Thinking they might have been shorthanded but those who were on staff were very attentive. It was a pre-graduation snack for a niece at Purdue. It was just the right amount of food to then go and watch a ceremony. My niece and her mom and another aunt went afterwards to go grab some sort of dessert layered in a glass. It looked really good, but it was too much for me at the moment. Definitely good flavors!! Clean and open concept restaurant. It was efficient.

It is a smart setup, both cash with the human or card at the screen to order. Parking is a problem with all the construction. I recommend parking back in the big lot near Buffalo Wild Wings. Hope to see more menu options show up soon, treat gluten free, offer pressure cooked nutrient conscious, and show off more veggies in the batter. Kuma is one of the places I'll recommend to all!

We got boneless and classic bone in. Mango habanero boneless was pretty good. Not very spicy though. The garlic Parmesan boneless were by far the best boneless I've ever had. Chicken was tender and moist. The breading was nice and had a crunch to it. Amazing. Now the bone in wings with Louisiana rub.. very blah. The seasoning was incredibly low key. Not the best. The wing quality left something to be desired. It seemed good initially, but some of the chicken was fatty and chewy. The voodoo fries were amazing as well. The seasoning and sauce mix was delicious. I'm ready to try more flavors, but I'm always getting the voodoo fries and probably the garlic parm boneless

I took the order home and devoured it. The fries were still warm and crispy, the sandwich delectable, and the pies hot and crisp. Fried chicken, (specifically non-breasts because yeah, breasts taste like nothing) should taste amazing with no sauce. Harold's chicken was cooked crispy and was good quality but tasted like nothing. Just nothing. I did get their hot sauce and that sauce is very good. Of course the chicken tasted good with hot sauce. The fries were just ok. I arrived a bit after normal lunch hours, so was not too upset I had to wait 20 minutes for them to fry my chicken. You may want to call ahead. The restaurant itself is pretty dumpy from its Cozy Tavern days. And it was about 60 degrees in there on a nice spring day. The AC was full blast and I could not eat in the restaurant. It may sound crazy, but if you want some really good fried chicken, try the Krispy Krunchy Chicken gas station restaurant chain. There is no sign that says 'ORDER HERE' so you have to figure that part out by yourself. The staff member that eventually greeted us was polite and patient with us as she explained the menu. We were not sure about what sauces we wanted so she was able to give us a sample of the mild sauce. It tastes alot like Arby's sauce. We each ordered the 4 piece chicken tenders dinner that comes with fries, coleslaw, and a piece of bread. They have bottled drinks available such as soft drinks and PowerAde. A 20oz soft drink bottle costs $1.89. While we waited for our order, there were multiple people that showed up for Carry Out orders and they took multiple orders over the phone. Our food came out and in the sack included salt/pepper and a plastic fork/knife combo. There are napkins on the table butt no ketchup or other sauces. I looked, but did not ask, for ketchup and did not see it anywhere. Our chicken tenders portions were very large, thick and juicy. They are served on top of the fries and the bread. There was not a lot of sauce in the tenders n The slaw comes in a 2oz plastic cup. We both are two of our tenders and the fries. We saved the other two for a snack later because we were full. My wife wanted sauce to go for later. She asked the woman at the register and we were charge $0.55 for a cup to go. That seemed kind of much for sauce to go, but we paid it. Overall, the food was excellent and reheated well. An update to the inside of the restaurant is certainly needed, but other than the party of 10 that arrived to have a birthday party as we were leaving; most of the business was CARRY OUT. So far , Harold's has the best chicken tenders in townn
