I'm always looking for quality and value without paying unnecessary markups, and this outlet center has been a very reliable place to find both. I needed professional clothing, shoes, and luggage for work, so I made the drive out here--and I found everything I needed in one trip. One of my best purchases was a beautiful piece of luggage from Travelpro at a great price. Many of the stores also offer additional discounts if you sign up for their rewards programs, which can make the savings even better. Stores I frequent most: * Banana Republic * J.Crew * Ann Taylor * LOFT * Saks Off 5th * Old Navy (very large location with great basics) * Le Creuset -- always fun to browse, even if just window shopping If you have the time to look carefully and shop strategically, you can really find high-quality items here at excellent prices. My personal shopping strategy: * I avoid weekends whenever possible * I park near the Saks entrance, especially along the back row where it's easier to remember where you parked * I shop during off-hours for a calmer, more efficient experience Parking overall is plentiful, and the layout is easy to navigate once you learn your preferred entry point. Another thing I appreciate is the atmosphere. In my experience, the staff across stores have been knowledgeable, polite, and helpful. The overall vibe feels practical and approachable--people are there to shop, not to show off. There are also plenty of restaurants and fast-casual options nearby, so it can easily become a full outing. If you're planning a larger shopping trip, using store hold or will-call services can be a smart way to keep your purchases secure while you continue browsing. As someone who pays attention to value and cost of living, I've found shopping in North Carolina--and the Southeast in general--to be refreshingly affordable compared to the West Coast. That difference alone makes places like this especially worthwhile. Bottom line: Easy parking, strong value, and a wide selection of reliable brands. If you shop strategically and avoid peak times, this outlet center can be a very productive and enjoyable place to find quality items at fair prices.

I don't really think of this as an outlet mall because the prices aren't cheaper than premium…read moremalls. However, I do like the variety of stores and in my case the only osh kosh and carter kids clothing stores in the area. There are multiple parking lots so finding a space has never been an issue. I came during thanksgiving/christmas and the decorations are very nice. They have signage for a variety of holiday events happening (pics of your dog and Santa etc). There is a food court, shake shack, and Starbucks. My kids love the small play structure. It is very small and probably only entertaining for kids 4 and younger. I appreciate the clean bathrooms inside the food court- especially the family restrooms which has a small toilet for kids.

I used to work at a full line Nordstrom years ago, so I know quality when I see it. That's why I love the Rack because you can always expect good brands at better prices than you'd find at the full line store. To some people, Nordstrom Rack still feels a little pricey for a discount store, but you really have to compare it to the original full line price tags. I live in the NoDa area, and I will say this location was a bit farther out than I expected, about 25 minutes from my house. I was honestly surprised that there isn't a Nordstrom Rack closer to the city. This one is more on the outskirts, which is fine, but it does make quick trips or exchanges a little less convenient. Yes, you can return items at the full line Nordstrom, but sometimes you just want to browse and see what's new. Parking here was easy, and the store itself was clean and well organized. Coming from Houston and then Florida, I wasn't used to seeing so many coats in stock, so that actually caught my attention. They had a big winter selection, and I ended up leaving with a super cute trench coat, a puffer jacket, and a couple of other cold weather pieces since I know Charlotte winters are going to be colder. The staff was about as friendly as you'd expect at a Nordstrom Rack, but they moved quickly, and the checkout line wasn't long. Overall, this location was consistent with the other Nordstrom Racks I've been to. No surprises, just the usual dependable Rack experience. I'd definitely return.

The store was very well stocked and clean. You didn't see much on the ground from items knocked down. The items I found were priced very well. No complaints. There was so much variety here that you could spend a lot of time in this store. Upon checking out, I was greeted by a young lady. She asked me about opening a store credit card and I told her no thank you. Her demeanor changed, lol! I mean I'm sorry that I don't shop here often enough but also store credit cards are too limiting! But anywho...nice experience here and I would return.

I love this store!…read more But I didn't have the best customer service experience today. That's why I took 1 star off. Lois was not as friendly as her coworkers. She counted my items that I wanted to try on. I've never had that happen at any location in NC. She didn't ask how anything fitted, and she refused to do a price check on an item after I asked several times. She had difficulty totaling my transaction and the manager came to assist her. Then she tried to give me a compliment on what I was purchasing. I ignored it. Of course this interaction will not stop me from coming to my favorite store, I will not have Lois assist me ever again.

His name was Brandon and he answered all my questions and didn't make me feel that I was annoying him. When I was checking out, he happened to be the cashier for me. He was very pleasant and friendly. There was trouble with the register trying to accept my merchandise credit so he had to do another transaction on a different register. He took the time to do all that and didn't seem annoyed by it. In fact, he kept apologizing to me for having to wait so long. It finally worked. His attitude was wonderful and he was so sweet. In addition to Hanes, you'll find Playtex and L'eggs and other brands here as they're all under the same umbrella. They were LITERALLY ON MY HEELS! To the point that I actually addressed them and said, "I am not a thief. There is ABSOLUTELY no reason to follow me around the store. They turned red and then wanted to ask if I needed help. ARE YOU SERIOUS?! They didn't have the Rouge 39, but Chris was very helpful and friendly at checkout. I spent almost $300 on a purse, perfume and wristlet. Chris apologized for the experience and said they don't profile. However, I beg to differ. I'm giving two stars for Chris and her customer service. Otherwise, it would have been zero stars if I could.
