Whenever I get a chance to have Chick-Fil-A I try and stop. On my drive down to Florida we stopped at this particular Rocky Mount Chick-Fil-A. From the minute I walked in to order the staff was extremely polite and had that Southern Charm. They are all very well trained. I usually order the same thing every time. A Deluxe Chicken Sandwich Meal. A boneless breast of chicken, hand-breaded, pressure cooked in 100% refined peanut oil and served on a toasted, buttered bun with dill pickle chips, green leaf lettuce, tomato and American Cheese, Colby Jack, or Cheddar Jack Cheese. I chose Colby Jack Cheese. It comes with a drink and Waffle Fries. The chicken is crispy on the outside and real juicy on the inside. The cheese is melted, and the lettuce and tomato are cold. Great combination. I just love their Waffle Fries.I prefer them over Mc Donald's, Burger King, or Wendy's. They have a nice selection of dipping sauces to go with your meal. My favorites are their Original Chick-Fil-A , Polynesian, and my favorite Sweet and Spicy Sriracha Sauce. For my drink I ordered Sweet Tea and you get Free Refills. They have a good amount of seating. Once my order was placed they give you a colored table marker and your food is delivered to your table promptly. There was even a nice man who came around to get rid of any of our garbage and he offered to get us free refills on our drinks so we didn't have to get up. Chick-fil-A is definitely my favorite fast food style restaurant. I can see why it's so popular. Another trip to FL in the books and another stop in the Rocky Mount area. Is there any great reason we stop here every time down or back? No really, it's just seems to be where the car gets low on gas. Let me start by saying that a few years ago this CFA served up what was easily the most vile thing I have ever had at a CFA or probably anywhere. Their brief foray into the hell of a frosted sunrise was a mistake. It sounds easy enough to take the frosted lemonade and use orange juice instead right? Wrong, when the orange juice tastes rancid spoiled like it was left sitting out all day. Rant over. This was for breakfast and the biscuit meal and English muffin meal were good enough. I'm not a big fan of the CFA hash browns so I will only ever like breakfast here so much. Easy on/off 95 and even though they already had a line, things got processed quick enough. Terrible experience!! I placed my order via the mobile app and when I arrived I was asked to wait in the drive-thru reserved parking for a very simple chicken breakfast burrito. Ok no biggie... After waiting in the spot for over 20 min, I re-entered the drive thru lane (I had my sleeping newborn in the car so I was not about to go inside) to see what's the hold-up. Ended up with no food & late for my baby's doctor appt! I had to demand a refund as I was not going to wait any longer & they offered NOTHING for wasting my time! Awful service!!! This is by far the absolute worst chick-fil-a my family and I have been to. We stopped here on our way to the beach, and we will never make the same mistake again. The staff weren't as friendly as they are at other locations, the wait time was bad, and there weren't enough people there to compensate for the wait time. It took us 20 minutes to get through the drive-through to be told we needed to pull around and wait even longer (an additional 15 minutes) just for the food to not even be fresh, and the tea wasn't sweet either. I also got a milkshake that wasn't that good either, at least from what I tasted of it before realizing the lid wasn't put on properly and had it go all over my car. I never write bad reviews unless I feel it is necessary, so my advice is to completely avoid this location and find somewhere else to eat. read more

The dirtiest chick-FIL-A I've ever been to. Women's restroom wasn't clean or tidy, soap dispenser didn't work. All trash cans were overflowing. Most tables and seats needed to be wiped down. This CFA is one of my favorites places in Rocky Mount to stop by for a quick lunch. Service is always super fast AND friendly. I really like the attention I get from CFA employees while I eat my lunch. I don't mind walking up to the register for more drinks or sauces in general, but it's easier when the employees ask you if you need something while you are eating. I've never had any bad experiences at this location. I will continue to come back for my chicken sandwiches! During lunch rush hour, the parking lot will get super full and it will be hard to reverse your car from the parking spot. I prefer to park at the exit side of the parking spaces so I can easily pull out. If you park the moment you pull into it's parking lot, it's going to be hard to get your car out. read more

placed a mobile order and when I got to the store they said my order didn't go through. It did go through I received the receipt on my email and the money came out my account. I proceeded to explain to "Diane" that I paid for my order. She still didn't give me my food. The professionalism was trash. That was her job to handle the situation I had two hungry children and I wouldn't of sat in the long line for a meal I didn't pay for. As I can see in the transaction history a mobile order was place but I WAS NOT ABLE TO RECEIVE MY FOOD BECAUSE DIANE SAID I DID NOT PAY FOR IT. Food - Ordered the Superfood Side for the first time. I love kale so this hit the spot. The kale is cut into bite size pieces. The dressing is a tangy sweet dressing and then they give you a little bag of nuts to put on it. Topped it off with a diet lemonade - Wonderful! Will definitely be getting this again. This Chick-Fil-A location is outstanding, and in my opinion is like no other. When you walk in you are always greeted with a friendly, smiling face. This location is newly renovated, and so well managed. They are SUPER speedy, and the food is always served hot! The children's play area is clean and entertaining for the kiddos. This location is in the Walmart parking lot, so it can be difficult to navigate your way through the traffic. The Chick-Fil-A parking lot itself is usually packed and there is always a line for the drive through. Avoid peak times such as noon-2 and 6-7, if you want to avoid the packed parking lot. The owner of this location is super involved in the Rocky Mount community, and this does not go unnoticed. read more

We stopped at this location while on 95. It is about 5-7 minutes off the highway. Not easy access. While the staff and food was fantastic. It was very dirty in the restaurant. Absolutely unbelievable. I ordered 18 biscuits this morning so we ordered curbside service to give them a head start. We got there about 20 minutes later. Plenty of time. We then waited 25 more minutes in the curbside parking spot. When I went to the door to see what was the problem the manage was just flat out RUDE!! Telling me she doesn't have biscuits for 18 chicken biscuits. I told her I have given her 45 minutes of my time and our tournament starts in 45 minutes. Manager(s): Please clean your restaurant. It is FILTHY. If it's this filthy where the patrons eat and kids play, how does it look where the food is prepared? I used to inspect restaurants for health purposes and the floors in this restaurant where sticky and visibly dirty, dust was building up all over, glass windows had hand print smudges, counter tops needed to be cleaned better.
