I love the people here in Dunnellon. From the front desk to the providers, these ladies are the best! The new front desk lady is so sweet, she always calls you hon, honey or love. She got us checked in quickly and answered all our questions. Helped get the second opinion for our daughter set up easily despite it being a difficult situation. So, this place has kind people working here... the issues come from communication from the front desk, to the fact that I've had to reschedule appointments for my daughter about 6 times in the past 3 months due to doctor not being available as of the day of the appointment. It's the only place I found around Ocala who takes my insurance (good ole Tricare...). This is more of an informational review rather than a slam of the place as I have given it 3 stars not 2. the best drs office EVERRRR!! the drs office i was with before didn't quite take my concerns serious when it came to my first baby & i found premier pediatrics by chance ... ever since i've switched to them i've had a much happier baby. let me just say dr.nodica brown is amazing. she listens, she is transparent, & incredibly patient. then there is jessica. she's the absolute sweetest. she is always cheerful & smiling. my baby & i just adore her. & although i'm not the patient she goes over & beyond. she makes sure to ask me about myself & my mental every visit. i definitely appreciate that because as a new mom sometimes it's overwhelming. she's professional, but very relatable & it is always a pleasure to see her. read more

I definitely give this place a 0 staff are very rude and unprofessional a girl name Jessica took care of my son that identities going to remain anonymous for retaliation purposes she was very rude my son came in for a physical so that includes everything she did not do vision or hearing and put it as he pass everything she was very loud.she also smell just like marijuana and was speaking with her other coworker about personal issues while me and my son we're sitting there I find this place to be very poor and professionalism I hope someone can change things around here because dr Eunus work very hard to be where he's at for he's staff to run he's office to the ground read more

I have worked here. My child goes here. Just like any normal business they do get backed up during certain times of the year (right when the children start school). They could treat employees a bit better, but as a patient they have always treated my daughter with the highest respect and the nurses are usually super nice. I love seeing my old work friends when I have my daughters appointments. If I need something done they usually help in any way they can in regards to their policies and regulations. Associated with kids health alliance who are also amazing and take the time to talk to you. Providers are amazing Peyton, Nodica, and Rachel are my favorites. Jojo is such a hard worker and Juanita the assistant manager does everything she can to keep to keep this facility running smoothly. The billing department and insurance verifications have had improvements in the last year. They always are there when we need them read more

I have been taking my 7 year old to Premier Pediatrics since he was 3 years old and I cannot say enough great things about the Dr.s and their staff. After wanting answers for my toddler son, Dr. Eunus diagnosed my son with selective mutism and has helped me understand what it means and now my son is starting therapy to help him with his disorder. Dr. Eunus is patient, understanding, and really cares about his patients. Dr. Eunus has always took the time to spend with my son and listen to my concerns. He has never rushed our appointment like some other offices. His staff has always been friendly and super great with us. I cannot ask for a better pediatrician and as long as I live in this area, I will always choose them for my son. Thank you Dr. Eunus and staff for such great care!!! read more

When I first moved to Ocala from the big city, the most difficult part was finding a new pediatrician for my then 6 month old son. I was really attached to his pediatrician at home. We have made the decision to use an alternative vaccination schedule for our son, due to my serious concern of anyone administering 6-7 vaccinations in a baby on one day. Our pediatrician in Atlanta recommended the Dr. Sears Vaccination schedule. So, I knew I was going to need a Pediatrician who was understanding of my decision for my son's medical treatment. Who would have known this community would be so unwilling to work with parents. After days of calling pediatrician after pediatrician, I finally found Dr. Eunus. Although he had never heard of the Dr. Sears Vaccination schedule, he was open to meeting me and working with me. Not only is he an open-minded Pediatrician, not only does he respect parents involvement with their children, not only does he give him medical opinion and why he agrees or disagrees with your decision (but never condescends or dictates), not only does he not rush to antibiotics and chemicals as the first course or option of treatment... But, he is fabulous to new patients! That, I find is so rare in a Doctor. I made an appointment for my son when I first moved down, and called back a day later needing to move that appointment date because I would be started a new job sooner than expected. His staff was wonderful and fit me in. And to this day, they are always willing to fit you in, with a smile on their face. They have been fabulous! As a first time, severely neurotic mother, I have had 2-3xs the "recommended" visits! My son has been in for a cough, runny nose, rash, you name it! And always, they work me in with a smile! Dr. Eunus takes his time with each patient. Sure, sometimes you have to wait, but that's because he doesn't see his practice as a procession of faceless and nameless clients. I highly recommend Dr. Eunus for your child. He has just opened another office off of Hwy 200, down off of Airport Road. It's beautiful! read more

This office is not understanding at all I'm never late to apts this day it was raining super hard lots of unforeseen accidents occurred that day. I called and told them 10 mins before my apt I was running late and wouldn't be more than 10/15 mins she advised me that I would have to make another apt. I told her that it wasn't fair and pretty much begged her to make an exception it was 15 mins not 30 not an hour 15mins so I thought they would be understanding NOPE. I was injured and could barely walk and this was the third time I had to reschedule it I walk in the office to attempt to still explain and they were very DRY towards me not even a BIT of compassion. Do yourself a favor and do not take your child to an office where they lack compassion. Hopefully they read this review and retrain their staff. If you don't like your job get another one because working in a drs office you need to have more compassion then what I received. read more

After my previous experience I will mention that I spoke with the office manager who was extremely nice. My newest experience though. The providers are nice. Seriously. Reception is HORRIBLE. Recently my entire family was hit with a stomach virus. My poor son suffered as well. Because of hurricane Matthew I was unable to bring him until the Next day (Saturday 10/8) we saw Dr. Poole she seemed very nice but all she did was poke at his tummy & say it should pass by Wednesday. I told her he was vomiting since Tuesday. & WATERY diarrhea since Thursday. And because of this we found out he has lost 1/2 lbs since his last visit (a week before for his 9 month well baby) But she said it was going around and it was fine. He got worse on Sunday. All his symptoms cont. he wouldn't eat. He was nauseated. But I gave it a few days. Finally by Wednesday night it was still horrible I decided to make an appointment first thing (Thursday 10/13) we saw Dr. Mercado. My appointment was at 4:30. I didn't see him til 5:40. They do this. They overbook & send EVERYONE home around 430-5. & only have 1 provider so when they get backed us everyone suffers and waits. I won't lie he was extremely nice. & I was very frustrated with the wait. He assessed my son took a stool sample and attempted to get a urine sample (something that should've been done my 1st visit) stool would take a few days but the urine sample was unsuccessful. I ended up Leaving at 7. When they close. He was great but they schedule & overbook & it's unfair to the patients. read more

Staff is unprofessional, seem clueless to being able to handle patients, schedule, and office. Our appointment was at 830. We had received notifications confirming the time thru email and text. Once 905 arrived, I asked when we would be getting in. They informed me that, one they didn't know her time and then it had switched to 1030. There was no communication on this. That I could have dealt with, but with the chaos in the office, parents not wearing my masks, being loaded into a small space with over fifty people in it, was insane. I have never been to a doctors office where you question their abilities. Truly disappointing and feel awful parents who have to endure that much to have their child seen. Would not recommend for a human, a pet, or ones sanity. read more

My children see Dr. Poole. We have been to several pediatricians for our boys, who have emotional and behavioral issues. Dr. Poole is the first whom with I can sit down with and speak to her about our children's medicinal needs and feel like not only does she listen, she also takes the time to explain things to me. The staff has recently undergone a big transition and they are working hard to make things work for their clients. I have found the entire office to be very helpful and understanding. read more

ok so I originally gave this medical facility a bad review because of refusing to see my kids even though they've tested negative for covid. they did this to me THREE times. not once. not twice. THREE times. The office manager called me a few days ago and apologized and rescheduled my son's appointment. they call me 45 MINUTES BEFORE the appointment to CONFIRM. I arrive. the PROVIDER aka the doctor aka EUNUS or whoever that is a "licensed medical professional" will NOT see my kids based on the fact that my child tested negative for covid at THEIR facility in early August. I have NEVER seen a medical provider who is scared of treating WELL patients! for a physical! I will never ever ever recommend this pediatricians office again. I gave them another chance when they called and apologized but I won't again! fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. you don't deny my children medical care. I don't play games when it comes to their well-being!! You deserve ZERO stars!! read more

We were in the same boat as a previous post. When we moved from Orlando last year. I just happen to find them by accident and we were assigned to Dr. Poole on our first visit. She is literally the best Dr. anyone in our family has every had! She listens, and cares, and speaks to and explains things to my 12 year old daughter. She gives us as much time as we need in the room, answers all our questions and concerns and never rushes us. I am so happy to have her as my daughter Dr. Its very rare to find good Dr.'s these days that aren't just in it for the money and still care about their patients! Thank you Dr. Poole! Juky 2021..We are STILL FIGHTING COVID so with that said, every single parent that walked into that Premier should have had a mask on. I counted four different sets of parents without mask!. Kids over the age of two should be wearing a mask as well. This is a healthcare office, why wouldn't they do what they can to keep people healthy and safe? Waiting room chairs are pushed close together as if there's no pandemic. I was truly disappointed. Waiting outside is not an option there anymore. Aside from that the staff behind the counter is the most UNfriendly staff I've ever encountered!! at a peds office no less?!! PUT ON A SMILE AND GREET PEOPLE FOR GODS SAKE! We have been going there for four years now and I've had enough of their staff. also, doctors are on rotation so the chances of seeing the same doctor is not great. Every single time I brought my child to this office, I the doctor NEVER checks my child's heart with a stethoscope?! i actually have to ASK THE DOCTOR to do this??!! Dr Vaughn was our daughters primary pediatrician and we were very happy with the service and the treatment. Unfortunately, Vaughn retired and the individual whom resumed our appointments was less than par- she was not knowledgeable and we found her to be rude. Our last appointment, after waiting a half hour, we left. From when I checked in, checked back to see about our appointment, and finally to announce we were leaving, we received no customer service from the front desk workers. They were rude and indifferent, not evening looking up from their computers to acknowledge our issue. We also overheard loud and inappropriate language from the staff, which is concerning since the waiting room was full of children. The main doctor is nice and knowledgeable, but his most recent staff members are lacking in customer service. read more

When I moved back to Ocala 4 years ago, one of the hardest things was finding a doctor that would take my son with ADHD. When I found Dr. Eunus it was such a blessing. He has always taken the time to sit and answer any questions I have, and explain everything to me. I have never once felt rushed by him or felt like I was asking to many questions. I loved it at first then I started to notice how rude and impolite their staff members were. The receptionists talking about their lives and other unprofessional things instead of attending the person right in front of them. This happened so many times its not even funny, they had me waiting there for so long standing right in front of them with fuzzy babies. The doctors assistants who gave the shots holding down my kids like animals to give them the shots, almost getting on top oh them. My kids started crying way before the shot was inserted because of how bad they grabbed them. I finally decided to go to another doctor hopefully they'll do better. Staff does not know what how react to anything... after sticking my son's finger to draw blood (squeezing it so hard it turned black and blue the next day) he passed out and hit the wall with his head... the person that was taking the blood just looked at him like what should I do, then walked to the door and said could someone help, could someone help please, after a minute or 2 a RN walked in and then the person wanted to know if she should keep testing and said she was freaking out and didn't know if she could.. the RN said no get out of the room and put my son on the table and started a EKG and said he had heart problems and needed to call 911, the paramedics got there looked the EKG and said what's wrong with the EKG? The RN tried telling the EMT what happened getting the story wrong... so we went to the ER and found out nothing was wrong with the EKG and he was fine and needed to be looked at for hitting his head... The ER MD said it was not uncommon for some one to pass out after blood being taken and he was fine but needed a CT scan since he hit his head.... I feel this Drs office does not know what they are doing.. read more
