We can always count on this location for great food and great service! The drive-thru line is usually long, but they are exceptional at managing traffic flow, so we're usually through in about 5 minutes. No matter how busy they are, they always greet us with a smile and treat us like we are valued customers. The manager Spencer Gotelli said that we can't order a bun and slice of American cheese. He said other Chick-fil-A's let you but he doesn't do it at his store. We have ordered this for my kid that is a vegetarian every single week for the last 3 years at this location. Spencer also had something to say under his breath as he was walking off. This guy is arrogant and has no leadership or customer service skills. I will make sure Chick-fil-A knows the type of person they have running their store. This location is such a disappointment to Chick-fil-a. Their chicken is always so weird and different. Like they use cheaper quality. They take forever, like the one time we waited literally 30 minutes for breakfast...and still got the order wrong. They just can't get anything right in my opinion. We have tried several times thinking it was because it's new...but no..it's still a crappy ChickFila, never thought I could say that. It was 3 on a Saturday and I saw they were a little busy, but I waited at the front for a good 3-5 min before anyone helped me, while there were at least 8 people standing around by the drive thru window. Ordered my meal, and he told me it would be right out. Had to ask for my drink because he didn't give me one. Then my fiancé asked for mac and cheese after I ordered so I went back and ordered it. Get in the car get half way home and opened the bag to grab the straws and realize they never gave me Mac and cheese just another fry. I should of been more careful and looked before I left(that's my fault) But they just seemed young and careless. Lots of standing around and joking and not paying attention. Sad. I love Chick-fil-A, but this place is not doing it the way you would expect. First, let me say that this was written during Covid19 so I appreciate the restaurant still being open for curbside. Thank you. Now, on to the food. I ordered on the app and when I got to the ordering area I was informed "this location no longer allows fries well done". Weird and why? I get my food and it wasn't fresh. There are literally 20+ cars in this line at all times so how could my food not be fresh?! You should be handing me hot food anyway but especially since it's car after car. I wouldn't expect the food is just sitting getting cold. The fries were not hot and soft; not crispy. Part of the flex is using state-of-the-art drones to study the "flow" of the drivethru lanes and make it more efficient down to the second. FOR YOU THE CUSTOMER! Seriously. They are the only Chik Fil A I know of in Texas that has created 3 lanes to help you get your food faster and frequently analyzes their efficiency to get better. But I have learned (from employees who work at this location) that this owner/manager have taken pretty much any advantage to working here away from the employees who faithfully work a 10 hour shift in the freezing cold outside serving 230 people per hour! If this owner and manager do not get back to the true beauty of what Chik Fil A is, they will lose their shining stars. And customers will dry up because the workers are sullen and depressed just like McDonalds or any other fast food joint. Chik Fil A was never meant to be just another fast food place. I usually don't eat out and prefer my home meals, but Chik Fil A has always felt like home. Chick-fil-A is always good idea, whether it be breakfast, lunch or dinner! I had chicken tenders on opening day in Prosper and they were fresh, piping hot and quick. Their dipping sauce selection offers a variety of flavors. My personal favorites are the "ChickfIl-A sauce and Siracha" (a little spicy but good). The staff on duty was courteous and attentive. I finished ordering and asked the young man at the counter for the military discount. All CFA restaurants in this area do it. I was then told this location does not partake. The lady next to me looked at the man taking my order and said you most certainly do, and I concurred. I then looked at Owner/Operator Chris Wright who was working the front and asked if this was true. He nodded that they do NOT provide a military discount. This Chick-fil-A is a hit or miss on the quality of food. 8/10 times the chicken is almost burnt and the fries are pulled from the fryer too soon. I understand they want to get everyone in and out quickly but you need to maintain quality control as well. Only reason for the 2 stars is the employees are always so friendly here. I don't know why but this location is hard of hearing. Every time I order a Greek yogurt parfait I ask for extra granola and they ALWAYS NEVER PUT THE EXTRA GRANOLA!! Today is probably the worst day of them all, I asked for extra GRANOLA and got ONE ROASTED ALMONDS INSTEAD! Like they do not even sound alike. They didn't acknowledge the "EXTRA" or the "GRANOLA"!!! I understand nowhere is perfect but you can't make that many mistakes with a loyal customer back to back!! Had a horrible experience. They got two orders wrong due to their staff needing more training. I ordered a Chicken biscuit with egg and cheese and had a reward in my app for a chicken biscuit. So they usually just charge me for the egg. They kept telling me I could not do that when I had to tell them yes I can, I've done it many times. I also told him at the window ordering that I wanted to get a small chicken nugget tray. So when I got up there they had to charge me $.62 for the egg and didn't put the nugget tray on my order so I had to pay for that separately. She rang it up for me to leave now when I said no I already told the other girl when I ordered that I wanted to pick it up at 11 AM. And she said oh let me tell the kitchen they're making it now for you. So then she asked me what sauces I want with it and I said oh just a variety. She hands me my receipt and says OK. So when I pull up and look at my receipt I see us the wrong chicken tray on there and I also see charges for all these condiments that are free. So my employee shows up at 11 AM to pick it up and they have no record of it being ordered. Then they try to blame it on me saying that I pulled off without giving them any information which is bull crap. And instead of filling the order at no charge because they screwed up big-time, they charged her! And made her wait without even offering a drink or anything. Poor, poor customer service. Untrained staff. I love Chick-fil-A food but this one needs a under hall in customer service and product training. read more
