I heard we have a Chilangos in Nashville and I absolutely will have to try it! I loved the vibe of the Dallas location. It was so clean and the design was a perfect recipe to stay a while. I had the chicken tacos as well as queso and chips. It was so fresh! I'll be coming back!
I got the campechana quesadilla and the barbacoa taco with churros on the side. I thought everything tasted great and was reasonably priced. The salsa counter is a bit awkward- they should have cups to pour salsa into on the side. They also don't offer water cups which is annoying. The churros are great but the strawberry dipping sauce is very artificial. The inside is cute and clean but a little cramped.
While visiting the area, we looked up this spot and were pleasantly surprised. It's hard finding good tacos in Texas in comparison to Los Angeles and New York, but we have officially deemed this location our spot when in town. They are fast, clean and reasonable. The young lady was very kind taking my order and knowledgable about what I should order. My order: Chicken on Flour and Corn Carne Asada You visually see the machine used to make the corn tortillas rotating in the back. They have a churro station. They make everything in house and they salsa is on point! I was not a fan of the Carne Asada so the second visit I only ordered chicken; I felt it had more flavor. They do use a lot of packaging with their brand, being from Cali we are conditioned to recycle. My feedback is that it's unnecessary to have the boxes for two tacos. I think it's a waste and also on the environment. Foil would suffice. Otherwise, this is a Go for me!
Although the food's presentation left something to be desired, the meat's flavor was exceptional, perfectly complemented by hot sauce, cilantro, and onions. The takeout staff was warm and attentive, even adding extra cilantro upon request. Be prepared to wait in line at this cozy, hole-in-the-wall spot, and remember that parking is limited with only a few spots available. Despite its small size, the venue is notably clean.
Needed a quick bite while in the Dallas area and stumbled upon this little gem. I've been addicted to al pastor tacos lately and have been on the hunt for the best ones wherever I travel--and this place definitely did not disappoint. The service was wonderful. The cashier was incredibly sweet and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Now for the real star of the show: the tacos. They were presented beautifully and packed with flavor. The green salsa had a nice kick, while the red salsa brought some serious heat! Both paired perfectly with the tacos and really elevated the whole meal. If you're looking for great tacos in the area, I highly recommend giving this place a try.
The food was OK. It was a bit warm when I received it. They did forget my chips unfortunately and this was a Uber eats delivery. They did have good flavor. Maybe I would try in person next time.
If you're in the mood for tacos, this is the place to go! It was so good. I came back twice in one week. First time I got the carne asada quesadilla with Mexican coke and then the second time Barria tacos (weekend only!). The consommé it comes with.... Omg, gotta dip your tacos in that! It was soooo so good. What's great is that you can order at the cashier or order at the kiosk. There might be a tiny bit of a wait, but it's so worth the wait. Definitely my new fave spot for tacos.
I recently tried Chilangos Tacos for the first time. The atmosphere was cool the restaurant was nice. The service was decent but I just wish it was structured better. The food was lackluster. The Chicken Quesadilla was nothing more than a a huge taco. The peppers and onions were not good and not what I was expecting. It wasn't bad but I don't think this would be a place I would rush to go back to.
We had never been to a Chilangos Tacos before and didn't realize the kiosk was only for to-go orders but we were just too excited and ordered from it not knowing until others came in, walked past us and ordered further down. I assumed it was only for drinks but no bother, they weren't judgey and we just ate our DELICIOUS tacos at a nearby table (to prevent yourself from looking like a newb, don't order at the kiosk unless you plan on taking it to go). Regardless! The delicious street tacos were honestly the best I have ever had! Cheap, flavorful, and the most delicious tortilla? Seriously can't get any better - they came out so fast and a pinch of lime just pulls it all together. My hubby and I both got the steak tacos and it just hit the spot, best lunch by a long shot. Will definitely be back!

I ordered the Hongos Taco (left), Carne Asada Taco (right), Los Elotes, and a sangria margarita and baby, every single bite was a hit. Let's start with the **Hongos Taco**, because whew! That one stole the whole show. The mushrooms were perfectly seasoned, tender, and juicy with that rich, earthy flavor that makes you forget there's no meat involved. The texture, the seasoning, the balance it was giving *chef's kiss*. I could honestly eat a whole tray of those alone and be happy. The **Carne Asada Taco** was that classic done right flavorful, tender beef with just the right amount of char, layered with all the toppings that make it feel like comfort in a tortilla. Paired with the **Los Elotes**, which were creamy, cheesy, and perfectly seasoned, it all came together like the perfect meal. And that **sangria margarita**? The perfect way to tie it all together refreshing, fruity, and strong enough to let you know it's there without being over the top. Overall, Chilangos Tacos gave flavor, freshness, and vibes. The Hongos Taco alone is worth the trip, but honestly, everything I had hit the spot. 10/10 definitely adding this spot to my must-eat list.
The place is super cute, loud music, fun vibe, employees are killing it. They are jam packed and pumping out tacos left and right. Ordered To Go from the kiosk at the entrance. Took over 20 minutes to get my food. Was it worth the wait? Not sure. Everything was good, nothing stood out as amazing. I got the Birria quesadillas, hubs had a carne asada quesadilla on flour. Truthfully, I can get comparable food at Laredo taco across the street (7-eleven) with no wait. Both make tortillas fresh all day, and Laredo's portions are much bigger. It's pretty good, and by the looks of it, they'll do great in this location. But as for me, I'll be getting my taco fix across the street.
I absolutely love coming here. For someone who's always looking for good authentic Mexican food, this spot is my top favorites! You can tell they take their time cutting their ingredients, since it all taste fresh. They call your name when your food is ready and if you're a salsa or sauce person like me, there's a few options for salsa before you sit down and enjoy your tacos. I usually get 3 el pastor and 3 carne asada tacos (I could eat about 8) Carne Asada (Grilled Angus Steak): $3.50+ Calories: 120-140 Pastor (Marinated Pork): $3.50+ Calories: 150-200 The churros are well coated, I could eat maybe another basket of these. I usually spend $35+ plus drinks. I think it's a good deal for the size and amount of toppings it has. It gets so busy here during the weekends but the line goes quick, just a heads up on finding a seat. Overall, I love that it gives me home cooking vibes. read more
I love all kinds of TACOS! Steak, chicken, pork or shrimp. I am a huge fan of tacos. Call me a taco junkie. I will definitely have to go back and visit soon. As I have mixed feelings about my taco experience. I will need to sit down and dine in next time. This was a carry out order. They were super busy and all the tables were packed. What I can say is the Strawberry Margaritas are delicious. It was so refreshing and flavorful. 5 STARS The tacos were decent. I enjoyed the steak (carne asada) one the best. It was well seasoned, but seemed a bit chewy. The al pastor was a little bit disappointing to me. It lacked in flavor, but the pineapple on it was super sweet and yummy. I asked for extra onions and cilantro, but it didn't seem like I had extra of either. I like the option of the three sauces they provide: 3 STARS The service was excellent as the cashier was friendly, helpful and pleasant. The atmosphere is fun and vibrant. It's so cool and colorful. It's a lively vibe with good energy. It was clean inside. 4 STARS I really want to give the overall experience a 3.5. The drinks and ambiance saved the overall experience. The tacos were just ok. First time to this location, but I've previously visited other Chilangos locations in Dallas. Don't forget, birria tacos are only served on the weekends! It can be pretty busy depending on the time/day you visit, but it's well worth it. The food is chef's kiss! 14 photos should post with this review. read more

Food is great , the tacos are delicious! Place is somewhat small and sometimes you have to wait a bit for a table and parking is small too and crowded on weekends. But i highly recommend this place for people who want to try really delicious tacos! read more

I was very intrigued by the line to the register when I was walking up to the restaurant-- this place had to be good.. and it was. Some could say the tacos are maybe a tiny bit expensive but I think it's worth it for what you get. The tacos are well sized, packed with whatever meat you decided, and you have an option to add cilantro and onions on top. I'm not sure if this is true but the tortillas really taste handmade- very fresh and I like that they don't double layer it. That can get annoying at other restaurants. The restaurant is always busy (which is a good thing). I've come twice within the last week. I tried the tacos de pastor (amazing- probably the best I've had in a while) and the horchata was yummy too! The parking is tricky. They have to repaint the lines or something because that is something I don't look forward to when coming here. But 10/10 tacos & service for sure! read more

I love Chilangos. Small restaurant with big flavor. This location gets pretty busy and seating is limited, but everything is hot, fresh, and tasty. I wouldn't suggest you take a large party here due to the seating. Definitely give this place a try, you will not be disappointed. read more
We visited on their grand opening day and took advantage of the $1.50 taco deal, which allowed up to five tacos from their standard selection. We chose the al pastor and carne asada, both on corn tortillas. Unlike many street taco spots that fry their tortillas, this place served them as-is, which I appreciated since it removed the extra greasiness. The tacos were generously loaded with meat, and the fresh pineapple on the al pastor was a nice touch far better than the canned version that often makes tacos too soggy. They offered a small selection of salsas and a jalapeño option for added spice. I especially enjoyed the green salsa, which might have had avocado in it, though I'm not entirely sure. Service was impressively quick, keeping the line moving efficiently despite the grand opening buzz. On a regular day, I imagine the atmosphere would be less hectic, making it easier to savor the experience. Five tacos felt like a bit much for one sitting, and on regular days, they're priced at $2.50 each. I'd recommend sticking to three tacos to keep the meal more manageable and affordable. Otherwise, it could add up quickly if you're not paying attention to your order. read more
I have been to Chilangos a few times and each time has been really good. These are street tacos so know that going in. Please don't let that discourage you from visiting because they do a really good job. Typically I get the pastor and asada tacos. Great flavor and they also have dipping sauces that you can grab at the counter when you pick up your order. Like I said I have been here a few times and will continue to frequent when I am in the area. read more

Wowza this place was some kind of good! It's fun from the moment you walk in. The vibe is upbeat and festive. It is colorful with upbeat music playing. The employees have a good energy about them. Everyone wa friendly and helpful. The food was amazing. I have a theory that has never been wrong. If the chips and salsa are good then you have a great chance the rest of the food are going to be good! These chips and the salsa were really good! And so went the rest of the meal. I've been to the restaurant before, but it was my first time at this location. The line in the restaurant was a little long, so I decided to order on my phone and complete an order for pickup. It took about 15 minutes to get my food. The burria tacos were delicious. I love the spicy hot sauce. It comes in this cute box. Everything was individually wrapped - which was helpful and I love that the tortillas are made fresh. read more

This place gets my business at least three times a week. That's how good I find these tacos and they are very reminiscent of CDMX. I get hongos, and I can't get enough obviously because I ordered so much but they are good. I love the decor. I love taking a seat and just watching the relationship between service and customer. I love that people come in with their families and their friends and they just sit, eat laugh and enjoy their time. The line speaks for itself, so bring your patience and bring your manners. read more
