We love this Chick Fil A every year. It's the only one we know that always has Xmas lights that are fully decked out. On Friday and Saturday nights they have Santa. We came on a Thursday night. If you aren't having a Chick-fil-A date on your day off, you ain't living right. I've never been to a nicer Chik-fil-A. This establishment was was so clean. There were even flowers on every table. They had cute little placemats you could use and a playzone that I was unfortunately over the height limitations to enjoy. We got a salad and sandwich combo and finished with ice cream cones. I usually don't review fast food establishments but my current experience here was an eye opening experience....an example of how business go beyond the call of duty to help their customer. We ordered Doordash, Long story short... the order was screwed up never delivered to our home not sure if the driver just kept the food or dropped it off at the wrong home. I was definitely billed for the order and yet could not get a hold of the driver. Doordash does not take calls from customers during the pandemic , only from merchants. No way to be reached ! I then reached out to Chick-fil-A mainly to see if they can help me reach out to Doordash as a merchant. I understand this was not their problem since we used a third party service. Immediately , the lady who answered the phone offered to replace the meal for me at no charge if I come pick it up curbside. She gave me her personal cell phone number to text my order , she was the perfect example of what customer service should be so I asked for her name to put a good Word into the manager. She stated they were the owners of this establishment. Jodi said no need to come to the restaurant , her husband will drop off the order to our front door. To our surprise he arrived 15 minutes later with a free bag of cookies as well . My son was being a hangry home schooled pre-tween and I saw the first genuine smile in awhile . I didn't expect them going above and beyond for with a small lunch order , But it shows that they truly value their customers. Please support your local businesses even if it's a franchise during this time. Way to go Jason and Jodi ! You all are amazing and we will continue to support your business. This is our go-to Chick-fil-A because they are quick, the staff is friendly and the food is always fresh. My kids love their kids meal. I as a parent also love that instead of fries, we get fresh fruit and it's the kind of fruit kids like - strawberries, apples, oranges and blueberries - no up-charge! The kids toys are great too - always education based and fun to play together. I always get the market salad and this Chick-fil-A that has the highest standards in their salad mix. I have never been a fan of Chick-Fil-A and refused to do business with them in the past due to their support of certain hate groups. They have recently distanced themselves as a company, from those hate groups... so to be fair, thought I would give them another try. Location was clean, and always... busy. I am always amazed at the traffic they have. Girl at the front was friendly, and I ordered a Spicy Chicken sandwich combo with Kale salad instead of fries (I like Kale... and am trying to be good! ;) ). Sandwich was good... although I am still put off by the sweetness of the crust on the chicken (they have to be adding a lot of sugar for it to be so obvious). Kale salad was very good... Another member of the staff stopped by and asked if I needed a drink refill, and I told her no... so she asked if she could take my tray. Great service! I am beyond shocked at the lack of quality in my most recent order. I ordered two spicy southwest salads with chicken nuggets but ordered extra nuggs to be added (for an extra $6 each) and we received a bare minimum of chicken in both salads, it didn't even seem to have what they usually give for one. For one of the salads we also asked (and paid) for bacon crumbles and that was missing. The chicken that was added to the salad did not seem fresh either. The best service I've ever experienced at a fast food place! I'm from NY and I've never experienced such friendly and attentive service at a fast food place. They even came over to check on us while we were eating our food. We ordered the chicken sandwich, French fries, chicken strips and lemonade. The chicken was very good, fries are unsalted so a bit bland but crispy and lemonade tasted like it was made with real lemons. The restaurant is very spacious and even has a kid play area. This is my favorite CFA nearby. They always offer good food, great service, and a clean establishment. I really appreciate Hunter as he always greets and takes care of my family at every visit. This CFA should be the model of how a CFA should be run for every other store in the city. I really really appreciate eating here. However, the last couple of times I've visited here, I've come for the free breakfast item, and the lines have been extra long. On this morning, I arrived at 10:22 to find a line stretching into the parking lot. As we creeped closer, & I stared at the clock, I wondered if I'd make it. Alas, when I reached the speaker box at 10:32, I was told they were on lunch already. No, thank you. Seeing at least 15 cars in the two drive-thru lanes behind me, I can imagine most of these potential customers are as disappointed as I am. In fact the car behind me also declined to order lunch. Chick-fil-A has successfully run a very humorous advertising campaign for many years, and despite what others may think of the socio-political views of the fast food empire's CEO, there no doubting the freshness and quality of the food. This Chick-fil-A sits on Waters Avenue right near the Veteran's Expressway, and in the same shopping center as Lowes, Target, and the Tax Collector's office. This particular restaurant does a booming business year-round, and they have a double-sided drive-through to accommodate all of the cars. In fact this Chick-fil-A actually staffs people in the parking lot to take your carryout orders even before you drive up to the windows. The management of this particular Chick-fil-A is very focused on the local community, and during the Christmas Holidays they pull out all of the stops with their decorating and turn this store into an incredible sound and light display that attracts families from all over the area. They have more Christmas lights than your average neighborhood, and have even installed bleachers in the parking lot so that families can pick up their meals and then sit on the bleachers as they watch all of the lights. Seriously amazing display! Right now Chick-fil-A is advertising their 2014 calendar with all sorts of coupons to be used throughout the year, and featuring "The Cows". Another hysterical marketing effort from these folks. OK, so back to the food.... I usually order the Chargrilled Chicken Sammie which comes with lettuce, tomato, and pickles on a whole wheat bun. Honestly this is a 5* Chick-Fil-A all the way! Yes it is one of the busiest ones I have been to but they are on their game always. They have workers working that are honestly very sweet and always willing to help and make everything the way you want it etc. They work hard to get the line moving but they get BUSY during lunch (I got between 2-3) and it's still a bit busy but not lunch rush! Anyway, long story short, fries tasted old and lukewarm, my ice coffee was MIA, had to drag down a manager, said they'd bring it right out, tasted like it was poorly done, felt like they rushed it and missed a step, took a couple sips and threw it out. Next up, I ordered two half gallons of lemonade and sweet tea which never came out, had to drag down the manager again, tells me they don't have any half gallons, since I was charged for it they will give me a full gallon instead, sounds great.
