Hello, I wanted to eat a wrap today. A healthy wrap. So I decided on the grilled chicken wrap. The visit was ok. The wrap was just ok. I guess the thing that was the most frustrating is that when I was placing my order, I asked could I order my wrap with extra chicken. The server could not answer my question so he called his supervisor on his walkie talkie and asked the question. The supervisor was loud and rude with his answer, "NO!!" We were both taken back but I thought to myself ok. So the only way that I could have extra chicken on with my wrap is to order a side of grilled nuggets for $4 and some change. I complied and ordered the side of nuggets. Once I got home to sit down to eat my meal the experience started to resonate. I just spent $14.07 for a below average sized wrap and nuggets. Also, the ratio of meat to lettuce in the wrap was too lopsided. Tons of lettuce and very little chicken. This has to be the most expensive price I have ever paid to get a tortilla wrapped in mostly lettuce. I know folks love Chick-fil-A but their luster is starting to fade with me. I am on a mission to shorten my list of fast food restaurants and regular ones that I will not be a patron. Mainly do to the quality of service these days where companies are not hiring the right personnel nor do they put emphasis on satisfying the customers anymore but will still take our money. Restaurants need to know that they have to EARN our business or they won't receive it. Chick-fil-A has always been on the top of it's game with polite personnel and they get the orders correct 99% of the time but the ability to be flexible and be able to adjust some orders as requested by a customer leaves me no other choice but to add Chick-fil-A to my list of not patronizing in the year of 2025. Food - chicken biscuit sandwich - The chicken biscuit sandwich IS a bit dry. Sauce will help a lot. The biscuit tastes buttery, I would eat it separately with jam. The chicken itself is good with any of their sauces, but particularly with ketchup, or their original sauce that tasted like honey mustard, or the buffalo sauce. Service - Pretty busy in the drive through. Services was quick. They should have more QR codes along the mobile drive through line. If you have trouble with your app, luckily you can talk to an employee and they can still help you. Unique - They have a mobile line separate from the drive thru line. Every single week, I come straight from a 12-hour overnight shift for the same order: hash browns, honey roasted BBQ sauce, ketchup and a mocha cream cold brew with light ice. Let me start with the positive...out of all places, Chick-fil-A and Better Buzz are the only ones who actually understand what "light ice" means, so credit where it's due. Now... if you've never had a Chick-fil-A mocha cold brew, it tastes like the best chocolate milk you've ever had. Or at least it used to. The last three weeks...absolutely not it. Hunger had striked and while I would rather spend my money elsewhere, we found ourselves in the drive-thru, having been at our social limit for the day. 12-ct nugget with a side of mac & cheese was ordered. I work in Mesa right now for my job. Didn't know almost a year ago there was a Chic Fil A less than 3 miles from where I work. Love to go there on my way to work for breakfast in the morning or when going there for pickup dinner in the way home. I met the staff always great there. We cannot have regular sugar and we order diet and got a regular. I asked for a kale crunch salad lg. the container was barely filled. The lettuce tasted weird and it came with no crunch sides. I didn't eat it due to it being a strange taste and wilted. My bill was $30 something dollars but had to throw away our drinks and the salad. I like chick fil a because the service is fast and the food comes out hot and tasty. Mostly the same at each place since it's a chain. Interesting that they have different service sets these days. Some locations are mostly drive through only. The older locations have seats and aren't as drive through oriented. This is a relatively new location that is drive thru/ walk up only. There is no lobby and there are no indoor tables. That's great when it's winter in AZ, but when it's summer, it's basically take-away only. They have 3 lanes in the drive through; one for mobile orders and two for ordering in person. We chose an in person lane. There was a car ahead of us ordering at the menu, so a guy came up with an iPad to take our order. There was no menu or anything to look at while we tried to order, which I wasn't a fan of. I guess if your whole party knows exactly what they want, it's fine, but that wasn't the case for us. Good thing it wasn't very busy because we would have greatly slowed the line down if we couldn't have eventually look at the menu. I ordered a side of Mac n cheese which I was looking forward to because it seems like people say good things about their Mac n cheese. It was a letdown. Very mushy and no flavor. Strange location, have been here twice the past 2 months after visiting a near by hospital. Unlike other locations, this one the employees do not seem happy. Let me go a step further and brag about the manager I approached later in the day when I realized a teeth retainer container had been thrown away. He did the rough work and returned a text in about an hour telling me he had retrieved the retainer and that it was at the store waiting to be picked up again! What amazing staff you have here!
