the door, seated right away. Our server came right away and got our drinks. Took our order, food came out cook to order and hot. She checked back with us several times, very friendly. The ribs fell off the bone, very tender, will definitely order them again. I have eaten in a number of Chili's and this one is struggling! The service is spotty, the food is okay not good. When I voiced a concern over the fact that I had waited 50 minutes for a hamburger....the manager said "Oh" that is it. The waitress only filled our drinks one time- remember that it is over 100 outside!!! I have tried Chili's three times in the last 2 months and not had a good experience one time. Worse service ever! Have given this Chilis SO MANY chances. Every single time - they disappoint. To-go service is always met with long waits and inaccurate orders.... and inside service is not much better. We had not been there in over 2 years but decided to go there again tonight to give it a try.... same disappointing service and attitude!
