My husband finally said, "It's fine," and she replied, "I'll just take it off the ticket." I was a server for 5 years. Your entire job is serving people and taking care of customers. Mistakes happen, but not caring is unacceptable. I tip well when people try. Today, I left $0 because the complete lack of concern was impossible to ignore. The fries were barely warm, the burger looked like it had been sitting for a while, and part of the order was missing. I returned to the counter again to have the missing item replaced.
