Chicken bacon ranch nachos were stale with no bacon. Chicken fajitas had soft tortillas were warm but hard. Our server Teresa the bartender was awful! Never asked how our food was or if we needed anything. When my husband finally got her attention because she was sitting with three other employees at a booth talking when she came over she had a terrible attitude. He tried to get a retention and she didn't see him so he yelled hey so then when she came over, she said, "and by the way, my name is Teresa." she then proceeded to go to the bar and tell other customers "there's always one" about my husband. I had to call her over to get it to go box for what we had left. She begrudgingly came over and then brought me back a box with another attitude. Wonderful servers. Good food. I stayed at the hotel next door and didn't know the area. I walked into the Chili's and the bartenders and servers were so nice and welcoming. The lead Bartender Teresa is a clever and professional lady who is more than happy to discuss the local area. I have eaten at this Chili's 4 times and every meal was good. I will recommend this Chilis's and I definitely will be back the next time I'm here. Good food, good drinks, inviting environment. read more

Can I give it zero stars? House margarita tasted like margarita flavored dish soap i got a burger with a plant based patty. The bun was stale the burger was cardboard pellets smashed together. I ate some of the fries because I was so hungry. I paid $25 for the worst meal I have had in many, many years. All of the other adults I was with made the smart choice of chicken tenders- but I don't eat meat and I had ZERO options besides the burger or salad- I cannot imagine how bad a salad would be. First time at Chili's after hearing about their $5 monthly margarita deals. This place was a no go for their drinks. The drinks were filled with sugar and we all left with painful stomachaches. Great deals with their food menu. I believe we ordered the $25 for 2. For the appetizer we choose the blossom petals which were great for sharing. We picked the chicken pasta and chicken tenders for the full-sized entrees. Both entrees were great portions. We finished it off with dessert with their skillet chocolate chip cookies with a scoop of ice-cream on top. Again, all this food for about $25 (if I'm not mistaken).. such a great deal. Stopped in for lunch during the weekday. I don't like chain restaurants and prefer the mom & pops and Hole in the Walls. I haven't been to a Chili's in over a decade. I was pleasantly surprised. I've had their baby back ribs before and since it's been airing on tv commercials, I ordered it. The baby back ribs are on point. Meat falling off the bone and yet has a crunch exterior. The BBQ sauce, although sugary like most BBQ sauce, was perfect. Fries accompanied the entree. Chili's got fancy with their fries. Skin on fries with sea salt. I personally wouldn't come back here on my own since I really do prefer non-chain restaurants. But I would gladly go with coworkers that were craving it. read more

I went in for dinner last night at 7 PM and we were sat down. When we were sitting down looking over the menu we had realized we were sitting there for about 10 to 15 minutes and no one had even come order to take our drink order or give us waters. It was not busy at all and we saw the entire wait staff sitting on their phones and talking to each other like ot was a big great party. It was extremely rude and made me and my sister not even want to dine there so we literally walked out no one said anything. Horrible customer service. read more

Truly horrible experience. Bartender was great it all fell apart after I ordered burger came with bacon uncooked send it back it returns with burned bacon and cold french fries. Manager never showed up to apologize. Bartender took the heat which I explained to her it was not her fault she's the messenger. I i've eaten here many many times and have never had this experience. Okay so I love this place. My colleagues and I will come here as tradition when we are in town for work and it never fails. We come in pretty late in the evening during weekdays (around 8 or 9) but the service is always on top of it. They always make sure our drinks are filled (most important). Plus they have such a large variety for beer, wine and cocktails that wont break the bank. I actually prefer to come here rather than a high end restaurant because it is more casual. You know what you're getting into food wise. Sure it's not a high end steakhouse, but they have a large selection for food. Great for big group's.. i love their guacamole, glazed wings, and chips and salsa . Their cookie and brownie skillets are Amazing. Make sure to add extra ice cream. They also have a large bar area. IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A GOOD TASTY MEAL, DO-NOT-VISIT-CHILI'S-ON-RIVER-ROAD-IN-ANDOVER-MA. A little background. My wife and I gave Chili's (Andover, MA River Road) a try. We had a poor experience 2 years before. It took us this long to give it another try. Again they DISAPPOINT BIG TIME. I ordered Chicken Fajitas and my wife a big bowl of New England Clam Chowder. Then I looked at what they had brought me. The first thing I saw was that the Chicken Fajitas weren't sauteed - instead they were "STEAMED" (huh??) with the Tortillas dry as a desert and dark brown reflecting possible overcooking on the edges. I concluded that the staff had left them on their stove too long. The sauteed onions were mostly raw - suggesting that all they were doing was throwing them on a grill for a moment or two - then on to the plate. My wife's clam chowder was OK (the only thing she could say about it was that". And she LOVES Claim Chowder being very enthusiastic when she really liked something. Kind of a "left-handed compliment" statement. At this point, I spoke with a waitperson and asked to have the manager visit my table. He came shortly afterwards, I showed him the food (explained above in this critique). He offered to bring me something else. By this time, I had LOST MY APPETITE and told him NO. We paid for my wife's clam chowder and walked out. We will NEVER come back to Chili's again - twice-shy as you would expect. If you go, be prepared to be disappointed BIG TIME. read more

I hadn't been to chili's in several years, but decided to stop here with a group of friends on a road trip. The appetizers and main dishes were all great, my friends enjoyed everything they got. The service wasn't the best, but also wasn't the worst. However, one thing that wasn't amazing was when I got my Cajun chicken pasta it was cold. The restaurant was pretty busy and our waitress was flying around the restaurant, so definitely cutting them some slack. Overall, I had an enjoyable chili's experience. read more

This time during lunch the server was nice, but couldn't get the order straight the meals weren't any good and it was just an awful experience. Hi, I'm Greg Freitas.. I went to Chili's today for lunch. I ate at the bar, and had "bird" as my bartender/server. I ordered a ipa and they about a dozen brews on tap.. I ordered a straight out 1/2 pound Bacon cheeseburger.. Comes with fries. I ordered it medium rare.. Was a little more medium, but pretty much right on the money.. I can't remember getting a burger in recent years, any more tasty or juicy period. It was super crazy good, fast, and excellent service.. Convenient off route 93 at River road. We've been getting food to go from this location for years, and it's always been really good. We ordered the other night and as soon as we opened our ribs and steak, we threw it in the trash. The ribeye steak was almost entirely fat and not cooked how we ordered it. The ribs look like the chef panicked and realized they were out of ribs, grabbed some out of the freezer, boiled them, and threw some barbecue sauce on them. Both entrées were completely inedible. On the bright side, we got a margarita, an app and a dessert and those were fine. They did refund us the money spent on the other stuff but I doubt we will ever be back. Spending almost $70 on dinner shouldn't come with that much risk. read more

There is a greeter that is supposed to greet each person. As they come in. Regardless of nationality or ethnic background.I stay at the hotel next-door and come here often. I have witnessed every occasion the Latino male greeter greet only Latinos and deliberately ignore anyone else. The service is terrible! The girls try there hardest to get everything out in a timely manner but communication amongst the staff sucks. It's so many people working here and it's still a long wait getting your food. And the guy named robbie who works there is terrible at waiting tables, it's like he's confused if he should ask if you need a refill when your drink has obviously been empty for 10 minutes. Came in to grab some take out. Got chips and salsa as we were waiting and not sure if they changed the recipe but it was so watered down and flavor less. Although our food was good when we got home, so no complaints there. But as we were waiting there was a lot to look at regarding the staff. As a previous server, being on the cell phone is a big no-no. As the waitress sitting down behind us was scrolling through for a while, what was worse was the manager was behind the bar and would not stop looking at his phone! Was very unprofessional! He seemed to be someone who has a huge ego. And there was this waiter who would not stop singing along with the restaurant music. He was so loud and clearly wanted attention.
