My daughter pleaded with me to go to Chili's and I am so glad I gave in, but there was SO much food. Our server was super attentive and took very good care of us. She explained some of the drinks on the menu and I wound up ordering one of the alcoholic punch drinks. It was good, but a little sweeter than I usually order. My daughter had a dragonfruit lemonade and it came in a large glass. No refill necessary. Plenty to drink. When the server thought our drinks were taking too long, she got right on it. We were in no hurry but I appreciate that kind of attention. We had so much food. We took some home and still had a lot of the dips left from the chips. Our server sent us home with a bag of chips. They are really thin and crispy. My chicken sandwich was juicy and had very fresh toppings. There is a variety pf seating. I liked the tall booth we were seated at. The place was super busy for a Wednesday night but it was also nice to see families having a nice time together. It seems to be a favorite for some. We saw a large family celebrating a birthday. We eat here about 3-4 times a month. The service is usually great, the orders typically arrive quickly, and they create a fun and welcoming atmosphere. My favorite thing is the 3-For-Me menu; this makes Chili's an affordable option when taking my family out. I'm pleased at the return of the waitlist on Yelp. I'd like to see Call Ahead Seating brought back too. Areas for improvement: The bathroom is usually messy, and the food has been a little inconsistent lately. For example, steaks are often too rare or overcooked when attempting to achieve medium-rare. On the smash burger, sometimes the patties don't get smashed while cooking and come out like a regular patty. read more

Went for lunch on a Sunday, didnt have a wait at all. We ordered right away though we were disappointed they didnt have childs meal grilled chicken anymore for my GF child. We ended up having to order her an adult steak that she didnt eat. Food was fine, I wasnt blown away, I had the guiltless 6oz steak, it was perfect amount if food and flavorful. Service was good, with the exception that I had ordered a margarita that wasnt put in, and when we finally inquired about it we were told it wasnt put in so I told them to forget it since my meal was 3/4 done. Chili's for dinner mainly to try the Wicked drinks! Glad we came because we weren't aware the promotion ends at the end of November. The Pink drink was really good. The green one wasn't the favorite of the group but we all appreciated how STRONG they tasted. They did run out of wands which is a bummer because it's what makes the drinks fun and cute! Other drinks we ordered was the flamingo (frozen margarita) and the long island. The flamingo was super super good, definitely would order it again. We also ordered the honey chipotle mozzarella sticks. They were super super delicious and stretchy! I just love Chili's restaurant. We got a gift card for Christmas and had not been there for a while so we went. The service was great and our server made us laugh. He seemed like he loved his job. Everything we have ordered was delicious. We especially loved the Fajitas for two. It comes with chicken steak and shrimp and black beans and rice and sour cream. Now it seems we have to have a weekly dose of them. You leave Chili's full and have experienced great customer service. What more could you ask for. read more

This includes two sides of rice, black beans, sour cream, pico de gallo and choice of flour of corn tortillas. Of course my husband and I had to select that meal to check out the quality and quantity, and we weren't disappointed at all! Food was on point but could've had it better with pinto beans rather than black beans. The service was quick and easy with no waiting time; this happened because we checked in through the Yelp app to join the restaurants waiting list which made it super convenient. Absolutely terrible experience. We checked in and waited over 15 minutes for our turn, staying nearby the entire time. Then out of nowhere, we received a text saying our name had been removed from the waitlist. The young blonde girl working the tablet at the front never came over to check for us, never called our name, and never gave any warning before removing us from the list. If a restaurant is going to remove guests from the waitlist, the least they can do is make a reasonable effort to find them first. We wasted our time waiting only to be taken off the list without explanation. Very frustrating and disappointing customer service. read more

Came in to this store as a first time customer was around the area so thought to stop by. At first everything was fine server was very attentive and friendly but when it came to the food... my partner and I decided to share the smoke house combo and when it came to our table we immediately saw a facial hair on the meat :( they said they would remake it no problem so we waited and waited for almost 30 to 45 mins to where we had to cancel the order. The store was pretty empty as well. The sever was very apologetic and offered us a round of drinks on the house so I would say this place has okay service but that's it. My wife and I are regulars at this Chilis. We visit roughly once a week service here is always great. This particular Chilis is in a more busy part of Bakersfield so on the weekends are during dinner time they do tend to get pretty busy. So you might find yourself waiting 20 or more minutes for a table. But once you are seated service is always very quick. Their food here is always excellent. Burgers and chicken sandwiches are always our go to. My son loves the soups and of course those bottomless chips and salsa. Even though this place gets pretty busy the management and the rest of the team always do a good job of keeping everything clean and in order. They are able to adjust for party sizes of six or more. But for parties that size I would definitely attempt to call ahead, or you're gonna be looking at a pretty good wait time. read more

A server that knew the menu, prices and everything included with the deal. And the whole point of coming to Chilis was to eat actual chili and that was the worst chili I've ever tasted in my whole life. Barely warm and the taste was just awful.
