I only came to try the new banana pudding milkshake. The refreshing milkshake features Chick-fil-A® Icedream® dessert, mixed with bananas and vanilla wafer cookie crumbles, topped off with whipped cream and a cherry. It was really sweet & had 720 calories. Ughhh,but I wanted to try it so I said to myself why the heck not. You only live once. Will not be trying again due to the humongous amount of calories & sugar. Plus, the whipped cream tasted weird. I couldn't pinpoint why it tasted so weird.i did like that the milkshake was thick. Inside was a little smaller than most Chick-fil-As I'm used to. I only went inside b/c my cousin forgot to ask for sauce. Just make sure you slather your sandwich with their delicious Chick-fil-A sauce... yummers! The only complaint I have is the uses of paper cups. We enjoyed lunch today around noon. Our order was taken quickly and the female taking it was very friendly and professional for fast food. Our order was read back to us and once received, prepared with hot, fresh and tasty ingredients. The fries were served fresh and hot, delicious. The store was mostly clean, however the bathroom was needing a bit of tidying up. There was an older lady walking around cleaning tables, offering assistance and delivering food that stood out. Let me start first with the young man that took our order very professional incredible service the food on the other hand not so good. I ordered a combo meal and they gave me the wrong one I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich. I ended up getting something called the deluxe first of all it wasn't spicy. It had lettuce, tomato, and cheese. The chicken was very oily not hot at all. Had no crunch. The fries were OK. I ordered a eight piece chicken nuggets which was very good. We were so excited to finally try Chick-fil-a. Didn't want to wait in the long drive thru line, so we parked and went in. No line, ordered quickly and then all down hill from there. Went to wait for our food with a few other people. Started looking around and saw how dirty the restaurant was. After 15 minutes we finally got our to-go order. When we got home, one $13 meal was missing. We called the restaurant to try to get a refund as it's 15 minutes from my house and I didn't want to have to go back. The message says press one for problems with your order. It then asks you to leave a message. I did, but have not received a return phone call. I was extremely impressed by this Chick-fil-A. From the abundance of helpful staff to the quick service delivering hot mouthwatering food. I highly recommended coming to this spot. Here are some highlights. So, I ordered two tenders at 11:54 and got them by 11:56. They came out perfectly hot and so moist. By far the best Chick-fil-A tenders I've ever had. I saw other reviews mention how busy the restaurant is and how long it takes, but while the restaurant was 2/3 full inside at lunchtime on Friday, there were plenty of staff, and like I mentioned before, my food came out fast. While I did not order too much, I saw other people who ordered more get their food fast as well. Additionally the inside it was so clean! It was clear that the cleaning staff made sure to keep up on everything. Also, the bathrooms were quite nice and clean as well. Lastly, the workers never forgot the classic "my pleasure" which was just the cherry on the top for this delightful experience. read more

I was excited when this store finaly opened. My experience with stores up north have not been great especially compared to those in the southern states. I have frequented this store since it has opened. The food has been great but you almost never get what you order. I ordered sausage egg and cheese on English muffins and got bacon. Frequently orders of fries have been missing. It's discouraging because multiple people usually verify your order. The people are nice and friendly and they move the lines quickly It's obvious that corporate trainers are on site. Im concerned about how it will be when they leave. read more

Ive been dining at other chick fil a 's for alot of years. Sadly this wasnt the expirience i wanted. The chick fil a sandwiches had a ton of salt. Its like they were trying to ruin it on purpose. Ill give them another shot maybe 6 months from now. Till then ill go to other chick fil a locations ill drive the where i need to for a better sandwich. I have never written a review, good or bad, but this experience was SO bad I had to. I have been to Chick -fil-a 's in several states. The one in Danbury/Brookfield has amazing service and handles a rush crowd, much bigger than the one today in shelton, like champs with the same or less wait time than other drive thru places. Today was over 30 minutes, to receive half cold food and be handed a bag missing half the order. Ridiculous. Then, when i have to park and walk back to get the missing food, the number of employees i saw-looking confused and many not doing anything made things more upsetting. I love chick fil a, I was so excited for chick fil a to open closer to home, but I will absolutely never return to this location! When they first opened, I was patient! It's been a few months now though and they should really be operating a lot better than they are! Waits are super long and while some employees are super nice, this is the only location that I've experienced rude or just unkind employees. I had a baby right around the time they opened, via c section. I loved the convenience of going through the chick fil a drive through for a salad! I was able to park and eat while baby was sleeping, or have a healthier option with me at my destination. Unfortunately, they never include utensils! I tried to call to talk about it, nobody answered. I e mailed chick fil a about it and was offered a free menu item they said was loaded on the app account (I don't even have an account and I don't care about a feee menu item, I just want to be able to eat what I ordered!) I've been ordering salads at chick fil a locations for years and have never had this problem... only this location, and sometimes even when I ask to include utensils while ordering!! Today was the last chance for me! It wasn't the fact that they forgot my fork, or that I had to take baby out of the car and walk over slippery ice in freezing cold temps to go in and get a fork so that I could eat (probably the only chance I'll have to eat today! Mom life!) but the bad attitude of the employees when I went in and (politely) mentioned my forgotten utensils and asked for the little packet of sun dried tomato and pepper that comes w the salad... a little, "sorry about that!" would've gone a long way. TO MAKE THINGS WORSE! Once I got the fork, I didn't even eat the salad. Way too many pieces of rotten lettuce. Tried picking some of it out but it was completely gross and the amount of it was concerning, I did call and leave a message. I'd love to be able to give constructive criticism rather than write a bad review ... but I see where that got me last time (no where! No calls back, just a generic response) You can, and usually do, do better, chick fil a! I'm really bummed out that this is consistently the experience. I don't get why this place is so popular. I've heard people say they love chick fil a, so I tried it. Got it for dinner tonight for the fourth and probably last time tonight. There was one time when it was okay, the other three times the fries and chicken were greasy and soggy. The sauces are perhaps the only saving grace. So, now, I'm really wondering what the fuss is all about. I went for the first time ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and order of fries. Breezed right through that part. Was in line behind two other cars when the girl walked out with my order. There was a hold for chicken nuggets so the other cars had to wait for their orders. Finally, I asked can you get them to move into the parking lot so I can leave the worst part was the fries were lukewarm and the sandwich was not hot either and the lettuce was all wilted. I never write reviews but I have been to several locations in Connecticut and different states and never had such a bad experience as this location in Shelton. It started from when we walked in and the front counter near the register was in desperate need of attention it was so dirty. I told the cashier and he stated he would take care of it. After ordering I walked to the pickup area and that counter looked just as bad. It took about 20 minutes to receive my food and about 30 for my sister and we ordered at the same time. The worst part is it was COLD. I have NEVER had cold fries or chicken here. Plus the entire time I was waiting the counters were never cleaned. This is not the norm because the other locations are always clean and the food is always hot. read more
