Visited this McDonald's early morning. Lakisha was taking our order she was very rude seem like she didn't want to be there. She told us to proceed to window we didn't see anyone standing first window so we proceeded to the next window. I guess she walked back to her station which was the first window open the window and scream "uggh they aggravating" she seemed upset when taking our payment. All I have to say is if you didn't want to work don't show up because she definitely didn't have to be rude especially call us annoying we heard her while parked at the second window and her at the first window she could have kept the comment to herself vs screaming out the window. She should definitely reevaluate her position and attitude. read more

this is by far the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. The workers at this location consistently have the worst attitudes with anyone I've ever met & I work with the public. That says A LOT. ZERO customer service skills, ZERO manners, ZERO regard for customers. I've been here several times and it has been the same every time. I've had employee roll their eyes at me, huff and puff under their breath, slam the drive thru window when I corrected a mistake with my order. I've consistently missed food items, food quality is poor and they seem to always be messing around with eachother on the inside instead of doing the job they are getting paid to do. If you're that unhappy with your job that you slam things and roll your eyes at a customer and throw the receipts @ someone who was nothing but nice- maybe you should get a new one. Good Lord why do I keep giving these guys a chance ? First off, they do get you through the drive-thru pretty quickly but then almost always are asked to pull up or park in one of the # spaces. Then, when the person comes out to deliver your order you check it first then always have to ask for something that was forgotten in the bag. The one guy there that I seem to get stuck with looks like he wants to be anywhere but here then when you ask him to please add the items that were missing you get a go to hell look. This place is right up there with Wendy's in MH so far as cust serv/attitude but again, they do get you pushed through whereas if you are at the Wendy's drive-thru you may want to bring a newspaper or good book to read while you wait a half hr behind 2 other cars. Sticking to Showmar's or Chick-fil-A out that way for now on...at least they act like they give a damn at those places compared to these miserable establishments. read more

Upon entering the establishment, I was quite excited, as the facility is clean, appeared new, and cozy. I ordered via the self order kiosk, as I typically do. I was not given a receipt, so I wasn't sure of my order number. Luckily I was sitting with friends, so our orders all came out together and the employee was able to deduce who's order it was. However, the general atmosphere of this restaurant was abysmal. The employees were rude, outright yelling at customers. One employee said "ORDER 935, GOING ONCE, GONE" all before the poor girl was able to walk up to the counter from a back table. Another employee yelled at a fellow employee and generally treated her like an idiot, which was tough to see. They all ignored customers standing at the counter asking for their orders or refills, which is a bad look because they don't have self serve refill stations. We came here last Thursday night after my daughter's softball practice for a quick bite to eat since we missed dinner. It was anything but quick! First of all they have two lanes and we were in the outside lane and they clearly took the person's order ahead of us and then the inside lane, then took the next 3 orders from the inside lane only, so we pulled up to order at the window and tell them they let three cars ahead of us and we had a mobile order. First the teenage girl texting on her phone told us they didn't have our order when we gave her the code and we asked her again to check because our app clearly told us we put in the order and gave us the code at the correct McDonald's. After she finished texting on her phone she didn't say she had the order, just rudely handed us the receipt. Then we went to pick up the order they asked us to park up at the door, and we did, but NEVER will again! We waited after about 6 more cars went around us and then I went inside and asked to speak to the manager, well she was too busy to talk to us. Now I get it, I am sure it is not an easy place to run with teenagers of this generation, but other restaurants like Chic-Fil-A absolutely thrive on their hard working labor. So after I went in they wouldn't let me talk to the manager and the person I did talk blamed it on waiting for fries, so I asked if the 6 cars who just went around me not one of them got fries? Of course no response and then they quickly gave me my two bags wanting me to get out of there since me as the customer was of course a pain in the you know what to them. Of course our sandwiches were cold. I don't know what has happened to this McDonald's, this is our local McDonald's and it did not used to be like this at all. Management has definitely changed and it has gone downhill fast. I hope they can turn it around! I would start by firing the girl texting while she should be taking orders and paying attention to who is next. I make deliveries for Uber Eats customers. At 10:02pm, an order popped up for McD's while I was dropping off my current order. I accepted the order. I immediately headed there. I arrived at 10:34pm. (I have an app that shows my locations and times so I can measure my mileage.) I checked the restaurant door, because it states the dining room is open till 11pm. The door was locked, so I proceeded to the Drive Thru pick up line. (You might be surprised how busy McD's is at that time!) At around 11pm, I received the order at the window. The employee stated (rudely!) that the order had been sitting there for an hour. She was a middle aged person, or older, so felt responsible to reprimand me for being slow and lazy. In reality, she is the one who doesn't care about her customer. Perhaps she assumed all delivery drivers are closeby, maybe that they are the same as local mobile order customers who pick up their own food. Maybe other delivery drivers have been closer to the restaurant than I was. Perhaps fast food workers also have no idea how long it takes customers at the Drive Thru: at least 30 minutes these days! They should know, if they have good management. After all, their entire job, what they get paid for, is customer service. So, at 11:01pm, I selected "start delivery" on my app and followed the navigation instructions. I dropped off the customer's order at 11:06pm. I had texted the customer what the employee had said about it sitting there for an hour, and that my app proves the times her order was accepted by me (during a 30-second offer period or it goes away), and the time I arrived at restaurant, and the times I started and finished my delivery. I told her that I hoped her food was not ruined by the restaurant. I understand that they might be short on staff, so I don't mind waiting. I don't have to--I could cancel the order and pass it on to someone else, but it might as well be me. I like to see happy customers and I'm satisfied to serve them as best as I can. However, the restaurant apparently made the mistake of filling the order as soon as the customer ordered it. The app on their end gives them my expected arrival time (as it also tells me when I'll arrive), so it didn't make sense for them to start prepping the order until at least 10:34ish. Knowing they were Drive Thru only, they should have waited until 10:45 or--best--until they heard me at the kiosk. I advise them to treat all delivery orders as if we are live customers, and in the order we arrived. Another time I was there to pick up inside the dining room. No one acknowledged me, but I eventually found the order number on the TV screen behind the counter, listing "in progress" and "ready." So I waited patiently. The number disappeared. After standing there 20 minutes looking at a big bag next to a chocolate milkshake back on a counter near the stoves and ovens, I eventually found out that it was my delivery sitting there all that time. I had to have them remake the shake for their customer. This restaurant seems unable to handle delivery orders. I've been accepting them from there since early July, and they still haven't come up with a working system. Wouldn't they figure out a better way, if they actually cared about their customers? They seem to take customers for granted, but also, why be rude to me? I am there to help them earn more business! I cannot recommend anyone to select this restaurant from Uber Eats. read more

I wish i could leave negative stars. This place has been horrible since i moved to mint hill in 2016.... Whoever owns this franchise should be stripped of it, revoked and a new owner set in place. They are NEVER OPEN.. they claim to close at 1, pull up at 12:25 CLOSED! Lazy bums. I understand Covid and all. However, I went last Sunday and went in drive thru, the young lady who took my money had the thickest dirt under her fingernails. It was a huge turn off. Then I was sent to a waiting area, although there was no one behind me in line. There was someone else in the waiting area though. Looks like they were just sending ppl over there. I waited all of 5 min, a young lady walks slowly to my car after laughing w some one sitting outside, says "sorry for the wait love" and gives the coldest damn food my son has ever turned down. Would give 0 stars if I could. The slowest service I've ever seen-respectfully. They have a new rule for delivery drivers that you have to come inside to get the food. No other McDonalds near this area requires you to do this and they just want you to to wait so their drive thru line time isn't high. I give credit where credit is due but this store deserves no credit. S/o to the black guy worker who currently has blonde hair.. he always tries to get people in and out but there's only so much he can do by himself. Did drive thru here when I needed a quick meal. I wish I could sit down and have a nice relaxing meal, but sometimes I don't have enough time - or good company to spend with. Well I went to this location after work so it was right before 6pm and they had nothing but teenagers working at that time. The young lady at the first window was a teenager and she had an attitude for no reason, she was rolling her eyes and sucking her teeth. She was clearly pissed off but it wasn't with me because all I said to her was hello and thank you. The manager needs to tell them that if they're mad, their customers do not need to know. Worse McDonald's ! Went to buy a #7 and a #2 . I just grabbed the bags and drove home . 4 mins drive and I got home And food was cold . And that's not it . My #7 was supposed to be a Fish sandwich not a Chicken sandwich . Horrible . My wife took a bite and said I thought that McDonald's was good . I came thru the drive thru on Saturday 9/7. Odered a cheeseburger for $1.06. Gave the cashier a 20.00 and received no change. Went back to get my 19.00 and the GM tells me she had no overage drawer. That is unacceptable and plain ridiculous. She did no research and no effort to confirm or deny they owed me my hard earned money. This McDonald's is the closest to my home in Mint Hill but I will never go back and give them a dime!! Unacceptable and a huge lack of integrity. The service is constantly slow and below par but I go there time to time as it is the closest to me. This is the WORST McDonald's I've ever been to. Every time I come to the drive through I have to wait 10 minutes or more to order. I was just in line to order and they were not taking my order (I was in the second lane) and they kept taking orders in the first lane. This is not the first time it happens. I also have heard that the "system is down" and they can only take cash. When I get my food, it is incomplete, very dry or burnt, and the grand "the ice cream machine is not working" excuse is used almost every time I come. It takes a lot for me to be disappointed but this is just too much. I do not recommend this location AT ALL. I would leave zero stars but that's not an option. They were backed up so the manager was literally yelling in the kitchen at her very slow employees and I ask for a sweet tea which I received unsweetened and she told me to go around at the drive thru to replace my drink with coc product since she has no control over the SWEET TEA MACHINE !
