While you can't go wrong with any of the chicken options, the corn fritters make for a perfect side (with a good blend of sweetness and crispiness) and their sweet waffles make for a tasty dessert. Not bad, but not the same…read more I remember coming to the food truck and subsequently the picnic tables in the building for this specific business and getting some delicious chicken and waffles. I tried them again recently, and the quality looks like it's slipping. The waffle was not fresh, felt like a prepackaged waffle warmed up. The chicken wasn't breaded to be crispy, and the corn fritters were actually pretty tasty. The chicken was cooked well, and the portions were very large, but the quality was lacking. It's not bad chicken and waffles, but it is not as great as I once remembered. I am hoping my recent experience was a flub, but it's good enough for that area if you need your chicken and waffles fix.

The service is really good too, they have a very family-friendly vibe and you feel that since everytime I went in, someone of the staff knew someone coming in to eat. I think the only reason I can't give 5 stars is that the food was different on two seprate times I went, even though I ordered the same item. Twice I ordered party wings (as pictured) and the first time they had the crispy coating and then were sauced. (I liked that better personally) Then, the next time, they were not coated and just fried. They were both cooked and fully delicious because I ate all of them, but they weren't the same both times. It's not gonna stop me from going again, because either way those wings come out, I'm still gonna eat them, hahaha. There's just no place nearby that has a honey garlic sauced wings!

If you're craving comfort food done RIGHT, Rooster Chicken and Waffles does not disappoint…read more Everything about my order hit. The food was fresh, hot, and a solid portion. You can tell they don't cut corners. I literally saw them in the back battering the chicken by hand, which says a lot about the quality and care they put into their food. The sauces? All made in-house, and you can taste the difference. Every bite had flavor on flavor; no shortcuts here. They may have multiple locations, but this spot? Yeah... they put their foot in the food I'll definitely came back.

I counted at least 15 employees either working or on break and every one was dressed in the appropriate uniform, working efficiently (or on their lunch break) and in a wonderful mood. My wife and I ordered separately but we had our food delivered to our table in less than 2 minutes. Everything was correct, hot, and tasty. Even the staff that were stuck running take-out orders in the rain to the parked cars were in good spirits. Why is it that every other fast food chain manages to hire workers who are either apathetic or unfriendly? I am sick and tired of walking into other places and having staff screw up my order; pay more attention to their phone than me; ignore dirty tables, dining rooms and counters; or use foul language when there are customers around. Why can't the world be filled with more Chil-fil-A restaurants!
