I usually skip the pretzel, but I'm happy we got it because it was soft and had the perfect amount of salt. The nachos and burger took a super long time to come out. I think they were waiting to bring them out together, but that just led to soggy nachos and a lukewarm burger. The chips that weren't soggy were pretty good and the added chili was good for flavor. Drinks were good! I can't remember the specific one that I got but it was Apple flavored and perfect for the fall. They serve 32 ounce beer mugs and it was hilarious next to my tiny wine glass. I would check them out again if I were in the area and looking for this kind of atmosphere.

They've got a HUGE variety of local draft craft beers, which is truly awesome! The prices are great- really can't be beat, around $4 for local drafts. Also, they've got a great Irish whiskey selection. The bartenders are attentive and quick. The Sunday night bartender (my memory's failing- forgot her name) is my absolute favorite. Great personality and she always remembers me (now I feel bad). But honestly the best part?? Peppas is attached. Whiskey, beer, and pizza? YES. My only complaint is that some nights it gets packed with college kids and I'm not a higher fan of that. Other wise great!

This place was amazing and I'll tell you why... Atmosphere/Appearance: This place is inside the MGM Grand Casino in Springfield so you know it'll be classy. It was chill, relaxed and really easy going. I loved how we could just sit at the bar, play some video poker, sip and have great conversation with others around you. Service: Excellent. We were first greeted by an awesome young lady. I forget her name, but I'll never forget her tattoo. It was Disneyland, but like, zombie versions. Lol. It was the coolest thing and I believe she called it "Death Disney". Wild, but cool. I do however remember Bryan, Cassie and Aiden! Aiden looks like Bruno Mars, Cassie was really sweet and Bryan... well, Bryan was just damn awesome. He chatted with us, told us his story and how he preferred to make drinks... craft style instead of your normal cookie-cutter style cocktails. So some of the drinks I had weren't even on the menu, but came out of his head. Make sure you go see him. For real. Food: Well, they don't serve food here, so we drank! I started off with some wine... you know, some Pinot Noir, 2 glasses to be precise. Then as I loosened up I started getting adventurous. Hennessy is always delicious, but he fun part is when we got Bryan excited! He likes to create and make drinks so I told him to use his imagination and make me a drink with 219 parts. I was obviously joking, but he answered the call! He came through with a Sidecar at first. A Sidecar is basically cognac, orange liqueur and lemon juice. He stuck with the dark liquor theme since I was already drinking dark. He added his own twist and it was delicious, served with this hilariously big ice cube in it. I loved it. Next was the Old Fashioned. It's made with muddled sugar, (which I watched him do), bitters and whiskey with some citrus zest! Another hit! This dude is legit. Like I said, go see that man. Like I said earlier, I want to drive all the way to MGM just to come hang out at this place. I had that much of a good time there. I will be back.

Traveling through the area and figured this could be a good spot to watch the Super Bowl. It didn't hurt they advertised free wings and pizza at half time cause it seems they recently changed ownership. Unfortunately, service was lacking if you weren't at the bar. We weren't offered a drink menu, often had to wave someone down to get an order taken, and the food was disappointing. The pickle chips were ok, nachos had stale chips and olives when we asked for them to be removed, and even some of the cocktails were almost too strong. The free wings and pizza were never mentioned by the waitress - the staff just set up a small self-serve hot food area and by the time we figured it out, everything had been taken by other patrons.

I was a little skeptical from the outside, but as soon as I stepped in the restaurant was very nice looking. I ordered the chicken schnitzel with a side of spatzel and house made apple sauce. I was served a lightly breaded pounded chicken breast that was as big as a trash can lid and carefully placed over fresh spatzel that were kissed by the flat top. I gave it my best but it was like wire clothes hangers... it just multiplied. I didn't even make a dent in the heaping pile of lusciousness. The entree was perfectly seasoned- I am not sure why there were salt and pepper shakers on the table. The applesauce kept up its lift as a wonderful side and not an afterthought. It was just sweet enough to harmoniously complement the entree production. All I could think about was that movie The Flamingo Kid were the lead, Clark Brandon, hummed while he chewed good food.
