Love the family vibe here! You can order from your table via app, while watching your kids play on the indoor play land through the glass wall. Your order gets delivered to your table and an attendant comes around to provide excellent service- drink refills, sauces, etc. perfect for parents who want/need a break. Food is always hot and tasty. They are quick to fix any mishaps. We come here at least once a week. Definitely download their app. You get rewards frequently. PEOPLE WITH YOUNG KIDS/TEENS PLEASE READ As a former Chick-fil-A employee, I'm incredibly disappointed in what I witnessed at the Mint Hill location today. While waiting for my food, I saw a young girl -- maybe around 11 or 12 -- receive the wrong drink. She had clearly wanted a Sunjoy (a mix of tea and lemonade), but was given just a tea. You could tell she was shy and hesitant to speak up, but eventually she worked up the courage to go back to the counter to politely explain the mistake. Instead of simply fixing the drink -- which is what any decent team member should do, especially when it's obviously a child and likely their error -- the staff made her pay for a whole new lemonade to make the Sunjoy. It was honestly hard to watch. The poor girl looked embarrassed and unsure, and no one made an effort to make it right or show her a little grace. Having worked at Chick-fil-A myself, I know firsthand that the standard is to go above and beyond for guests -- especially kids. This wasn't just poor customer service. It was a moment where kindness was needed, and this team completely dropped the ball. This location needs to remember what the "my pleasure" philosophy is actually supposed to mean. 11/23/2023 update We are very disappointed with this location. Read the reviews it's true. Long waits. Orders not right. Plenty of help walking around talking. Wait 10 minutes for 2 vanilla cones. Than today when placing our order the girl was rude. This isn't a Chick-fil-A. I expect this from McDonald. I will drive to Indian trail or Mathews. Never a bad experience at either. Poor customer service. Zach (reportedly a manager but name tag didn't indicate such) needs training in customer service. The order was incorrect, he provided no apology despite us having to drive back to the restaurant. Chick fil a used to be known for the experience and service. This place is disorganized. This is not the typical Chick-fil-A experience. Chick-fil-A corporate policy states masks outdoors are optional. Some outdoors workers wore masks, some did not and some wore them without covering their nose (Why?). I'm not thrilled with an unmasked employee leaning towards my open car window to take my order. Other local Chick-fil-A stores have masked employees taking in-car orders. The workers packing and delivering orders did have masks. I wouldn't consider dining in until their Covid procedures improve. The double take-out line did not move evenly. The outside line was empty before the inside line reached the covered area. Employees seemed to walk around to cars randomly. They did not get our order right the first time but seemed to catch their mistake. However a deluxe sandwich did not have cheese even though the outdoor order-taker repeated the order to me with cheese. Delivery (only two sandwiches and two drinks) was very slow. At least four cars behind us received their food before we did. I will stay away from here until at least a month goes by. Maybe they can approach the performance level of other local stores by then. read more

Far and away the best Chick-fil-A I've ever been to. We just moved to this town and we go here often. The town we moved from had the WORST Cfa on the planet! This location does everything right. Anyone giving it less than 5 stars needs to get out more! The staff are so polite, friendly, helpful and patient. This is an update to my two previous reviews. On this visit, the mobile app carryout feature was available! It drastically reduced my wait time. I waited no more than five minutes for my food, once I entered. There was a little confusion as to whether my grilled chicken sandwich combo came with a drink or not, but otherwise it was a seamless and effortless transaction! I've tried really hard to give this location a chance. But three strikes, you're out. The line is always backed up, and I've rarely gotten through the drive-thru in under 20 minutes. I always use mobile ordering and these guys STILL manage to mess up my orders. Missing items, incorrect orders, etc. The staff is usually ok, but today was an exception. Drive thru employee never smiled and truly seemed annoyed to be at work. She told me I was "all set" after giving her my name for the mobile order...and she never put it in! I sat through the line only to find that they never got my order. No apologies, no offers to fix it. No one said a word except "please drive up and park, your order's not ready." And when they finally brought it out, it was missing fries and the drinks were all wrong. Had to get out of my car and walk back to the pick up window. No one seemed too concerned. I mentioned the employee that messed up and they didn't seem to care about that either. If I ever do return to this location, it will not be in the drive-thru. read more

I was so excited that they opened this Chic-fil-A in Mint Hill. I would always go the other franchise on Albemarle Rd. I thought let me give this one a try since it's closer to me. Needless to say I will not be going back to this Chic-fil-A. The service was so bad. I went inside because the drive-thru was moving on turtle time. When I went in I was the only person ready to order. I waited several minutes there waiting to order or even be acknowledge. When I finally got to put my order in , I had to wait an additional 15min to get my food--again, I was the only person at the register. While standing there waiting, I observed the staff goofing around, none had mask on properly. When I saw the manager (also not wearing mask properly) coming their way, I thought surely they'll start to work, but instead the manager joined in on their fun showing pics of his cat on his cell phone. All this while there's a long line at drive-thru and me waiting patiently for my food to come out. It's in a very busy part of town, and now that the Matthews one has been demolished, it's the only one around. Just came to check hours tbh but then I saw the reviews and honestly felt like I had to give a review for the ratio. It was a little rocky in the beginning I'll admit but they had to get in the groove. It took a little longer when it first opened(which was realistically not THAT long ago so chill) but now they've sped up a lot and they have NEVER gotten my order wrong. Chick Fil A is normally so good at what they do! Unfortunately, this location is not anywhere near the normal high quality service that is received at these restaurants. It is sad. It is a great location with a lot of opportunity. I have been there twice: both times used the drive thru. Neither met normal service times, but the last time was especially slow! We sat in the drive-thru for 32 minutes and they literally parked us when we got to the pick up area. I couldn't believe it. We order 2 #1's. Nothing special. There were lots of staff standing around. The weather was fine (chilly, but doable), but those taking orders were standing inside looking out the window taking orders. ALL of those who normally run the food in the drive-thru were gathered at the pickup area. No one was working the line like you see at other locations. I hope they can get it together. Mint Hill WAS excited about what could be an awesome addition to our community. read more
