Tried Chick Fil A at Yorkdale Mall just to see what the hype was about. I wasn't crazy about the food, overpriced and nothing special. Dry bland chicken and waffle fries that tasted like they came from a grocery store with sauce that is like sweet ballpark mustard.

*Read this to save time* Go straight to the QR code next to the resto to scan and order online. Of course you can just go to their website and order ahead of time. Highly recommend doing this. When you get there the long line looks intimidating but if you order online it's very fast. My order came out probably 10 mins after scanning and ordering online. This was my first time trying Chick-fil-A in Canada. My first time was in the states like 3-4 years ago. Ever since then, I remember it being bomb AF. However, after trying the spicy deluxe twice and Popeyes 3 times....do I dare say it? *gasp I think Popeyes is better lol. The thickness and crisp of the chicken at Popeyes is just unmatched. Anyways, like i mentioned, I scanned the QR code to order and after was instructed to proceed to a pick-up area. This is like the back of chick-fil-A and it's pretty efficient tbh. This is where Doordashers and Uber Eats pick up orders too. The process was seamless for us. My bf and I both ordered the spicy deluxe and waffle fries. The fries were actually the star of the show. They were better than I remembered. Literal potato pillows and paired with that chick-fil-A sauce?! That ish tasted like all dressed chips. Sooooo good. The chicken sandwich was good, don't get me wrong, but it could defs be a little thicker. I do love the bun and it just tastes all around good. It's really satisfying. Will I get this again? Of course lol.

I was about to give Chick-Fil-A 3 stars because, meh, overhyped chicken sandwich that's nowhere near the awesome chicken sandwiches in this city. But then as I continued to bite into the surprisingly juicy and surprisingly a-bit-bland deluxe chicken sandwich, and pop the overhyped waffle fries dipped in the properly hyped amazing Chick-Fil-A sauce, I had to check myself. This was a fast food chicken sandwich that cost me $7 not $14. I shouldn't be comparing this to the great sandwiches of Love Chix and PG Clucks, but to something I can get from KFC or Taco Bell or McDonalds. So yeah, 4 stars. ps: Lineup was long but moved really quickly. And this Chick-Fil-A is inside the mall, so no standing out in the cold like the downtown location.

For fast food this place is pretty good. I have tried both the grilled and fried chicken burgers and my favourite is the Spicy Deluxe which has cheddar, lettuce and tomato. I would say the spice level is a 4/10 so not really spicy for most people. The fried chicken is good, but the highlight of the meal for me is actually the side of waffle fries and Chick-Fil-A sauce! The line-ups can be long but the ordering process is fairly quick so the wait isn't as bad as it looks.

This weekend, my younger brother and I decided to sit in 20 mins of Toronto traffic (during the air show) just to get this drool-worthy burger (and the lemonade +waffle fries obv) I would highly recommend getting nuggets as well-- they're not like the average nugget, and frankly the BEST ones I've ever had Before going up to the foodcourt, you now have to scan an app and quickly just sign up to hold your place in a virtual line. You'll receive a text once it's your turn, and up you go! When you're in the food court, there's a separate area right next to Chick-Fil-A to place your order. A special recognition for Mazin who was VERY helpful and polite! Once you place your order, you're called over by another Chick-Fil-A employee to line up to then pay for & pick up your order. Very streamlined, and although there was a bit of a wait, the whole process from ordering to picking up the food, probably only took about 15 minutes at most. Also, we made the mistake of leaving the food court area, thinking the dining rooms were still open around the mall. This has changed-- they've turned them into areas to purchase "Yorkdale Gift Cards" instead. All in all, the drive over in heavy traffic was completely worth it, and I would definitely, DEFINITELY do it again ____________________________________________ Instagram | @6ixstreeteats

A day at chick-fil-a.... Y'all know chick fila is the joint!! I don't really have to say much about chick fila because the whole world pretty much knows they're AMAZING. You Definitely have to go sometime if you've never been. I got the spicy chicken sandwich combo with a side of nuggets & upgraded my drink to an iced coffee. This was so good! What really shocked me was the iced coffee. I don't really like ordering iced coffee anywhere because their always too sweet..... but this was the perfect blend of coffee and vanilla! P.S GET THE CHICK FILA SAUCE ! Just do it. The line moved very fast! Well organized. To be honest, I usually don't like fried chicken. I rather get fat with other food. I figure I will see what the hype is about especially this location is not like the downtown one where people have to wait outside (located in the foodcourt of Yorkdale Mall). The spicy chicken deluxe was so good. Juicy, and just the right level of spice and the batter was not too thick. The grilled nuggets were unique and nicely marinated too! I've asked for all the sauces to try my waffle potato fries. I find the polynesian sauce a little too sweet for me, I prefer the chick fil a sauce, the rest of my collection, I have yet to try. The service was good. Will I come back? Did Chick fil a change my view on fried chicken burger? Yes and yes! Will definitely come back!

There always seems to be a long lineup all the time at this place but it moves pretty quickly to be honest. The service is very fast and when taking your order the employees are typically very nice and hospitable which the brand is known for. Unfortunately their food just always tastes mediocre and not worth the hype compared to other fast food chain's chicken sandwiches. Everything was just super dry and bland including their nuggets, I expect it to still be juicy and not having it solely rely on dousing everything in their sauces. Probably would go for other options at the Yorkdale Foodcourt.

A lot of people might find chick-fil- A overhyped but we gotta remember that this is just a fast food joint and when you compare their chicken sandwich to other restaurants like KFC and Popeyes this is as good as it gets! Food is always better when it's eaten right away. Their chicken is crispy and juicy! I've tried their nuggets before but didn't eat them right away and it was dried and stale so it's hard to say but I would just stick to their chicken sandwich and waffle fries! The line ups might look long and intimidating but it actually moves relatively fast. From my experience; from the line up to the food being in hand it took about 30 mins.

Absolutely ridiculous after spending almost $100

First time at yorkdale location. Only been to bloor location only. And no complaints.....Until now. Lineup was long which is understandable. We spent almost $100 to discover all the fries were half filled only. MAKE SURE U CHECK YOUR FRIES ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE. Look at the pics. Every single box of fries was half filled. Absolutely ridiculous.

The go to fast food place at Yorkdale. Seems like half the food court was eating here. Spend the extra money to get the deluxe sandwich. Overall pretty good

I think about the sweet iced tea all the time. Waffle fries are solid and so is the burger - very crispy and juicy. The spicy burger is actually spicy.

Disappointed, I opted for a new addition, to be told that they could only put the dressing on the side in a take out bowl, as the dishwasher was broken. The whole reason I love this place is because they add the dressing and serve in lovely, large bowls. They also only do takeout if you go in a hour before closing. Will give it another try, but feel it's going down hill. We left and went elsewhere for a salad. If the server had agreed to mix the dressings in the takeout bowls, we would have purchased them. Apparently they couldn't accommodate. I don't want a takeout, deconstructed salad. That's what made Mandy's so good, but I think they've missed that point. The place was empty on an early Sunday evening. Quite disappointing.

There were barely any walnuts, and despite paying for extra cranberries, there were hardly any included. The kale made up most of the salads, yet it was tough & difficult to chew. Most importantly, these salads were by no means worth the price. For what was charged, I expected fresh ingredients and a reasonable balance of toppings. Instead, I received bowls that were mostly kale and quinoa, with the premium ingredients largely absent. What turned a disappointing meal into a terrible experience was the complete lack of accountability afterward. When I contacted Mandy's, I was directed to Uber Eats. Unfortunately, dealing with Uber Eats customer support was even more frustrating than receiving the food itself. The support process felt automated, impersonal, and entirely focused on closing the complaint rather than addressing the issue. Despite providing details about the poor quality of the food, my concerns were not taken seriously and no meaningful resolution was offered. Customers order through delivery platforms expecting some level of protection when food arrives in unacceptable condition. In this case, neither the restaurant nor Uber Eats seemed willing to take responsibility. Poor food quality is one thing; poor customer service from both companies makes the experience far worse. I won't be ordering from Mandy's again, and this experience has significantly reduced my confidence in Uber Eats as well.

If you are aiming for healthy eats, then this is the place to hit up. Its in the downtown core and is accessible. They also offer a killer Portuguese Tart to wrap up a meal! CONs Unfortunately, this is where it goes off the rails a bit. Some of the cons to the location is that the price point isn't in line with other similar locations in the area. I get more salad/rice bowls from Salus just up the street for $5 cheaper. There is no differentiator between the two on this level. I think its reflected in the customer presence as well as I've rarely seen the location filled at lunch. I would say the return for a $20 rice bowl, the amount of rice and protein provided was concerning and miniscule in comparison to competitors in the area. The last con I have is that the location doesn't operate in cash which may be uncommon these days, but it can be annoying to those who do and don't have alternative ways of paying. The food is fine, but comparable and cheaper options are available nearby. I have no compelling reason to return here and that is one of the issues I face when I think about this location. Give the public something different or at a more competitive price to succeed.

Whenever someone brings up something foolish that I did in my youth, I touch the back of my hand to my forehead, toss my head back and proclaim "Oh but t'was in my salad days, when I was green in judgement!" LOL. I really should have been an actress! But enough about The Bard and my career choices, what about the food, right? It was good. I had the Salad Days Special ($8.49). It was romaine and iceberg lettuce, sweet potato mash, 2 dolmades (grape leaves stuffed with rice and spices), tomatoes, cucumbers, kalamata olives, feta cheese, hummus, tzatziki, and your choice of chicken, cooked salmon, smoked salmon, tuna, meatballs, smoked ham or falafel. I chose cooked salmon and asked them to hold the hummus. The salad was huge, but the majority of it was lettuce. Still, a really good deal for $8.49. The cooked salmon was a good size, which I liked. It was cold, but still flavourful and didn't smell fishy. I would have preferred it if the kalamata olives had the pits removed, but they were still ok. They have other set salads or you can make a custom salad. Their model is like Freshii, but I like them much better than Freshii. Staff were nice and efficient. So this is the location in Cumberland Terrace, just west of Yonge. They have another location really close by in The Hudson's Bay Centre, just east of Yonge.
