In today's horrific healthcare environment, prompt service and being treated with respect is scarce, which makes experiences and businesses like this stand out. I have now seen several of the rotating Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners, and every one of them has been warm, friendly, professional, and easy to talk to. I don't know how many they have on staff but they seem to have enough to serve everybody who comes in and very promptly as well. Overall bedside manner is warm, friendly, and genuinely interested in helping you. I never feel rushed through an appointment. My most recent visit involved what I believed was an ear infection, but it turned out to be more of an ear pH imbalance and irritation issue rather than anything severe. It is the kind of condition that can often be treated with simple over-the-counter remedies, yet it still helps to have a qualified medical provider evaluate it properly and point you in the right direction. Obviously, urgent care does not replace having a primary care physician. However, if you have no health insurance, very often you do not have a primary care physician either. That is the reality for millions of people who are unemployed, between jobs, self-employed, or simply not earning enough to absorb the monthly cost of a health plan. In the age of AI and economic disruption, more people are slipping through the cracks of healthcare than many care to admit. I do not currently make enough money to comfortably carry a monthly insurance plan, and I am not old enough for the next chapter of life, which is the Medicare age. Until then, clinics like Doctors Urgent Care provide an important bridge with reasonable self-pay pricing and accessible care. In a healthcare system wrought with obsessively high insurance costs and pharmaceutical companies earning billions each year while many Americans struggle to afford the basic necessities of life... this business is genuinely helping to fill an important gap for many people, which is why those five-star reviews continue.

You can either schedule online or walk in and you generally do not have to wait more than 20 minutes and often less. You are really never in the office for more than 30-40 minutes and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The Dr's and nurse practitioners are very knowledgeable, caring and they give you the care that you deserve. You often will get a follow up call either the next day or the day after to see if you are doing better. I will very often come here if I have a health issue that needs immediate attention instead of waiting for an appointment with my primary care physician that would often take some time to get. Unfortunately, my experience today was very disappointing. During my daughter's appointment, I was denied access to the consultation room because I was accompanied by my service dog. As a result, I was not allowed to enter the exam room with my daughter for her physical appointment. My service dog is fully licensed, has accompanied me to medical appointments before without issue, and was completely under control at all times. He was placed inside his stroller, did not touch the floor, and did not come into contact with any physical facilities or medical equipment. Despite this, the staff refused to allow us access. As a long-time patient, I believe it is important for staff to be properly informed and trained regarding service animal rights, especially in a medical setting where inclusion, understanding, and patient support are essential. I sincerely hope this situation is reviewed so that no other parent or patient has to experience something similar in the future.Legal Rights of Service Dogs (ADA) Service dogs are protected under the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), a federal civil rights law. Where service dogs are allowed A service dog is permitted to accompany its handler in all public places, including: * Medical and pediatric offices * Hospitals and clinics * Exam rooms and waiting areas * Schools and government buildings * Restaurants, stores, and businesses open to the public Medical facilities may not deny access, except in strictly sterile areas (such as operating rooms). She got us checked in quickly and answered all our questions. Helped get the second opinion for our daughter set up easily despite it being a difficult situation. They are expeditious, hard-working, and quick to share a smile. Working in the ER must be taxing as this is a time, not planned, and caretaker/family members must drop everything to get the patient there as quickly as possible in most cases, so now emotions are filled with anxiety. However, somehow it gets better when they walk in your room, and suddenly a sense of peace overcomes you....because you know that they have it all under control. It's an Emergency facility so I was a bit hesitant to go in as this was far from an "emergency" but when I went in I simply could not have been treated better! Between registering me, taking me back to a room, taking my vitals and history, getting the Doc in to see me, look at my ear and give a referral and checking out, I was out of there in 30 mins or less! Everyone was super nice. Although you can go in for "urgent care" this is a full-on Hospital facility. Everything is state-of-the-art. I could not recommend it more highly!
