Well, it's Chili's, right? I hadn't eaten in one in about a thousand years, and I needed a place to (1) have lunch and (2) watch Italia play in Euro 2016. 5 stars for big TVs all around the bar! Yay suburbia! I guess the service must be hit and miss, because all the servers at the bar on a Saturday afternoon were polite and attentive. So, not sure what happened to others with reviews here. It's Chili's, right? You don't really need a sommelier to assist you, or a coat check, or... Anyway, the man and woman behind the bar floated by just enough to ask if I wanted something else but were not pesky as places can be when you try to watch a game. The chicken with beans and rice I had was fine; the chicken in particular had been marinated in lime or brined, or both, and was cooked just right. The rice and beans were... ok. I had a salad that was iceberg lettuce with some flavorless (not very good cotijo maybe?) cheese and a mediocre dressing. The worst experience. Seriously if you're looking for a place to waste time and have a bad customer service experience go for it. I wasted my whole lunch break trying to pick up food that I already paid for online and ordered an hour and a half prior to coming. Waitress/manager/waiter were avoiding eye contact 15 minutes after waiting knowing I was starting to get irate instead of diffusing the situation by asking to help me. 20 minutes into waiting for lunch.. a waiter comes out with someone else's food after me then stated mine will be out but after a few minutes of waiting still nothing. I left 25 minutes after waiting for a simple order and came out with no food that I already paid for. Great happy hour, frosty beer mugs, good food/appetizers... Only issue, which I see a lot of: waitresses stand around in groups of 3-4 and chat and chat and chat!!! Usually we come here at night when it's actually busy and workers are rushing around and service is still amazing.Today we came in and the host greeted us. Him and his trainee were so great. We were seated and literally sat there for 10-15 minutes without being acknowledged by anyone. It was extremely disappointing because we coming to love chili's. Apparently this is where all of Hanford goes on Friday night. Don't complain if you have wait for a table - consider yourself warned (or if your table is too small- they are standard size; you are probably too fat and should walk home and have salad instead). The food is average quality, the portions large, and cheap. The margaritas are dangerously drinkable, the gin and tonics are more like gin with a twist of tonic. My fries were soggy, which shouldn't be the case when the kitchen is clearly flat out. The service was courteous and prompt. read more

We went there last Sunday after the Nutcracker for dinner. There was no line and got seated in a timely manner. The waiter was the best experience of the whole night. We got the 2 for 20.00. We also got 2 presidential margaritas. The appetizers were good. The steak entrees were not. The meat was under cooked and they had no taste. One of the steaks was so chewy it couldn't be consumed. After picking though our dinner the Margaritas finally arrived. I guess the bar was backed up. The manager did comp us for the chewy steak. The experience was just very disappointing. read more

Awful, awful, awful...did I say awful? I ordered online and went inside to pick up my order. I went to the 'To Go' spot back behind the bar. The employee was present...on her phone but still present. She told me that she had closed out the drawer so I needed to go to the bar to pick up my order. Okayyyyy...you can't go to the bar and get my order? You're just texting on your phone. So I walk to the bar...wait until the bartender finally sees me...only to have him say, 'Oh no, you need to go back to the To Go location. When I told him she had just sent me to him he shrugged. So I went back to the To Go location and told her what happened. She put down her phone, went and got my order and checked me out at the bar. Yeah...why didn't you do that the first time? Wow! Chilis Hanford has really made a change for the positive... Great food... I had the boneless buffalo wings and the new peach margarita...super delicious! Let's start by saying we come for the lava cake. Kids menu items are ok. Got the $20 apetizer, 2 entrees, 1 dessert deal. Grilled shrimp Alfredo was fine. Noodles were cooked properly. Don't go on a Friday night or a Saturday night. The wait times are the worst and the waiting area is extremely small. The food is ok. Drinks are good there, the bartender usually does a good job. Most people go to watch the games and unwind from the work week. read more

Went there tonight for dinner. We were greeted at the door, seated right away. Our server came right away and got our drinks. Took our order, food came out cook to order and hot. She checked back with us several times, very friendly. The ribs fell off the bone, very tender, will definitely order them again. Decemeber 5th was one of my closest friends birthdays, so we decided what better way to celebrate than applebee's? unfortunately for us, there was no table open big enough to seat a party of six. Instead of waiting for that table to open up, we decided to go to Chili's. In hindsight, we should have waited for that table. Our waitress was rude and she let our empty glasses accumulate on our table until there was no room for us to leave our filled glasses. I have eaten in a number of Chili's and this one is struggling! The service is spotty, the food is okay not good. When I voiced a concern over the fact that I had waited 50 minutes for a hamburger....the manager said "Oh" that is it. My family went to Chillis this past Sunday. First of all it took 10 minutes for us to be seated and they were not busy at the time. Then it took another 15 to 20 minutes just to get a waitress to come around and give you drinks. We finally ordered and our food was pretty much cold. I'm not sure what was going on there were at least 5 tables dirty and the staff was just standing around in the corner. We never saw a manager at all. I asked the waitress if they were short staffed she said no they were just having problems with the cooks. I will not be returning to the Hanford Chillis anymore. I'm not sure how a place like that can stay in business. They need to either hire new managers or retrain their staff on customer service. That was the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. read more
