I just love Chili's restaurant. We got a gift card for Christmas and had not been there for a while so we went. The service was great and our server made us laugh. He seemed like he loved his job. Everything we have ordered was delicious. We especially loved the Fajitas for two. It comes with chicken steak and shrimp and black beans and rice and sour cream. Now it seems we have to have a weekly dose of them. You leave Chili's full and have experienced great customer service. What more could you ask for.

Hometown chilis right here, she has never given me any problems or tummy aches. Food is always good! Triple dipper + frozen marg = can't go wrong. The service is usually pretty good here! Can get pretty busy during peak hours, but typically doesn't take too long for seating.

4 protein fajitas special for two!

Currently Chilies is offering pick 4 protein fajitas meal to share for $40 for two people. This includes two sides of rice, black beans, sour cream, pico de gallo and choice of flour of corn tortillas. Of course my husband and I had to select that meal to check out the quality and quantity, and we weren't disappointed at all! Food was on point but could've had it better with pinto beans rather than black beans. The service was quick and easy with no waiting time; this happened because we checked in through the Yelp app to join the restaurants waiting list which made it super convenient. During our visit my daughter selected their full rack of ribs and fries for 28$ and let me tell you that was also delicious.

The service was great, that's not the issue. The issue was last night when about 5 friends and I were enjoying our meal when some staff member recognized a friend of mine. I don't think it's wrong to say hi or anything, but the issue comes when you're forcing my friend to have a whole separate conversation right in front of us. This male staff member passes by, recognizes her, then says "oh don't be a stranger." Then my friend says she's not being a stranger she just didn't recognize him, and instead of it being left there THIS MAN BABY WANTS TO WHINE LOL!!!!! Talking bout some "oh yes you are blah blah I'm right here wah wah." His attitude was very off putting, the least he could've done was offer us a free dessert if he "recognized her" so much. Honestly, what I really didn't like was how forceful he was about the whole conversation, like bro you're in the middle of a shift WHERES YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE VOICE??? Instead he gonna put on his "where my hug at?" voice on. I don't know what kind of guys my friend chats with here and there, but this one forgot that he wasn't at no tinder-rejects convention. Anyways, sorry if this comes off as offensive or aggressive, I was tipsy last night and the last thing I was gonna do is tell a staff member he was being pushy and ruining the vibe for about 30 seconds, and that he was being annoying. All I ask is that these staff members be taught how to foster a welcoming environment, how to maintain their professional presence, and that there are some tables that do not want to engage with outsiders that are not dinning with them. And make sure those preventative sexual harassment courses have been taking and are up to date!!!!!!

My family and I dine here every now and then, once every month or every couple months. Very good service. Clean environment, clean bathroom, clean tables. It takes a bit for our food to get here but honestly I understand it because it's normally busy so.

The family loves coming here every now & again, Chili's definitely hasn't lost their touch. Been coming to this specific location for the last 20 or so years & I've never had a bad experience, my go to's are usually the Texas Cheese Fries with Chips & Salsa. Changed it up this time & got the 6oz Classic Serloin with Broccoli and loaded mashed potatoes with a side of loaded baked potato soup and washed it down with an 805.

Came to eat for lunch and study for my medical exams. Lovely hostess gave me a small booth for myself and my server was so kind and handled me quickly. Got my food in like ten minutes. She always checked on me and just took great care of me. The food was absolutely delicious. The food was so fresh and well made, I have absolutely nothing to complain. The environment was so clean and well organized. I will definitely pick Chilis over anything else. And all for 20 dollars.

We've been wanting to branch out and find another bar to hang at and decided to give this place a try. I'd been here years ago when it was Shamrocks and had a fun night with friends, but only once and never again. So when he brought me here I was down. The security guy was cool and not one of those meat heads that have zero personality so that was a great first impression. The place is pretty big with most of the space being a stage with a lot of lighting and equipment. There's also a nice sauce dance floor and plenty of tables and chairs spread throughout. They have tv's playing videos for whatever music is playing at the time with a ticker at the bottom of the screen informing you of their weekly schedule. They have an edm night, a Latin night and even a karaoke night which, just our luck was the night we went! The karaoke setup was nice and convenient with you being able to scan a QR code to get access to their song list and setting up your turn from your phone. The bartenders were quick and friendly enough, getting through orders and continuing to make drinks for everyone. I've already told a few friends that we will have to come back and actually get on stage to sing next time.

Even the manager came up and introduced herself and we had a nice chat. Smaller space than most bars but that is fine as for now, this place does not seem to get very busy. Even though happy hour runs late! The prices for drinks were more than affordable but nothing fancy. Your moscow mule for example will come just in a regular glass (darn thieves!) and not the slick, proper, copper mug that will keep your drink colder for longer. Again, think Denny's. Also tried a simple vodka drink and a margarita. They were fine. We went on a Fri night I think at 9pm when surprisingly, karaoke started. THIS was interesting. I was excited as it was listed as 80's night but as the night went on, 'anything goes' was the rule. It was fun but the same people went up over and over again trying to get their big break! They were having fun with it - we just decided to leave when the foul, crappy hip hop came on. The mood had shifted. There are booths, high tops and you can eat from the regular Denny's menu. We did not eat but what was recommended to us by staff were the burgers and skillets for next time. To sum up - this is a very casual spot to bring some friends and have drinks on the cheap with friendly service. And a diner menu if you are hungry that serves late into the night.

Nobody plans to spend an evening in Bakersfield. You pass through it on the way to somewhere else…read more-- Mammoth, the Sequoias, the long flat grind up the 99 to Sacramento -- and if you stop at all, it's for gas or a bathroom or because your BMW's brakes have decided, somewhere around the Grapevine, that they'd rather not. Thank you, Weatherford BMW of Berkeley, for the near-death experience and, inadvertently, for one of the best nights out I've had in years. Stranded and waiting on repairs, we checked into The Padre, the only hotel in Bakersfield that feels like someone with a subscription to Dwell had a hand in it, and set out walking through a downtown that time has treated with more kindness than reputation suggests. There's a Woolworth's luncheonette still hanging on. There are old brick facades and wide sidewalks and the particular quiet of a Central Valley evening when the heat finally breaks. And then, on 18th Street, there is Tiki-Ko, and suddenly you are no longer in Bakersfield at all. You are, instead, inside someone's magnificent obsession. Tiki-Ko is a proper tiki bar -- not a tiki-themed cocktail lounge, not a place that bought some bamboo at a craft store and called it atmosphere, but a genuine, committed, floor-to-ceiling shrine to mid-century Polynesian fantasy. The carvings are real. The lighting is correct -- which is to say, barely there. The mugs are serious. There are pufferfish lamps and carved totems and the whole glorious taxonomy of tiki ephemera, accented here and there with a skate-culture edge that keeps it from feeling like a museum. It's reverent without being precious. The drinks are the real thing. Mai Tais built with actual orgeat. Zombies that earn the name. The bartenders make them with the kind of care and enthusiasm that tells you this isn't a gig -- it's a calling. They want you to be here. They want to talk about rum. They want you to try the Painkiller. In a city that most Angelenos regard as a punch line, somebody built a world-class cocktail bar and filled it with joy, and the regulars clearly know it. You will not plan a trip to Bakersfield. But if you find yourself there -- by mechanical failure, by accident, by the peculiar mercy of a bad brake job -- walk downtown. Find the tiki bar. Order a second round. Stay longer than you intended. Bakersfield has been underestimated, and Tiki-Ko is the proof.

The service or person behind the bar was chill and super friendly. I came in on the earlier side of a Friday evening, so although people were trickling in, the place wasn't packed. Since I was only able to stay for a drink, I just wanted to walk down and check out 'The Sinking Ship' and was thoroughly impressed by the decor (well pretty much for both spaces). Definitely a place I'd love to grab drinks with friends or spend more time at.
