10 piece chicken. Half lemon pepper dry & half mild with fries with added seasoning.
Richille U.

My husband and I randomly went here and I would def recommend it. There's not much seating but We took our food to go. It feels like a hole in the wall type place, somewhere people wouldn't think to get great quality chicken (at least this is what I thought as I passed it the first couple of times). It's so casual. It's always pretty busy when we're there but we never wait too long. The service was pretty good. Their wings, fries, tea and lemonade are so good! I'm terrible - I can't recall what my husband got but we've been there three times & each time both of us enjoyed our food.

Burnt tenders

One question, when was the last time you cleaned your fryer grease? I ordered the 5 piece tenders and they had burnt crumbs from all of the other things that's been fried for days. First and last time visiting a chicken exit. I had never seen one before and wanted to check it out and it left a bag burnt taste in my mouth.

I'm usually pleased with the food from Chicken Exit. I bought fish and salad from here for the first time in a long time. I've never really cared for the chicken but the fish was always amazing! Now I won't be back for fish!!! I almost had to use a spoon to pick it up. The breading was falling off and the fish crumbled between my fingers, almost as if it was thawed in hot water. It was horrible!!!!! I'll go get Arby's as my husband suggested next time.

Chicken fried rice, honey garlic chicken wings, chicken tenders, lemon pepper wings, fries

I am surprised I haven't done a review on this place but this spot is my go to chicken spot over all the wing places in Clarksville. It is a hole in the wall spot and the first time a chicken joint served fried rice. I always order chicken and butterfly shrimp but this time i gave the fried rice a shot. This place can get busy so i would call ahead and everytime it's a max of no more than 15 min wait. I never got my food more than 15 min. The chicken fried rice.... I can see why it's ordered a lot. IT IS GOOD!!! I will order it from here on out. It taste better than 99% of the Asian restaurants here. The honey garlic wings are my favorite. It is my go to wings. The chicken tenders are super juicy. I added the honey garlic flavor and it was . The lemon pepper wet was okay. I wasn't a fan of it but it was flavorful. The fries, they don't salt them but however, they have fries seasoning when you pick up your food so you can season them as much as you want. Highly recommended. The peach juice is good too. This is the spot of all spots.

Stopping here for supper, first there were the dark bathrooms that wouldn't light. Along with that electrical issue, an ear-splitting and head jarring smoke or other alarm went off every few minutes for about 15 minutes. Order taking was interrupted often when the counter employee shifted to incoming phone calls. That employee didn't know pulled chicken portion sizes in ounces and approximated with his hands. All of this created a dubious dining experience before we even finished ordering! This spot offers a variety of chicken recipes: roasted, BBQ, Caribbean, pulled, fried, and more. Sides includes Southern standards like mac and cheese, yellow rice, greens, coleslaw, and others. The pulled (shredded) chicken was overly seasoned with black pepper. Roasted chicken was a bit dry. The BBQ chicken laden with sweet sauce was the best of the chicken choices. Creamy coleslaw was 'meh' and lacked flavor. Rice, too, was just okay. Northern beans were nicely seasoned and well cooked. Pita triangles seemed an odd accompaniment since no sauce or dip was provided and they were too small to make sandwiches. Overall, the restaurant seemed understaffed, which could account for the messy tables and dirty floor.

My recent experience eating a burger there was nothing short of a revelation in late-night comfort food. From the very first glance to the final bite, the burger delivered an extraordinary combination of flavor, texture, and structural ambition that completely redefined my expectations of what a great burger could be. To look at a Fat Shack burger is to understand the concept of maximum indulgence. The restaurant is famous for its over-the-top combinations, and the burger reflects this philosophy perfectly. The presentation was unapologetically massive, featuring perfectly seared beef patties peeking out from beneath a curtain of melted American cheese. What truly sets their burgers apart, however, is the creative inclusion of classic finger foods packed directly into the bun. Seeing onion rings, french fries, and chicken tenders stacked seamlessly on top of a burger patty created an immediate sense of anticipation. It was a visual promise of a meal that would be both incredibly filling and profoundly satisfying. That visual promise was fulfilled the moment I took my first bite. The texture profile of the burger was an absolute triumph of culinary engineering. In a standard burger, you expect a simple contrast between a soft bun and a juicy patty. At Fat Shack, every bite offered a complex symphony of crunches. The exterior crispiness of the chicken tenders and the snap of the golden onion rings contrasted beautifully with the tender, juicy yield of the beef. Rather than becoming a chaotic mess, the individual elements worked together harmoniously. The soft, toasted brioche bun held the towering creation together, acting as a sturdy vehicle for the marvelous structural chaos within. Flavor-rich and deeply satisfying, the taste profile was a masterclass in savory balance. The beef patties were seasoned perfectly, offering a rich, smoky foundation. The melted cheese wrapped around the extra toppings, ensuring that no single ingredient dried out the palate. Tangy barbecue sauce and a smear of signature Shack Sauce cut through the heavy, savory notes, providing a vital hit of acidity and sweetness that kept the palate engaged. Instead of overwhelming the senses, the combination of fries, tenders, and beef created a deeply comforting blend of flavors that felt familiar yet entirely fresh. Ultimately, the Fat Shack burger proved to be a spectacular success because it embraced boldness without sacrificing quality. It successfully transformed a collection of beloved comfort foods into a cohesive, delicious masterpiece. The meal was more than just a quick fix for a craving; it was a memorable sensory experience defined by rich flavors and incredible textures. For anyone seeking a dining experience that is genuinely satisfying and delightfully over-the-top, the Fat Shack burger stands as a definitive triumph in the world of casual dining.

My wife came out after I had already ordered and told me that there was no soap or paper towels and the bathroom was gross. Since we already paid at the counter we went ahead and got seated, and I was praying that the employees had a different bathroom and the kitchen was clean. I went to the men's room and it was no better. The urinal was taped up with plastic and the toilet was soiled. There was a plunger lying on the floor covered in dried up paper towels that were previously wet. A similar substance was around it on the dirty floor. The food was ok, a cheesesteak with a bunch of stuff in it, but I was just thinking maybe we should've just left or asked for a refund. After a few hours had passed I thanked God that I wasn't suffering from any symptoms. I do not recommend this establishment.
