I like chick fil a but this location is just not it. I've been a few times now and every time have had to wait 20-30 minutes for a small order. This location is right near a high school and by the most used metro stop for AU students, so it gets very busy during the school year. Every time I've gone, my order has never been right and sometimes it seems like the food has been sitting out for a while. Maybe it's better when it's not peak hours, but I have yet to have a good experience at this location. read more

This is the absolute worst location. It took 20 minutes to make a chicken sandwich and the system (or lack there of) is just pure chaos. I ordered only a small size key lime frozen lemonade to go, perfect for a hot day like today. They didn't have the peach milkshake, which was my first pick! There was no one in line so I was able to order right away. I paid with the app, which was quick and easy. Given that they weren't too busy and judging by how many employees that were standing around, it took far too long to get my beverage. Regardless, it was worth the wait! The key lime taste was excellent---delicious flavor, sweet (but surprisingly not too sweet), good texture, and overall a good value! This location did the trick! We had just gotten home through Reagan airport and we're making the trip back up to Silver Spring in the middle of rush-hour. This was one of the few Chick-fil-A's I could find that wouldn't of been completely heinous due to lack of parking and busyness downtown. My husband was able to park at a meter around the corner while I ran in to grab our order. It's super easy to place them ahead of time through the app. Plus you get points! Once I arrived I only had to wait a minute before it was ready and it came out exactly as ordered! My kids are always happy with the with the chicken nugget happy meals. While my dad and husband love their grilled chicken club sandwiches, I'm a sucker for just the regular nuggets. Lol this place will never grow old on me! I am consistently impressed with the service at each if their locations. There was an employee taking orders from the customers in line, so we only waited for about three minutes for food for four people. While we were eating, another employee came over and made sure we had everything we needed, and took away trash. I love Chik Fil A, and am a satisfied customer each time I eat there. read more

This is probably my last time coming to this location. Not only are they half staffed most mornings, but now the food is lacking. I went in there this morning and recieved an egg that looked overcooked, and also smelled old. I wanted to throw just the egg off but then the chicken piece seemed old as well, so i ended up throwing my food out. I can get past the orders being wrong sometimes, but when I stand there waiting, they are always calling the wrong order out to people and having the change it up. The girls up front are pleasant though, I just need them to do better with the quality of food they are sending out to customers. I called the manager this morning and not one care that this is my third encounter of getting to work and realizing that I was charged for something I didn't receive. I'm going back tomorrow for a refund for the difference. I ordered a chicken, egg and cheese and only received egg and cheese. I can make that at home. I have experienced continually terrible service at this location. There are numerous staff milling around who appear to be doing nothing. I submit my online order 30 minutes before arriving and still wait an additional 30 minutes for the order. Fast food, no matter how freshly made should not take this long. And drivers for takeout services like Doordash and others were getting instantly assisted while the rest of us waited and waited. The inefficiency was astounding. This is either poor management or an employee issue or frankly both. At my most recent order, they handed me food while I waited for a drink only to discover they had carelessly handed the wrong order to me. Upon realizing the mixup they had me give the order, in an open, unsealed bag during Covid to the correct person. I do not recommend this location. If you can avoid it, don't eat there. read more

It pains me to write this review! This is for a corporate lunch order we had delivered to our office about two weeks ago. Each month we vote on a caterer for our staff lunch and this month's winner was Chick Fila - our employees were stoked. We ordered 200 nuggets, 10 chicken sandwiches and 10 chicken wraps for our staff of 30. PROS: Food was lovely, although not enough (!) - that's ok, this was my first time ordering CF catering and there's always a learning curve. Superfood salad, garden salad and fruit tray were outstanding. CONS: The delivery guy forgot the dipping sauces for all our nuggets! And ALL the salad dressings for our salads! I know it wasn't on purpose but everyone went bananas without the sauce. In his defense he did return to the restaurant to get them but all our food was long gone before he returned. He was terribly apologetic about the oversight and I appreciated his sincerity. The chicken salad wraps we ordered were completely out - they called me early to give me a head's up (thanks!) and asked if they could make a substitution (sure). Delivery was scheduled for 11.45 and arrived after 12.00 - not a dealbreaker, I know it's during the lunch rush - just something to keep in mind when ordering. VERDICT: The complaints of missing sauces and salad dressings continue to haunt me, lol. Chick Fila, please pay very close attention when putting lunch orders together! Thank you all. read more

The salad I bought took literally 20 mins to be prepared. I asked for a Cobb with no egg and got one with no egg, no red cabbage, and no corn. It was busy so I was being patient since I figured they'd have to make the salad to order. I looked at the screen and saw my order was first on the screen and the time elapsed was 9mins and 30 secs. I asked the employee for an eta she told me the nuggets were taking time but I wasn't given an eta until I asked again. It took another 10 minutes for the salad to be prepared. Apparently at 12:30pm in the afternoon you have to wait forever for grilled nuggets. After the first 10 mins my cashier gave me a coupon for a free salad and apologized. However the food runner never took hold of the situation I know the SLA for orders is important so I don't know why she would let an order stay on her screen for 10 mins and not ask questions about it until the customer does. Needless to say I am annoyed. Be ware if you order grilled nuggets on your salad. read more

I just want to take a moment to recognize this establishment and an employee especially, Jameel, to praise the customer service that I consistently receive. My job is very close to this chick fil a, so I come here pretty frequently during my lunch breaks, and even though it is always busy (as normal lunch time hours are) I am ALWAYS greeted with a smile and friendly conversation from Jameel anytime I am being serviced by him. He is never flustered with the demand of customers during the rush lunch hours, but is always calm and polite. My order is always correct, and my food is fresh and hot. This is one of the worst ran Chick-fil-A's I've ever experienced. The manager, Jazmyn, didn't smile or greet guests at all when taking orders. The line was out of the door and you could visibly see staff members in the kitchen standing around and sitting eating on break. The staff showed no urgency whatsoever.
