I haven't had Chick-fil-A for a couple of years so today I decided to stop for lunch at the Murphy, TX location just before noon. The line at the drive up was long and 2 lanes wide but moved fairly quickly. I ate my food there in their parking lot but the food was not fresh tasting. The waffle fries were limp and barely warm as were the nuggets plus they were dark like the oil was overdue for a change. The ice tea was great but for almost $10 the chicken and fries should have been fresh out of the fryer instead of tasting like leftovers! read more

Every time I go I somehow find myself sitting behind a customer that's dealing with issues in the drive thru; resulting in me being stuck and getting my fast food in the slowest amount of time imaginable. I've never been to this particular location before but I happened to be in the area and stopped in. I never order the cinnamon rolls but I was in the mood on this day and much to my chagrin, I was disappointed to find out that it was no longer on the menu so I ordered a sausage burrito and hash browns instead and everything was served warm and tasty. The food is always great at Chick-fil-a as is the service. The only reason this visit wasn't a 5 star was because of the noisy obnoxious kids in the play area. My kids were in there as well but there were a few that were just out of control. It's a shame when parents let their kids behave that way. My food is always hot and fresh.Those kids standing outside-and at the drive thru window are polite every time I go. I'm disappointed in the lack of customer service at this particular Chick-fil-A. Last night, I went around 630 pm and waited in the drive thru. There were two guys taking orders and the first got done with his car and came back to where the second one was standing and started talking to him. I was in the shade of the building at that point. The second young man got done taking his order and the other told me to pull up right in the sun where I couldn't see the menu or barely see him. He didn't welcome me to Chick-fil-A, just asked for my order. I gave it to him. I pay and drive along to the window after a few minutes to get my food. The guy at the window barely spoke to me and just handed me my drink and my food. As I drove away, I realized I had gotten everything I ordered, but the food was lukewarm at best. I'm fairly new to eating at Chick-fil-A resturants, so I don't know if my experience has been the norm, but it has been excellent so here is my review. I've been to the Chick-fil-A in Rowelett on Lakeview Parkway (Texas 66) a couple of times now and the service has been exemplary every time. This location is extremely busy so come here on the off hours if you are impatient. I end up smelling this place and I have to eat there. I wish it were larger but the service makes up for it. It is Chick-fil-A and what can I say, it is great. Believe it or not, there are some Chick-fil-A(s) that are not as great as others and it is always in the customer service. I really like their fat free honey mustard dressing which has fewer calories and tastes much better and fewer calories than their honey mustard dipping sauce which is about 100% fat. So I always ask for that instead of their honey mustard dipping sauce. Some Chick-fil-A(s) don't get the order properly, and some charge you extra but some are generous. One packet honey mustard fat-free dressing can handle 24 chicken nuggets. So if you want it, give it a try and see how they trust you. See how clean the place is and how attentive the service. Almost every Chick-fil-A tastes the same but some are much better than others. Give this place a try! Now, you know you want to! LOL read more

I got a reward for a free smokehouse bacon bbq chicken sandwich. Great!! I couldn't wait so I walked in. I placed my order with savanna and asked if it would charge me to change the cheese. She looked and it said (.30) to .30. Even exchanged. I ordered a medium drink for $1.99 which is $2.15 with tax. I slid my card and it charged me $2.48 How? She said let me get a manager to give you your $.34. She comes over and say no it charges for cheese. How it's a credit? So i say take the sandwich back and give me the Colby jack cheese and give me the .34. She tells me no again. Like what??!! I then ask for someone else and he takes the sandwich back and gives me Colby cheese. Great i should get my .34 back. This manager then says he not giving my change back because i took lettuce off. I'm now getting upset cause it's .34 chick Fil a. Do you know how much money you get off me and you arguing over change. So I'm like forget it. Here is your tea just give me back my whole $2.48. He refunds my card $2.05. Like hell nawl that don't even cover my drink. The drink is $2.15. Again he starts talking about lettuce. You can't charge me for taking something off. This has been the worse experience EVER at chick fil a. Another manager came over and gave me my $.43 and took my drink and remade my sandwich. I should've been able to keep my drink with all the hassle i had to deal with for 15 minutes over THIRTY FOUR CENTS. SMH read more
