Came here 11 minutes before closing after refusing to pay $12 for a slice of pizza at the DCU center and had a once in a lifetime experience. Never in all my years of asking for extra pickles on everything has anyone asked "how many"... to which I answered "ten"... and was further asked at the window, "twenty total? For each sandwich? Or just the one?" "Just the one" And they put 20, on the one. Shedding tears of joy. Caleb on the drive thru is a real one, and ole girl at the window for asking if I wanted 20. No idea why this Chick-fil-A does not have the best reviews. Went in today for lunch with my mother and although a very long line, it was most efficient. While dining in, several employees came over to ask if we needed anything else. At the end of the meal, someone came over and cleared our trays. Another employee came over with samples of brownie or cookie to offer us. While we were sitting, we saw several employees, cleaning tables, and vacuuming under tables. The bathrooms were spotless and the floor was clean. This is the best Chick-fil-A I've ever been to. And yes, it was very crowded with many takeout orders in a line. It cleared out very fast from many people during lunch hour. With the long line, they did have an employee taking the orders, and then you continued to pay, similar system to their drive thru. I have no idea why this place has a low score... The food I ordered for myself and my grandson came out perfectly... We dined inside. We encountered very friendly staff who came by and asked if everything was OK and if they could refill my soda... I am currently on weight watchers and saved up all my weekly points to attend chic fil a. i ordered my meal and oh what do you know??? there was hair EVERYWHERE. in my drink AND inside my french fries. so upsetting. I will not be back. I also want to mention that the first meal i received wasn't even mine. luckily, the kind man who own this meal was standing next to me, although he seemed sad as-well. very terrible experience. Every single time I have ordered, something is incorrect. The staff are friendly as they are trained to be, the actual service (drive through) is always on par, the accuracy of orders however, I have not had good luck with. I have gone to pickup a work order as well as personal and always something missing or inaccurate. And forget about calling the store directly, it's all automated, the system refers you to download an app or contact them online at something called Chick-fil-A cares...but really do you if it's such difficulty to get ahold of an actual person?? I waited on hold for 20 minutes to speak directly to a live person. For an entire order to be wrong is unacceptable. It's good, it's better than any other fast food chain. The quality of service and of the food surpasses all other chains whether it be fast food or not. There could be 30 cars in the drive thru and you'll get your food faster here than you would anywhere else. It's always delicious and they're always friendly. read more

Every time I come here I have a fantastic experience. They never mess up my order and they are all extremely kind people. I felt like I HAD to write a good review when I was leaving and I saw an employee LITERALLY running out of the place and across the parking lot to chase after a car that was leaving the parking lot because they forgot their milkshake! That is service that goes ABOVE AND BEYOND, and I have never seen it anywhere else! I have been to this specific location many many times over the last year, and have never had a bad experience other than it's ALWAYS packed and you have to have patience. Their curbside pickup during Covid is on point(not sure why people wait in the drive through still?) and they are always so friendly! However, today I grabbed lunch there and was really disappointed because the fries tasted like mold. The fries are one of my favorite parts...so I thought it was just a fluke one and kept eating. But fry after fry tasted like mold. I am so disappointed since I don't live near Worcester and made the 25 minute commute JUST to eat here! read more

Your food may be good, however I refuse to patron an establishment that has its workers ("Drivethru Team") standing outside in inclement weather UNCOVERED & WITHOUT A HEAT SOURCE taking customers orders in their WARM vehicles when your drive up comm works perfectly fine! Once you've given your order to one of the 2 line workers WITHOUT weather protection, there's a 3rd standing in a small COVERED booth WITH a heat source taking payments and or handing out receipts & a 4th worker standing outside the drive up window running back & forth bringing the food to the cars. I don't buy the "oh they get switched every 2hrs & they can tell us when they want to come inside" BS. It appears your mission is clear...increase the number of customers + as quick as possible service = more profits...going to the top!!! If this was good practice, then why aren't other drive up restaurants doing this??? And since my first email a few months ago went nowhere & now today's call to corporate will probably go the same place...I decided to leave you a review here to see. "The health & safety of our workers..." & "Chick-fil-a cares" are a bunch of LIES!!! Y'all know these young kids can only get certain low paying jobs & then companies like yours dog them out! First time I've eaten at Chick-fil-A in 50 years and it was not a Chick-fil-A product. I ordered the chicken strips and they were not Chick-fil-A strips. These were a generic strip that you can find at any fast food restaurant. Chick-fil-A is a company that prides itself on brand consistency and experience. The experience was what I've grown accustomed to having the original location in my hometown - but I know they would be surprised that one of their Worcester location is cutting corners on quality. Food: Chick fil a hands down is some of the best fast food fried chicken i have ever consumed. The chicken sandwich deluxe overall is juicy and really melts in your mouth with flavor. The batter they use really holds it all together and gives you that crunch you look for in fried chicken but after you bite into it you're met the the greatness of the white meat chicken. The lettuce and tomato they use are also so fresh and crisp. Service: The food came out to the table rather quickly, i think we only sat for a couple minutes before someone came around with it. However i did order a shake and i was basically done with my meal and no one had come with it so i had to go to the counter and wait for someone to assist me and let them know i didn't get my shake, which of course was sitting on the counter. Cleanliness: As we walked in there was someone wiping up a spill with what looked to be a baby wipe. Very odd, i think a mop would have probably been more efficient. The place was super packed so the tables were all being cleaned as soon as someone got up. You can tell this is the new spot for the college kids to come eat. read more

The food is good, however this location has issues with service. First off, and this isn't this location's fault (entirely), but they do get really overwhelmed with orders at lunch and in the evenings after 6. The parking lot is a bit small which can make it difficult to find parking. But don't try to find salvation by going through the drive through, the line moves at a glacial pace and sometimes gets so long it pours out into the street. But I hear you saying, that's not fair, I'm complaining about going at one of their busiest times! Sorry, no, I've been here early morning, mid-afternoon, whenever, and they are just slow. I've experienced 10 minute+ waits for a simple sandwich when there were no other customers around. However, my biggest problem with this location is ordering via mobile for pick-up, as they've lost my order multiple times. From what I can gather the problem is if you don't hear your name when they call it (or in many of my experiences, mumble it) they just shove the order to the side and forget about you. The customer's name isn't on the bag, so once your name has been called, your food is then out of their order system and they don't seem to have any way to find it again. It seems like something as simple as placing your name on the bag would go a long way towards eliminating this issue. It's sad because I generally like the food here, but I have been burned so many times I avoid going because I don't want to deal with the frustrations involved. read more

We went to the grand opening today, it was AWESOME. Though it was packed, they were well run & efficient. After waiting for a parking spot, we went in to a surprisingly shorter line than expected. We quickly got to the register & ordered. We easily found a table, & our food came in less than 5 minutes! We also had one of their employees from corporate greet us at the table, bring sauces, & etc. Staff were so nice & fast! Super impressed. I got a grilled chicken sandwich while my bf got the spicy deluxe sandwich. I also got fries & a side salad. Everything tasted great, I love the consistency of their waffle fries & their selection of sauces. Our top 3 faves were the chick-fil-a, honey mustard, & Polynesian sauces. Cookies & cream shake was bomb. Vanilla ice cream cone was also good. read more

I was trying to find parking but ended up in the drive thru lane and couldn't leave it. I needed to pick up my mobile order inside. Every Chick-fil-A I have ever gone to (across the entire country) has been happy to put a slice of cheese on the side in a container for my chicken minis, however at this location I was told that they can't do that. The Chick-fil-a Deluxe Sandwich was very good and worth the drive into Worcester. However, the Waffle Potato Fries were a soggy, cold disappointment, the lemonade was good. This was our first visit to Chick-fil-A in Worcester. We've been twice to the store in Westborough and like that one better. Not that there was anything specifically wrong with the Gold Star Boulevard location. It just seemed a lot smaller and not set up as well as the other. Food was very enjoyable, and the customer service was just fine. We both tried their limited time special white peach iced tea/lemonade and found it to be delicious, not cloyingly sweet like the sweet tea we had on our last outing (I asked for mine to be made with the diet lemonade, and they accommodated me, no problem). Too bad this beverage won't be available all the time, but perhaps it will be if it's popular enough. read more

I was asking questions about it they served ice cream hear and they hung up on me multiple times. They also said they were getting sick of me asking questions. So hash browns are a breakfast meal that they have but typically serve it throughout the day. I had 4 hash browns to redeem and it was the last day to do so thus I came around 9pm to go get some under the assumption that they still serve them throughout the day, but upon my request, Kwaku rejected saying that it's only a breakfast dish. So glad Chick-fil-A came to Worcester!! This place has super quick service and really great food. Everyone is so friendly! I accidentally dropped and broke a vase of the flowers they put on all the tables and they quickly replaced it and mopped everything up without me even having to notify anyone. I'm giving this 2 stars instead of 1 because the food was edible. The staff was dressed sloppy, running around obnoxiously laughing and playing patty cake by the window. They were unprofessional and loud. Their shirts were untucked and oversized. There was a couple fries on the floor and instead of cleaning them up they just kept walking on them. Such an embarrassment for Chick-fil-A. I guess it's too much to ask for quality workers out of Worcester. read more
