Our most recent visit was for lunch on 4/11/2025, and it was excellent, just like the other visits. I had the fish special: two pieces of cod, fries, and a couple of hush puppies. There are plenty of places where you can get catfish, but not many that serve good cod filets. My fish was delicious. It was hot, crispy, and the two good-sized pieces were all I needed for lunch, especially with fries. Parking can be challenging, so keep that in mind. Other than that, if I am looking for fried fish and chips, Zeke's is the top of my list.

Sat quickly, the overall vibe of the location is fine, It's sort of giving the PE cookie cutter restaurant vibe, but it was clean and well put together so I'm really just being picky. I ordered the Tricky Fish (blackened). Presentation was good, the fish was cooked beautifully, the étouffée was a nice touch and the dirty rice was legitimately very good. The one big detractor was that everything on the plate was over salted. Service was good. Waiter was attentive and polite, food came out quickly. Overall, I'd come back, but it's not the top of my list.

The Scotch Egg was just like I remember in Scotland (so much better than the "other" local British pub!). The Fish & Chips-YUM. The chips (fries) were addictive. I couldn't stop shoveling them in. The Beef & Ale Stew was really flavorful. Our only complaint was the vegetarian waitress that had all the personality of a wet rag. She lacked menu knowledge, a voice, common courtesy and a smile. She was prompt. The Manager and other waitress were darling. The place was cute, teeny and a little warm for a 90* day.

The fish and chips were okay, nothing special. However the build yourself hamburger was very well cooked and the grilled onions tasty. The service by the two young girls was fair.

I do have some dependable favorites, but also try at least one item from the seasonal/regional menu. This visit, I came for a steak, but looked at the regional menu and saw the tri-tip and was intrigued. The meal was great! The meat was tender with good flavor, and the chimichuri sauce was good as well. (I like a solid traditional one a little more, but still good). The beans were very flavorful! I wanted more and almost ordered some to go. I also got some truffle parm fries before since the were on sale for happy hour. Great prices for being taken care of and having a dependably delicious meal!
