I completely disagree with their political and homophobic views, which I can't understand why a company would need anyway, but I am putting that aside to review their food and atmosphere. This place is almost always busy. Especially the drive through. There is usually a line of cars circling the building for the drive through. But then again, this is the only C-F-A in the Mahoning Valley area (except for the one in the mall, which is about 3 miles away from this one). Their chicken is delicious. I like their chicken sandwiches way better than the chicken at KFC. I've tried several of their sandwiches, and my highest recommendation goes to the Spicy Chicken Deluxe, which is a spicy chicken breast, pepper jack cheese, lettuce, tomato, and pickles. Just delicious. Is it better than Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich? No....but it's second to Wendy's version only by a hair. Don't forget to order waffle fries with a side of cheese sauce (the cheese sauce is not on the menu, so you'll have to ask for it). Also their special Chic-Fil-A sauce, which is kept behind the counter, is pretty awesome too. It's like a bbq/honey-mustard mix. I had a friend bring a tray of CFA chicken nuggets to a party I threw once, and they were great. They were the first thing that we ran out of that night. Staff is fast and friendly. This Chik-Fill-A is fantastic. The people here are always friendly and provide great service. I always love Chik-Fill-A Chicken Sandwiches. The hash rounds are pretty good, they are lighter and flakier than their Burger King counterparts. If you don't want ketchup, I recommend Chik-fil-A mayo to dip them in. My first Chick Fil A experience happened here and it created a monster! First off, the service is always great, no matter what Chick Fil A restaurant you visit, in my experience at least. The chicken minis in the morning are amazing, the chicken sandwich with pickles is my favorite and sometimes for a snack, I like to get the chicken nuggets. The waffle cut fries are great, not my favorite but I like them. The star of the meals for me though is the Polynesian dipping sauce, it's by far the best dipping sauce EVER! It compliments the chicken nicely and I also like dipping the fries in it as well. So good! read more

First, this isn't my favorite fast food in the world, but all things considered, this restaurant is amazing. I've never seen a fast food restaurant operation that even compares to this particular store, and wouldn't be surprised if it's their highest-grossing store in the country. They recently rebuilt directly across the street from the original restaurant because their drive-thru couldn't accommodate the demand. I've sat here on a Saturday from 2:00-3:30pm and the drive-thru never had fewer than 23 cars lined up and I saw as many as 32 at one time--and it moves pretty quickly! Inside is insanely busy too. It's a very nice, modern restaurant, food is fresh and good, service is excellent and quite speedy (considering the number of customers)... an all-around impressive operation. Like I said, not my favorite fast food, but thousands of people must think differently, because this onslaught of customers can't all be wrong. This Chick-fil-a is always extremely busy so I rarely visit as it takes half my lunch hour just to get my food. Decided to go early today as I had a craving for the grilled sandwich and some fries w/ the awesome Chick-fil-a sauce! I was encouraged as the line was not too long - only two cars ahead of me in the dual-order lines so really four cars but who's counting? I stopped, checked my email, checked Facebook, checked email again before the line moved one car! Gave them my really quick and easy order and zoomed through to the window because after all that waiting, the line from ordering to window was short! Employees seemed to be chatting with each other as I pulled up (and when I pulled away). Grabbed my food, came home and found cold fries and no sauce (the best part missing!). If you visit, expect it to take 15-20 minutes to get your "fast food" and check your order to make sure everything is there - I've had something missing almost every time. This time sauce, last time napkins, you get the picture. The chicken was, as always, really tasty but not sure it is worth the effort sometimes. read more

Well what can you say its chick-fil-a! By far the best place to stop for a quick bite. That being said the drive thru is always packed which means business is booming. Employees are always friendly and checkup on you in the dining room, you wont find that at McDonald's across the parking lot. My most recent visit leaving i counted 18 cars in the drive thru and about 3 in the McDonalds. Their milkshakes are the best! read more

The first thing I did when I crossed over the Ohio border was see where was the closet Chick-Fil-A to where I was staying for the weekend. I was in a huge hurry to get lunch, but yet I didn't care if Chick-Fil-A was the reason I was late! I pulled up to the Boardman Chick-Fil-A and it was PACKED, at 2o'clock! Every spot in the parking lot was taken and the drive through was backed up to where you enter the line. Up ahead I could see employees taking orders on tablets, it was awesome. Chappy is one happy Chappy after my visit to Chick Fill A today. Me and the old lady went here for a little afternoon lunch. It seems this might be the busiest Chick-Fill-A in the whole wild world. A simple folk like me can't handle all those city slickers on their lunch hour, so we went inside. The woman and I both ordered a #1, one with no pickles, and two sweet teas. Them sweet teas are just like momma used to make, sweet, sugary and a perfect drink for a hot afternoon. WWooooEEE. Our food was served in seconds I tell ya! I was just grabbing some ketchup when it was already up. I enjoyed it, hot, with delicious buttery buns and just the right amount of pickles for Ol Chappy. Even the fries were hot, fresh and extra waffle-y. What a lunch! Chappy will be back. Skip the drive-thru and head inside, you'll get quicker service, it's a Chappy guarantee. read more

Between Southern Park Mall and this store as well as the two new stores in Las Vegas....I find consistent greetings with smiles and outstanding service! The managers generally work side by side with their employees. I wanted to commend store employee(s) and instead of manager in back office he was on the front line working. Best fast food ever! Never have I had bad anything there and I've been going since I was younger. The chicken is always crispy, hot, and juicy. The pickles always have a good crunch and the spicy chicken sandwich actually had a little kick to it. The Polynesian sauce is so good to dip the nuggets grilled and fried! We don't have Chick-Fil-A in Northern California so it's always fun to visit one. The line at this store was a little weird as people didn't form straight lines in front of the cash registers while they were waiting to order but rather all stood in the general area. I did like the original chicken burger deluxe (i.e. with tomato and lettuce) and the waffle fries. I am also a fan of the sweet tea since we don't get that in California either. So for those of you who don't have one of these nearby, I would recommend visiting this second largest chicken chain at least once when you come across one~ read more

It's all around a good Chickfila. The service tends to be slow at busier times, but they stay steady on getting orders out. The drive through lineup kind of sucks, but they've done the best they can to avoid people from lining up onto SR 224 which is right next to it. I've never had a wrong order, and I mean never. If you really need a suggestion I'd go with the classic plain chicken sandwich (I leave the pickles off) and the waffle fries are amazing. Try out their lemonade too. I've been to chick fil a many a time and love it. This is the first one I've been to where they go above and beyond, best service at a fast food place ever. I'm on road trip with friends right now and we stopped for breakfast upon entering the restaurant we were greeted (not even at the counter yet) and I went to the restroom very clean they even had a mouthwash dispenser! (not kidding) our cashier Lauren was very polite and had our food out to us in a timely manner, we were even offered mints and refills at our table by another employee! For a location and chain that everybody loves, I just don't understand how they are such an unorganized location. Every time I have gone to this specific location, I have wrong items, missing items, long wait times. And as someone who has worked in the food business for 8 years, I understand that mistakes happen but it's at the point, they probably owe ME money. But today was the final straw. I arrived at 3pm and decided to go through the 2 lane drive through. Now keep in mind I always expect to wait 10 to 15 minutes in line because they are constantly busy. But today I waited in line for 45 minutes. And I wouldn't usually be angry if it weren't for the fact that through this entire time, the second lane of customers had constantly been moving. While I, the 3 cars ahead, and 2 behind, waited 45 minutes with no way to leave because the lanes are blocked in. I started to count. 14 cars in the left lane were there and gone before I made it to the window. All I'm saying, is if you're gonna make a 2 lane drive thru with no exit, maybe you need faster workers. It was December 23 on our way to Downtown Youngstown Butler Art Museum and my husband wanted Chick-fil-A. What a delightful surprise at the holiday season. Staff in the holiday mood, reindeer head bands and ever so helpful. Food was ready before we paid, tasty salad and a wrap!
