I'm not a big sando person, but I DO appreciate a good Chicken Salad Sandwich now and then...so I met up with my buddy for lunch. The place was brightly decorated with a cute motif (Cute Chick!), seemingly clean and very inviting. I tried their "Fancy Nancy" Chicken Salad Sandwich with Broccoli Salad...and added Sea Salt Chips. This Choose Your Combo Lunch Special was priced very friendly (less than 10 bucks!)...and they threw in a Pickle, and even a cute cookie. In any case, I thought it was a great tasting chicken salad...and quite value packed. The reason I'm deducting a star is that their soup machine wasn't working...so we didn't get to choose from their 3 soups. We both vowed to return and try other items on the menu. Placed an order through DoorDash. Was missing 2 items that left me unable to eat & enjoy my food- at no fault of DoorDash. Tried to get a refund through DoorDash and wasn't pleased with it. I then tried to call the store to speak to a manager and not a single person could pick up the phone any of the 3 times I called. Great chicken salad- horrible employees and guest experience! What a disappointment. $14.00 for a sandwich and 2 sides. My sandwich was supposed to be no lettuce and it had lettuce on it. I was in Rock Hill SC this weekend( Feb, 28 2026) so I decided to go to Chicken Salad Chick. I love the chicken salad and always go when I am in Florida. But this time the salad was not good, more bread than salad Fancy Nancy). I could not taste the fruit or nuts and know raisins. This is one of my go to places. You can get a great salad with chicken salad on top. I'm gluten intolerant so it's a great place for me to eat. But no more! They discontinued salads. I don't understand why they would do that. I saw quite a few people with scoops of chicken salad on their plates. My guess would be they would love to have them scoops on top of a salad. This chicken salad place is excellent. They have a great selection of unique chicken salads and sides as well. Grape salad and broccoli salad are my favorites as well as the potato soup. Kickin kay lynn is my favorites chicken salads i get a scoop and eat it with crackers. They also give you a pickle and a delicious cookie with your order! They are always friendly and fast in their drive thru. One of these days i will try more of the chicken salad flavors! read more

Our regular to go order at the Herlong Ave location is a large pimento cheese and a large chicken salad. When I got home, I noticed the chicken salad was much more runny than normal. I think extra mayonnaise must have been added. I returned the chicken salad and asked to exchange it. The General Manager flat out refused to exchange or refund my money. In addition, she was very rude and kept interrupting me. I asked her politely to please let me speak but she would not. She also accused me of always complaining which I do not know where that came from. We have been a regular customer of this store since it opened and until this incident have always been pleased. Her behavior towards me was unacceptable. I can only assume she must have been having a very bad day as I don't think behavior like she demonstrated would be accepted as the norm. Very good chicken salad! Done just right! I tried the Sassy Scotty Chicken salad on a croissant with chips and a pickle. Has ranch, cheddar cheese and bacon mixed in. Just the right balance! Went inside to order and not one person in restaurant. I stood at the counter for about 8 minutes and someone came from the back. I told him I wanted to place a to go order. I ask him for a large Chicken Salad and he ask me if I look on the self. I informed him I did. Then he looked. I asked for potato soup. He told me they were out. I asked for croissants and they were also out. He was rude and just on this side from being a A@@ H@@@. It would be nice if they would answer the phone. I've been to this location a couple of times recently & had very good experiences. Food-Sooo delicious! Fresh, fresh, FRESH ingredients!!! You can definitely taste that everything is fresh and prepared "in house". I asked if the chicken salad was really all white meat. "Yes! Fresh, whole tenderloins. Prepared everyday in house. We don't even have a freezer". WHAT?!? OK! That's what I'm talken bout!! But I'm sad they took the "dill" chick salad off menu. I know it's a seasonal flavor, but it's one of my favorites & I wish they'd make it a permanent flavor! They have added a seasonal soup that almost makes up for it...Chicken Poblano! OH MY!! Ordering at the drive through was super challenging. There was someone there to take my order and then a full minute lull in the middle of my order. It's like she got distracted. There wasn't anyone in line! I had to repeat myself all over again once I finally asserted to see if anyone was there. Definitely need to work on customer service. Food was nothing special and the service was very disappointing! To begin with, ordering my food was apparently complicated. I wanted to order two different sandwiches, the turkey club and the seasonal deck the holly. It took the clerk at the window about three minutes to discuss with management whether or not I could just order the club sandwich without it being part of a combo. Who knew that a fast food place could not sell just a sandwich! Apparently that's how their system works ‍. After I agreed to just order the combo with chicken tortilla soup, I asked if I needed to order another combo for the deck the holly. Surprisingly I didn't! I also referenced the picture and asked if the holly came with lettuce and tomato. I was reassured that it did, so I placed my order.
