I am so disappointed with my recent DoorDash order from the Chilies in Franklin. We normally love this location, which makes this experience even more frustrating. I ordered a bowl of soup and was sent a cup instead, even though I paid for the larger size. I also paid extra for four salsas that were three dollars each, and every single one arrived barely half full. We only ordered through DoorDash tonight because our dog had surgery earlier in the day and we didn't want to leave her alone to go pick up dinner. This was supposed to be my meal for the night, and instead I ended up paying forty three dollars for food that was not filling and honestly just disappointing. I placed an order the app for a triple dipper on a Friday night. I also got a free order of chips and salsa because of the rewards program. With the triple dipper, I got the southwest egg rolls, burger sliders, and honey chipotle mozzarella sticks. They put the order in a cardboard box instead of a plastic one which I enjoyed because it didn't trap the heat as much which I feel made the food soggy in the past. I also liked that they didn't cut the southwest egg rolls on fall because I feel like it made them stay fresher longer. I went to Chili's today with my dad and my older brother Preston. I was pumped up because I haven't been to Chili's since March of 2022. Anyways I ordered my food I got a cheeseburger and a side salad. The side Salad was so small dude it's like the size of a small child that was a disappointment. But the service was just alright too bro. Finally a good half an hour later my food arrived. And I eat the French Fries first and I am telling you I eat that bitch up like crazy. There was no I'm telling you no salt and paper shakers that sucked dick but whatever. The Cheeseburger was so fucking good I would give it a chefs kiss. Overall my experience here at Chili's was pretty good despite my two complaints. I would love to come here sometime soon. read more

This was the new restaurant of the week after being bombarded by the web for the 3 for me commercials. The place was empty but it was the last day of state fair. The place has a nice bar and is relatively nice looking because it's a chain. My server was prompt and friendly so I started with the drink special, $6 mango mambo margarita. The mango mambo margarita was actually delicious, never had mango before. The 3 for me was tortilla soup, frys and the big smash cheese burger for $10.99. The tortilla soup was topped with cheese, crispy tortilla strips with a creamy base and white meat chicken chunks. Ok it didn't blow me away but it was still good with the texture of the crispy strips, creamy soup and soft chicken chunks. The frys were lightly crispy, seasoned well and hot out of the fryer and went well with the big smash burger. The big smash burger was not smashed at all with shredded lettuce, pickles, American cheese, thousand island dressing on a fresh toasted bun. The big smash burger was pink inside and not cooked to death like I asked for, nice job. The big smash was tender and juicy, not dry and cooked to death. The big smash burger was delicious and reminded me of a Big Mac with out the third bun and meaty with the thick patty vs 2 thin patties and 3 buns, a mature Big Mac let's say. I am the opposite of most reviews this time and I don't understand all the low stars for a nice lunch with a cocktail for $18.06. Bowl of soup, hot seasoned frys, fresh 1/2 pound cheeseburger and a cocktail all made fresh except the soup that was good. Value vs freshness for my meal is definitely 4 stars with great service. We were sat immediately and had an attentive server. This review is on the kitchen. Our chips and salsa were out within mere minutes. My side salad took awhile. My food was fine, unfortunately that's not what I can say for the other diner. My boyfriend was asked if he wanted his burger cooked pink or well done. He replied that he would like it "in the middle" of the choices. While waiting the table next to us had food delivered. One of the ladies asked if hers was done. I was trying not to be too obvious looking, but it seemed to be chicken of some sort. Our food was delivered. While I was scraping off what could only be described as a vat of mayonnaise My boyfriend started eating and I didn't catch that he had turned his burger away from my view. A bit later his burger had turned into a mushy mess in his hands. We talked about how the bun wasn't toasted and it was over sauced. Well by the end he fessed up to why he had turned it away from my view. It wasn't medium, it wasn't "pink" it looked like it had barely touched the flattop. It was RAW. There's the TRUE reason why it was falling apart. I don't know how he could even bite into it and pretend to have to chew. (To explain him, he didn't want to complain.) My only rice is the day for pick up. Had to leave a tip. There was no way out of it. I'm just going to pick it up what the hell did anyone do to deserve a tip I think that's kind of steeling money for zero work I think there should be an option Taliva nothing at all. Probably one of the worst experiences I've ever had at a chain restaurant and would never step foot in a chilis again after being at this poor excuse of a chilis chain. Shut the place down if you can't hire anyone to help or give 2 shits about serving food. Watched from the bar all the servers in the back joke around, yell, waste time, and do everything but attend to anyone. Food was lackluster as well from other chilis. This is a review for 27th St. Franklin. I spent $26 on an Uber to get to this Chili's location from my hotel, just to watch the Brewer's game on their big screen TV and take advantage of the "3 for Me" special. When I got there, the TV's were offline and the manager told me, "Roof work was being performed and they moved their satellite dish". This was blatant bad management. The roof repair should have been scheduled for the early morning, so that the TV's would be online by the evening game times. Simply bad management. Luckily, Milwaukee Burger Company was next door, and they have TWICE the sports bar that Chili's does. Next time, I will go straight to Milwaukee Burger Company. read more

My husband & I planned a trip to this Chili's as a treat for a supper out. We had received a gift card for a Christmas gift from a friend down in Charleston. We walked in the side door and clearly saw 5 employees standing together socializing by what was seemingly the employee door. The General Manager, Eric, ( as we LATER learned his name ) looked directly at us but chose to walk back by the employees. We stood and waited at least 10 minutes to be seated but nobody assisted us. So we saw an open booth and seated ourselves. There were about 4-5 other people in this section but it was clearly not busy. When a waitress finally came over to ask us about drinks, we politely asked if we could go sit in the adjoining section. We told her the music was so loud but perhaps it would be better in the adjoins section. The waitress said, "I don't know." We have no idea what that meant but we decided to get up and go into the adjoining section. We sat in a booth, but the waitress disappeared. My husband and I then heard alot of laughter break out among the staff members and within seconds the music was turned up 10-fold. My husband looked at me and said, "we need to get out of here." We got up and gave our gift card to a young woman eating with her young son. She was only one of two people eating in this section. As we were walking out, the hostess ( as we saw that on her badge ) was kneeling on the floor with her back up against the wall. What was this ? And this young manager was back with the other employees. We have never been treated with such disrespect as the customers. We had never been in this restaurant before and will never go back. We did call the restaurant the next day and asked to speak with the manager. That's when this "Eric" answered the phone and we knew immediately he was part of the problem. Eric saw us enter the place, looked right at us, and everything went downhill from that point. The way he explained the extremely loud music, that happened seconds after they were all laughing when we complained about how loud it was. The music almost immediately was turned up beyond loud. Eric told my husband it was " pre-programmed " to do this. Wrong thing to try to sell to a bright, wise man. Our experience was horrible. We were happy to regift our card, but it was for the best. When we first came we (as in me, my best friend, and my sister - all 15) went in to have a nice night and a dinner. We weren't greeted, and waited 20 minutes at least to get someone (a waiter(ess)) to come to us to only get us drinks and make us wait another 20-30 minutes and proceeded to watch us along with management as if we were delinquents or criminals. It wasn't nice to be around and our waitress KAYLA. was obviously not in a good mood but i don't want to make her feel worse so yes we're nice but to dismiss my bestfriend because she's a little brown was not it.. especially if you're havingn a bad day it doesn't excuse your poor manners, isn't it literally in your job to be nice to earn tips? safe to say it was a 0%. Maybe don't undermine the amount a teenager has because she looks a little young. And to top it all off, she and the entire staff were INSANELY rude. I work in customer service myself and i am proud to say i have NEVER NOT ONCE looked at a customer who is PAYING FOR YOUR SERVICE like that EVER. if you live off of the tips you work for ATLEAST TRY TO WANT THEM. KAYLA I HOPE YOU GET FIRED, A BAD DAY DOES NOT DISMISS RUINING OTHER PEOPLE'S DAYS. AND MOVING A TABLE AWAY FROM US BECAUSE WE WERE GIGGLING AND HAVING A GOOD TIME IS REALLY SHITTY. I saw a commercial and of course we had no choice but to go. They have a $10 lunch where you get a drink, soup or salad, and an entree.we got to the hostess podium and stood there over 5 minutes before we were acknowledged. After looking over the menu we chose the burger and enchiladas. I ordered the chili for the soup.Some of the pieces of ground beef are very hard. It was all meat and no sauce. This is their namesake and in was expecting it to be better. We've come to the realization (The hard way) that we can't tolerate greasy foods. The hubby burger was literally dripping grease. My enchiladas were much of the same. I got through one before I had to request it to go. On the way to the bathroom I looked into the kitchen and there were tortilla chips smashed into the floor. At about 3:58 someone comes to door and takes signs down and puts up dining room opens at 5pm.Thanks for letting us sit and wait the 20mins only to laugh while putting up the new signs. Time to finally put this location out of its misery and close it down for good. Service has gotten progressively worse over the years. I probably haven't given a review for Chili's, but we dine here 3-4 times a year. I have never had poor service or poor food quality. My go-tos are Smoked Wings and Southwest Chicken Soup. These items are unique, slightly healthier and less processed than other offerings and I crave them both. And we can't stay away from the awesome warm chips and fresh Salsa. I usually get a veggie side. Tonight was steamed broccoli. There are new menus and a refreshed decor. There are plenty of beverage choices and the menu still had a good selection of Tex-Mex and American bar food. For a fast casual restaurant category I think the 4 rating is deserved. read more

I don't usually do many chains because of the food quality and wanting to support local, but sometimes it happens. They have an inexpensive salad and soup special which reminded me of olive gardens and I do enjoy their soup and salad, so went with that. Also included are endless tortilla chips and salsa. I just say I do really like the chips, and from what I understand they do make them there. The salsa is totally Caucasian Americanized "salsa" but it's alright. The salad was just ridiculous and silly. It was spring greens, dressing and a couple clumps of some kind of whit cheese that I couldn't even tell what kind probably because I had so little of it. Can you really slap some lettuce on a plate with dressing and call it "salad"? I'm feeling like there should be a minimum of ingredients to be able to call something salad. Maybe 3,4? Otherwise the menu should say "lettuce on a plate". They had four soup options: one was like a southwest chicken, potato, they also had chili, and something else. I was extremely hungry so ate all of my weak salad and southwest chicken soup, but I could tell right away the soup was not fresh tasting and was packed with tons of sodium. I wanted to try the potato, and... ugh even worse. It was not white as I'd expect a potato soup to be but a yellowish. Again too much sodium and I could see the separation of the oils and processed crap in the broth. I didn't eat it all, but wanted to try the chili at chili's... I mean with that being the name of the restaurant, you'd think there is something good about it. As if it could get even worse than the other two soups, it did. I had a few bites and that was it. I asked the server, The soups come premise and you just heat them up here, don't you? It was odd how she had a hard time saying yes but definitely not denying. People have a right to know where food they order comes from, just say it. She was very sweet by the way, I guess she felt uncomfortable or embarrassed by the food quality. This is why I skip the chains. I am so used to fresh, local food that I can't handle gross, mass produced, high sodium, preservative laden food anymore. It was cool they give you more chips and salsa to go. I only knew to ask because the table next to me had a huge bag of them and I thought they sold a go bag for a few bucks, but it was part of my "endless" deal! Usually endless stuff doesn't get to be taken home, but wow they hand the chips and salsa out here no problem. I was cool with that, obviously. My grandma did really like her burger, so I'm glad she was happy. As for me, the day I step foot in another chili's (or the like) will be far away and I'll never get the soup there ever again. read more

Unfortunately this location has fallen apart. Went there this afternoon and this will be my last trip to Chili's. Every time I have stopped by in the past year, they have gotten worse. Today the restaurant was filthy, there was trash under our table they sat us at. I asked for a seltzer water, they gave me regular water and played off like it was seltzer. I asked again for a seltzer and they told me that was seltzer.. apparently they now offer un-carboned seltzer. We ordered an appetizer, they forgot to bring plates. When we asked for plates, two out of the three were dirty. One had a black piece of something and a blond hair, the other was just dirty with food, disgusting. We had to dig through all the silverware bags they provided us to find a single fork that was clean, the rest were dirty. Food quality has gone down, they burnt our texas cheese fries. My wife commented that a couple she tried tasted like chemicals, so we ended up not eating much of it. My wife ordered jalapeno sausages, half of her food was the end bits.. you know the part that doesn't have much meat. My burger was subpar, bun was stale, wasn't very warm, had like 3 full slices of cheese on it, I really enjoy cheese but it was like 1/3" worth of cheese it was crazy. They forgot the pickles, had nearly an inch of tomato on it, the broccoli wasn't seasoned and oddly smelled like fish. My son ordered their kids chicken strips with fries, the chicken strips were so tough he couldn't chew through them. Surprisingly the fries were actually cooked right for him, so he got to eat those. They were also out of cherries for the kiddie cocktail he wanted though, but I can't complain to much about this as he doesn't need the sugar. Half the restaurant was closed, they only had 2 people that could work the bar and tables. Fair warning, they are not open consistently, you must call ahead to confirm if they actually have staff to function as a restaurant. I will also point out that out of the last three trips, one was at the Chili's in Kenosha WI and we also had a terrible experience there as well. My assessment at this point is Chili's as a company is collapsing. I think it is a matter of time before someone gets food poisoning and they are shut down. Chili's is my stop to go to to sit at the bar. Enjoy a presidente and some mexican egg rolls. I arrived here at approximately 1o'clock in the afternoon and was greeted by the hostess (due to not getting her name she had bright red hair). I asked her if I could sit at the bar as I was only getting an appetizer and a drink. I waited at the bar, mind you there were maybe five customers in the building, for approximately 5 to 7minutes without acknowledgment, without seeing any staff, no one. Upon looking around, I saw the hostess and asked if there was a bartender around. She stated, she's coming. So, I waited some more and finally someone waits on me. The bartender was attentive while I was there and took care of me as expected. I paid my bill at the kiosk that is provided thruout the restaurant and gathered my things to leave. Again, remember, I am but of the five customers in the entire restaurant. As I head to the door and the hostess is at the front desk, she turns and walks away from me. No thx, thx for coming in, not have a good and or bad day, nothing. Now, am I expecting a bit much, I don't think so. The job of a hostess is to host the people who dine. Acknowledge me, make it a courtesy that if you see I sitting at the bar for minutes on end, let me know you got things covered and that I am not just sitting being ignored which is exactly how I felt. Extremely poor customer service on the hostesses behalf. Do better or train them better but she I obviously not cut out for the customer service expected in the position she is working. She is doing Chili's zero favors. I will not come back to this location again as i can't even imagine how it must be shld they actually be busy. read more

My first time going to chili. Didn't have to wait long for service. I order the full rack of ribs. And chicken sandwich . The service was good, fast. The food was ok, the fries was a little cold. They got to us right away but after that it was slow motion. I will say, big portions but average food. This place needs a serious deep cleaning. Floor is badly discolored from traffic and what ever has been spilled on it. If you get the lighting the right way, you will disgusting amounts of dust higher up in the place. Gross. Ordered Buffalo wings extra crispy with blue cheese dressing at the Franklin location. When we got home they were not at all crispy, little to no sauce, and served with ranch dressing. The celery was limp and almost as rubbery as the wings. We usually go to the Chili's in Waukesha or Boise and have enjoyed both the food and service. The other half of the time you find RAW green onions heavily mixed into your baked potato soup and loaded mashed potatoes, instead of cooked ones inside and just a few raw ones on top for decoration. Yesterday's carryout was a strange experience. You can order with the ap and choose carryout at check out. Then, when you get to the store, there's a sign blocking carryout, stating every order is curbside again. For the last two weeks, carryout was just fine and the dining room is open. Now some ManagerOnDuty decides to revert back to the shut down method? When you call to let them know that you are there, you get a gal with a snotty attitude on the phone. When she bickers with you about where you're parked and you say handicapped space (I'm eligible) she still wants to know the space number. There's ONE handicapped space by the carryout door, and no one else was in the parking lot. It makes you wonder if you'll get the correct order. read more
