I was a little skeptical from the outside, but as soon as I stepped in the restaurant was very nice looking. I only saw one server/bartender for the entire restaurant, but it seemed like he was able to keep up with everyone and I had no issues with my service. The boneless wings were delicious. The breading and flavor was perfect and it had a ton of chicken inside. Drinks were also tasty! I would definitely come back here!! Looks like they have happy hour and specials depending on the day of the week as well.

My sister and her friends are UMass alumni and we went here for food after the homecoming football game (my first time here) and the vibes were amazing after the game. The food was so delicious too. For the table we got the garlic parmesan waffle fries (I def suggest ordering that) and I got a wrap with their golden BBQ chicken, pickles, lettuce, tomato, and bleu cheese with a side of fries. Pretty cute hole in the wall retro bar…read more They do a LOT of cute/cool event nights, Mini Hot Dog night, Hello Kitty night, Bob's Burgers night, Rocky Horror trivia...you name it. The night we finally went was for Zelda night. Knowing my boyfriend, we all know he mah be the biggest Zelda fan in western Massachusetts so obviously we had to go! They had one tabletop Zelda game in the facility, it would have been nice to have a few of them so more of us could play/immerse in the Zelda night. They also had Mario playing on the walls which threw me off a bit. There were free stickers all over the bar along with some "rupees" which was a cute touch. It was pretty easy to order the drinks and food, and the staff behind the counter were all very nice. We tried 2/3 drinks and enjoyed both of them. Two food options were made, Hearty Monster Rice Balls, and Meat Pies. The rice balls were honestly pretty good, nothing fancy but good. The Meat Pies filling was good, but the entirety of it was pretty greasy and oily which was a little disappointing. I do hope they do another Zelda night and offer more food options. If they do that, we will definitely go again!

I usually skip the pretzel, but I'm happy we got it because it was soft and had the perfect amount of salt. The nachos and burger took a super long time to come out. I think they were waiting to bring them out together, but that just led to soggy nachos and a lukewarm burger. The chips that weren't soggy were pretty good and the added chili was good for flavor. Drinks were good! I can't remember the specific one that I got but it was Apple flavored and perfect for the fall. They serve 32 ounce beer mugs and it was hilarious next to my tiny wine glass. I would check them out again if I were in the area and looking for this kind of atmosphere.

No reservations, so get there early! An automatic bonus star for original craft cocktails and dinner specials. I abhor restaurants that rely on staple meal choices, forgetting that people need variety from the ho hum they make at home ( or can make at home- like Wood and Tap. Boo.). I love a place like this where you can look at the menu and see at least two or three things that make you think "WOW, what will I choose?". The restaurant is very bright with many high top tables. It would have felt conspicuously weird to take photos in the full-capacity situation we were in. There's also a gentleman playing acoustic guitar and singing Christmas music. Nicely done, with a professional voice and playing style. I would say, the only downside was that there didn't seem to be a consistency of how people were waiting on tables, so simple things like a set of silverware missed at our table, and then somebody brought a set and didn't bring napkins. Then one of us received the completely wrong meal and we had a delay in getting it corrected while we were already on a tight schedule with the other flubs to make the show on time. It was scattered issues like that all night that kept this from being a five star experience. It

HOWEVER...I've been to Gigantic at least three times now and I have to admit that going out of your way is worth it. The drink list is not huge, but it's never boring, changes often enough to keep me interested, and I don't recall getting anything less than excellent. If they're willing to do a "bartender's choice" type thing (I haven't tried), I might have to go even more often. To address some of the things that others mentioned: Yes, it's small, but lots of good places are. Yes, the drinks take awhile, but I don't know of ANY high-end cocktail place that can cranks them out. Get over it and enjoy your time there. I've never experienced rude or pretentious (anymore than that are always is) service, but that would annoy me. The server/bartender has always been quite nice to my friends and me. I also checked out their list of vintage liquors last time I was there. I didn't try any (because money) but the fact that they have them at all is impressive.

What we did like was the old school music, vintage feel that took on the vibes of an antique shop (it was fun to look around), and the intimate setting. The cocktails were really good and creative with a menu that updates frequently and featured some classics as well. The cocktails were a bit pricey for what you got and for the area, the snack options were very limited and overpriced, and service was very slow despite few people being in the bar. We had to ask to be served and waited over 15 minutes for the check. We are glad we checked out Gigantic and would not recommend going out of your way for it as there are other great cocktail bars in neighboring towns.
