Stopped in Saturday around 4:30 to a line almost to the door. Only 2 registers open, one of them by a trainee. It may have been faster to go have a steak at Roadhouse... My grilled chicken sandwich wasn't on par. Seemed like it had been sitting rather than freshly prepared. Fries and Ice Tea were fine, but the sandwich was a let down and I had no desire to stand in that line again to complain about it, so you can hear about it on Yelp instead... Couldn't decide where to go tonight. We didn't want to have to wait and we wanted quality food that didn't take long. We thought of chick-fil-a! Well when we arrived the line was all the way to the door where we entered. The staff did a very good job managing the crowd, this is a much more organized restaurant in comparison to others by leaps and bounds. My daughter recommended the Market Salad. It did not disappoint! Fresh strawberries, blueberries, apples, grilled chicken (so tasty and all quality meat- no fat, no gristle) blue cheese, with the option to top it with nuts and granola. I was worried about it not filling me up but it was a good substantial portion. While we were eating one of the employees offered us a sample of the peach milkshake. It was really delicious and refreshing with pieces of fruit in it too. I really liked the nice tribute to our fallen service men and women in honor of Memorial Day. Each table had some flowers with an American Flag in a mini vase. There was a lovely place setting all by itself with a vase of flowers, a lovely poem in a frame, and even a bible. I really thought that was a beautiful show of respect. Most businesses are in it for the money, but I got a twinge in my heart when I saw this lovely display of thoughtful respect. The help at chick-fil-a is top notch. The staff of young adults are very polite and they are many steps above other restaurants, even the sit down restaurants in some cases. "My pleasure" is the way they show appreciation of your business. They are always thinking about the guest experience and you can see that they are a well trained group. Not easy today to find good help who is eager to work and please. As busy as the restaurant was I remarked to my daughter how clean the tables were. The condiment area was clean, orderly and well stocked too. This is a place I will definitely be visiting again more frequently! I enjoyed the vanilla soft serve "ice-dream" cone. Customer Service is lacking. Instead of thoughtfully and respectfully responding to a request 3 team members did their best to badger a customer who made a quiet request. Sometimes you don't know everything and sometimes systems don't work like they are supposed. Maybe some education is necessary on technology in addition to customer service. read more

This store is on my normal "walking route" so I pass by all of the time. I am always amazed at the massive line they have. I try to only visit when the line isn't that long. I would rate this 5 star but the wait can be very long. I really don't know how they can fix the wait. I think they need an entire new store design with a bigger kitchen area and better vehicle traffic. With that out of the way, we have never been disappointed with the food or the service. Quality fast food, friendly service. One time while we were waiting, they apologized and gave us free drinks while we waited. Wait was like 90 seconds after paying for the food. read more

Came here while in the area for work. I ordered inside and walked out to my car. When I opened the chicken package up I found a weird grey string/hair something gross wrapped around the chicken. I Went right back inside to tell them and foolishly expected the normal chic fil a service I'm used to (smile on face and friendly attitudes) yet instead I was greeted with employees who appeared annoyed I was returning the food that they just gave me which clearly was inedible. The food was excellent, they brought it out just a couple minutes after ordering. I was not able to catch his name, the young big black gentleman with a pearl necklace was fantastic. He was asking people about take out orders, he was waiting on tables, he took our straw wrappers, made sure we all had our food, and he even unjammed the paper towel machine in the restroom. Chick-fil-a is pretty much the only fast food we do. I like the fresh fruit option for the kids meals and the toys are always educational or family oriented (like games or board books for younger kids). We came to this Chick-fil-a on an especially hot day for a quick lunch. After lunch, my son climbed around for ages in the indoor, air conditioned play area. It was a great way for him to burn off energy on such a hot day. We met some other awesome kids there too and together they had a blast. So glad this location is here! I do not really understand this Chick Fil La location. They let you do mobile pick up only. On the door it says lobby and bathroom closed. Other chick fil la locations I've been to allows you to eat inside and order. Plus there bathrooms aren't closed. Make sure you got all the dressings or other toppings with your salad. There are some really dumb people working in this location. Last week or so I ordered a Market Salad and told them not to put any napkins or forks in my mobile order as I was going straight home. They took those out but forgot to put the granola and nuts. I didn't realize it until I got home and was really frustrated. But decided mistakes happen sometimes so just let it go. I went in there again today for the same salad and told them I don't need any napkins. Having learned from my last salad experience I checked if they put the granola and nuts in the bag but not for the dressing. And guess what these idiots forgot to put in this time? That's right! No, frickin' dressing at all. How the hell am I supposed to eat a salad without a dressing? So that went in the dumpster. Once is a mistake, twice is a habit. So I called the location to see what they wanna do about it and some arrogant dude told me to drive all the way back to this place for dressing. Since it was a mistake he said he could offer me a cookie and that's it. This location seems to be doing good business and that's probably the reason for his arrogance. It doesn't really matter to them even if a 100 customers had bad experiences cuz with the amount of traffic they have each day, it wouldn't make a dent in their revenue. I'm a regular at Chick-fil-A and I didn't feel least bit valued as a customer. I'll be using my rewards at another location and after that I'm done with Chick-fil-A altogether. Royersford PA, 10/12 noon, bringing my husband home from having knee surgery and getting him a wholesome treat. We order and see GF bun (extra cost) I order it. The bun is served in plastic. Not warmed, not toasted on the grill with the chicken, no dressing and not very good. What a awful surprise. How did I learn of this? I ask if they could cut my sandwich in half and they say no. I ask why and they say the gluten in the air could get on it. How stupid. I ask for the manager and he says no. So the chicken has been magically separated from the gluten air? I am expected to finish making this sandwich in my car? Yes that is what is expected. Should I park my car in the drive thru and demand service at the expense of the people behind me? Terrible service and terrible employee education. CFA can not guarantee a completely GF experience and employees can feel confident explaining that to customers if they are educated to do so. I thru the sandwich away. Very upsettinOther restaurants take reasonable care to make sure GF patrons can expect the same level of service as everyone else. This can as simple as using a clean work surface (new sheet of wax paper) clean knife, separate fryer, clean grill space or a separate toaster. So very disappointed Update. As others have said, the drive through can definitely pile up. But in a small town like Royersford - that says something good. People in a small town don't return quickly to a business where the wait isn't worth it - and it is here. In store - almost always clean (and when it isn't, there's always some bright faced teenager doing something about it), and always friendly. The staff never has less than a Sir or Ma'am on their lips. Drive through - the food comes fast, and honestly - for a single window drive through, it's not nearly as slow as some people think. I went to this location at noon on a Saturday, the busiest time of the day. I decided go inside to avoid the long drive-thu line only to find a long line inside. I was amazed at how quickly the line moved. I watched as the staff interacted with the customers at the counter and saw nothing but smiles. The staff was extremely polite and friendly despite how busy they were. Thank you for a great experience. We've had some issues at the location in Quakertown (so we don't really go there anymore) but the one in Royersford has never let us down. It does get crowded... so expect to wait in line -- but you can't go wrong with the food and service. read more

A few days ago I went here, ordered a meal that included a large chocolate milkshake on the chik-fil-a app. When I got to the window they handed me a chocolate milk. I showed them my phone that clearly said "milkshake" and said "hey I'm sorry I actually got a milkshake." The manager refused to give me a milkshake and stated that it was not her fault her system said otherwise even though my receipt on my phone said milkshake. The manager told me I was going to have to pay for a new milkshake even though my order said I was already charged for one. A few days later I decided to return to this chik-fil-a to give them a shot at redemption, and after proceeding through the drive through, being handed 2 bags of food I got back home to find out the order was missing a sandwich I had paid for. This restaurant also puts into practice the "random acts of kindness" that the company promotes, which means the employees will offer to get you a free refill and sometimes even get you another order of fries. This place is the one to go to and Royersford. It's run extremely well and is very popular, in fact, that's the only drawback that the lines are so long. The food Is always done right, they do a lot of fun events ( valentine's day, daddy daughter night, storytime, etc) there is a play place for the small kids. this is a mainstay place in the area. read more

Chick-fil-a is definitely one of the higher quality fast food restaurants. I don't get here often, but when I do, the service is always fast and friendly, and the food is delicious. You can tell you're getting real chicken here, not just mashed up chicken formed into patties. I typically get the spicy chicken sandwich or the chicken nuggets meal, which comes with a drink and their waffle fries. They have some of the best milkshakes as well. I'm sad that they are closed on Sundays, but it's nice that they don't make their employees work that day. read more
