    Tenderloin wrap

First time here and it did not disappoint. We tried the fried pickles, margaritas and the tenderloin wrap. The tenderloin wrap was no joke! Encrusted in a layer of cheese, we absolutely will be back for this.

Absolutely awesome place to stop in for my sister's birthday! The staff were so awesome and super friendly. They bought my sister any drink from the bar she wanted and then brought out ice cream. The food was super fresh and delicious! Would eat here again. Thank you for a great evening!

Overpriced. I get it's tough times but this food didn't taste that great - it just wasn't worth the 14.35 I had to spend on it. It's was meh. Maybe 8 buck meal tops. That said, the only waitress who also serves as the bartender at this small, homey - a bit seedy but comfortable - place was super kind and great with customers. So good hospitality and a lot of regulars I think. But I won't be becoming one.

Get the KillerLoin! You won't be sorry. It's iconic Indiana. Add some onion rings for the true experience.

Went for just appetizer with friends and both were delicious. Friends had chicken wings and we had onion rings. Both cooked to perfection.

Never disappointed in the food. Killer loins are huge in size and flavor. Catfish is definitely the best in the area.

We LOVE the broasted chicken. Catfish is also a very popular entree. Great onion rings. Service is variable but mostly pretty good.

We were celebrating our anniversary so it was a special night for us. Our waitress was super but stretched thin so she wasn't as attentive as she probably was on another night. This is a very upscale place. Decor and service reflect that. Good old fashioned steakhouse vibe. Oysters Rockafeller were perfect. Bread was fresh and absolutely delicious. He had American Wagyu Ribeye. I had Steak Oscar. Both were cooked appropriately. Maybe slightly under seasoned as we both added salt which is not typical for us. The Old Fashioned was really good and they had a wide selection of wine/beer and a handful of specialty cocktails. Our 2nd round of drinks was comped due to slow service at the bar and dessert was on the house for our anniversary which we really appreciated. We will definitely go back and try other things on the menu. Our steaks were good but I wouldn't say they were worth the price. $110 for his and $80ish for my Oscar. It was a filet with truffled hollandaise sauce and a scant amount of King Crab. They no longer serve King Crab due to the cost. Strange. If we would pay $110 for a steak why wouldn't we pay for King Crab due but that was a minor detail. I wouldn't say have preferred more crab...give me snow crab. The dessert was delightful. Baked Alaska served table side with plenty of rum. Thank you for making us feel valued and special!

Last time I got the lobster bisque and it may have been the best I've ever had. I ordered it again and it was terrible. Just terrible. Tasted kind of bitter and was much too dark for a lobster bisque. The side dishes are enormous and they were all ok. The charred broccoli is an entire stalk thrown on a grill. Char on outside, raw on inside. Lovely. My American Wagyu bone-in strip was good, though it tasted no different than prime meat and did cost $95. I would have hoped for better than just 'good'. Family enjoyed most items. I sampled the wedge and really liked that. Probably best part of the meal. Oysters were excellent. Drinks are always good here. They have upgraded their rum list and have some high quality ones now. That's great! Service is always top notch. I will definitely be back for happy hours. The food at this restaurant is good. But when 2 adults and 3 kids drop $800 on a meal, it really ought to be fantastic, not just good.

The restaurant is huge. There is a full bar with seating. There are a couple of televisions above the bar to watch. There is also a decent-sized dining are in the bar area and a larger, separate dining area just off of the dining area. The staff there were friendly. This pub has a country, downhome feel. They serve pub style food, including steaks, burgers, salads, soups, fish, tenderloins, wings, pasta, fish and chips and meatloaf. Additionally, they have a full-service bar with signature cocktails. Be on the lookout for their daily specials. I got me a Popper Burger with a side of fries. It took about 15 minutes for me to get my food, and it was very delicious. It was fresh, hot and flavorful. I highly recommend checking out this hidden gem. They have some savory drinks and delicious food.

My family was making a trip from Indianapolis to Michigan so we added this restaurant as a stop on the way back since it's conveniently located just a few minutes off of l-65. It looked small at first but there's actually two dining rooms in addition to the really long bar area. My mom of course got the obligatory breaded tenderloin since we are in Indiana. The size was perfect (the size of two sandwiches and not the size of a whole dinner plate) and thought it was delicious. My brother enjoyed and promptly wolfed down his loaded Mac and cheese. I opted for the loaded fries since they were smothered in pulled pork, beer cheese, and fresh jalapeños. The accompanying cole slaw was delicious, but very sweet. The pulled pork was super tender and delicious. It was good, but honestly the best bite I had was the tomato I stole off my mom's tenderloin. It was the freshest tomato I've had in probably years. All of the food is grown on the owner's family farm in the nearby town of Reynolds which I'm assuming is a big part of their recent recognition. It was fairly busy on a Friday around noon. There were a few groups of people in on their lunch break and a few families. They also had several online orders as well. The servers were friendly and quick.

The entrance on the side of the building can be tricky to notice, so don't blink, otherwise, you might miss it. Since I'm not from Lafayette, I looked it up ahead of time on Google Maps and zoomed in to see exactly where it was. The restaurant is medium-sized and kept clean, with generous portion sizes. I ordered an Impossible burger with fries, which was fine. My friends ordered shrimp linguine, which they enjoyed, while another friend got gyros fries and nachos; she thought her meal was just okay. Overall, my experience was average, but everyone around us seemed to be enjoying their meals. If you're in the area, I would recommend checking it out, it's worth a try!

We had the grinder and the fried chicken sandwich. The grinder had great flavor. The fried chicken breast sandwich is brined and the meat has a pink hue that has caused some people to think it's not cooked thoroughly. But that is not correct according to the restaurant. It's due to the brining process for the chicken. The prices were good. The service was good. The not so good, the fries are hand cut and thin. They would have been great except they were lukewarm and seemed to have been sitting out awhile. The onion rings were terrible. Also hand cut but the breading fell off all the onions. They did not have good flavor either. I recommend coming into the building by Nom Nom if you have people who have trouble with stairs. The other entrance has two steps but there's no railing. My 81 year old mother had trouble with that. We learned of the other entrance and used that one when we left.
