Just went through Chick-fil-A. Owner has employees taking orders on the drive not observing appropriate distancing by coming right up to the drivers window to take an order. When I mentioned it to the employee he would not back away. When I mentioned it to the owner he told me that he was giving work to his employees and if I didn't like it I need not come back. Bad business practice not respecting the 6 foot separation we need in the today's environment. Bad attitude by ownership to tell customer if they don't like it they don't need to eat there. Pretty consistent with the food. Last time we dined in we were greeted at our table and asked if we needed anything, we did need refills! The older lady filled them for us and another came by with a basket of mints. The dining area was clean and service was fast. Typically we use the drive thru option. Most days there are a ton of cars in the lane. I'd suggest going inside, if you can find a parking spot. This location is a busy one for sure. read more

When this place opened here, I was thrilled. They really seemed to be into customer service. I used to live in Florida and we had them all over. As the months progressed, they made changes. This store is NOTHING like the Florida ones. For some reason there are 2 drive thru lanes, one is always closed and they have two workers standing NEXT TO the drive thru speaker to take your order. I can understand if it's busy and they're taking orders 20 cars back, but with NO cars in line other than me...that's really annoying. And why do they have to take my name when I order? No other fast food place does that in the drive thru. I'm just not big on giving out my name to a fast food drive thru worker for absolutely no reason. Now they have someone sitting outside to take your money too. After he yells your name from his seat as you're sitting two cars back. For the second disappointing part, they discontinued the chicken salad sandwich. That was my favorite thing there. It was healthy, good and inexpensive. When the outside "order taker" told me that as I sat at the drive thru speaker, I just left. Luckily, there weren't any cars in front of me, so I could pull out. The other day I asked if I could have a chicken wrap with not a lot of meat and extra lettuce cause I don't like too much meat. She said she couldn't do it. Um, ok. After my experience today, I will NEVER return to this chick fil a. For being a Christian chain restaurant, the workers at this springfield location are incredibly rude, and literally have no clue what they are doing. First of all, when we asked our lady taking our order if we could do four tabs, she gave us EXTREME attitude when telling us she could only do two tabs. Once we ordered, she didn't even ask us a name, but started calling our car by the name "Hailey" We only knew that was us, because the prices they asked for were the same they told us when we ordered. It took them 5 minutes to swipe my card for my order, and then when they swiped the second tabs card, it kept saying the card was declined, when the girl literally had money on her card. My other friend had to pay with her card, and the other girl whose card was "declined" had money pending on her account from that order. Therefore, we were double charged. When we told them about our issue at the window, the women at the window YELLED -5at us, and didn't let us finish talking. , along with not giving us a refund. For the prices they charge, you should get a chicken breast hot off the grill, not one that's been cooked too hours beforehand. It wasn't hot enough to melt the cheese they draped across the sandwich, I understand I came in after lunch hours but I paid full price for old dried out food. Not happy, won't be back. read more

We went through the drive thru in between games to get some food. we waited about 20 minutes in line and when we got our food, two of our orders were completely wrong when we played full price for the order we thought we were getting. one thing we ordered was a grilled chicken sandwich with a gluten free bun because of a gluten allergy. we got chicken nuggets instead. just very disappointed. read more

I was in the drive through with no car behind me. The two people in front of me were taken care of in four minutes. The white lady didn't come to the window the entire time that I was there. She packed bags with forks as though she was busy (no one was being me). but had just served a white male and then a white female. I am African American. The manager comes to take my money and repeated the wrong order. I corrected her and she hands me my change with no receipt. She closes the windows and a black woman comes to the window and repeated my order again. I had an appointment and now there are two car behind me. I was told to pull into the parking lot and I said I was in a hurry and my order was wrong the last time I was there. Sitting in the parking lot and having little time before my appointment, I decided to get my money back and go somewhere else after my appointment. I walked in the restaurant. When I was getting my refund, the black lady was talking about me out loud in the restaurant.. calling me rude just for expressing my disappointment with the service I was getting. Ordered a side salad with Honey Mustard fat free dressing. Was crisp, tasty- without a hint of salad preservative taste that you usually get elsewhere. Nice portion, excellent quality (seriously, looked like it could have been advertisement quality). Restaurant was packed (it was lunch time), and there were two guys sitting across from me at the huge counter like seating table). The one guy apparently was talked into coming for lunch...never had been to a Chic-fil-a before, made a comment about being happy they came because otherwise he may not have ever thought to come in- he really liked it. I was very impressed when I went to the drive-thru this evening. Employees were taking orders with masks on and I was asked to swipe my card myself in their handheld device. As soon as I approached the window, an employee wearing a mask came to my car window with a tray carrying only my order. The employees were pleasant. Went through the drive thru and was told to pull around and park and turn my hazards on and our food would be brought out to us. At least 30 minutes later no food was brought to us and watched multiple people come and go with food. This place did an amazing job with their opening. After a week, I went back, and while it was just as crowded, it lacked the outside helpers used to move line faster. It took longer to get through with fewer cars. A chick-Fil-a I went in Peoria was not new, but they still had outside workers moving the line faster. The food is just as good as any of their restaurants, and I hope the congestion gets better after the newness wears off. read more

I have stopped into this Chick-fil-A almost weekly since it opened. I have never had a bad meal or experience here. The restaurant has always been clean and well staffed. Don't let the long lines intimidate you. They are very efficient as well as professional and friendly. If I had to list a criticism it would be that the space is way too small given the amount of people that eat here. I recommend trying one of their chocolate chip cookies. They serve them nice and warm and outclass the cookies from old cookie place that used to be in the mall. read more

Like every chic fil a I have ever been to it was amazing. Outstanding service and I mean like other restaurants should send their staff to chic fil a to see how it is supposed to be done. Food is consistently good and so far they have always got my order right it comes out extremely fast for the volume of customers and tastes great. The spicy chicken sandwich is my favorite and the lemonade is awesome. It is my number one go to for lunch. Let me start out my saying this was my 5th visit to a Chick-fil-a and my 4th visit to this specific location. My last visit to this location was last summer on August 11th. I remember the date because me and my family were leaving for vacation and we enjoyed our previous visits. When we ordered our food in August the place was far from clean inside and had flies buzzing around. That's typically a red flag to me. However like I said we enjoyed our sandwiches on previous visits. While I was reluctantly eating my ice cold fries my son pointed out that I had a spider crawling around on my sandwich. I inspected it and indeed had a banana spider or fruit spider in my sandwich which was half eaten. I swiftly asked for my money back and exited the restaurant with a half empty stomach. I immediately stated I would not return and had kept my promise until this past week. I'm a creature of habit and order the same thing just about anywhere. So me and my family decided to give the place one last try. I ordered a spicy chicken deluxe and several meals for my family. When our food was brought out all of our bottom buns were cut in half as if someone that opened the buns up used a knife and slit all the buns. Easy to look past but a pain in the rear. With my last experience I knew it was best to inspect my food. I took the bun off and realized I did not have a deluxe but just a piece of spicy chicken on a less than desirable bun. No big deal they made a mistake I thought and swiftly requested a new sandwich. The one I received wasn't much better. The chicken was absolute trash, the tomato was mostly white and the cheese was as cold as my soon to be feelings towards this place. May I suggest if you want a good meal go to any local owned joint in the area. When this place opened it was decent now it's just trash. The floors are disgusting and the food is less than desirable. Save your money and get some chicken from Walmart. I not only will not visit this specific location again but I will not enter another Chick-fil-a again. read more

This is probably my favorite fast food restaurant in town. The food always tastes fresh, they keep their social media updated so I'm always aware of any special events or offers that are happening and the customer service is out of this world. I've never come across anyone who didn't go out of their way to make sure that I was happy. The store is always clean including the play area. I've been to this location several times and the food is always great but it's a pain going with a baby and toddler and going back to the counter for sauce, refills, and getting a high chair, etc. Today, Genevieve brought us our food, helped me with the high chair and placemat and even chatted up my 3 year old. She was so friendly. Others were even walking around checking if people needed refills. This was all so helpful and if this keeps up I'll definitely keep coming back. read more

Wouldn't even give 1 star. Of course the food is like every other Chick-fil-A. It's good. But every time I have ever went the service is awful. I'm in the drive-through and it is 10:27am and I ask if they're serving lunch and they told me not until 10:30am. They refused to take my order or serve me and told me I would have to come back... I couldn't simply drive off because it was a drive-through that you can't leave out of. You have to wait for everybody to get their food and be done. I'm BEYOND UPSET. To sit and wait in a drive-through when I'm not even getting any service.. I can't explain the anger. Of course all their workers are high school students. Complete and utter awful hospitality. I never write reviews. I doubt this review will matter. I really hope management looks at this. I would have a talk with whoever is working the window on 11/23/16 taking orders.
