This location is on NJ-72 is conveniently placed, nearby to groceries and other stores. The store is one of the largest I've seen and the staff are efficient and friendly. They got my order wrong, I ordered a chick fil a sandwich with no pickles AND they gave me 10 ct nuggets. Also the teenage cashier Gianna (yes I'm name dropping you), kept on saying "Huh? I'm not one to normally go to fast food spots but when on the road, sometimes you just have to! My cousin was craving chicken nuggets so we stopped here. The drive thru line was the most efficient one I have ever been in. They take your order while you're waiting (you don't have to pull up to a window, they come to you!) First visit...I went inside for carryout. Not too long of a wait. Got nuggets with a specific request to remember to get the chic fil a sauce...boom remembered! Get mac n cheese...boom remembered. I went to this location yesterday around 7pm and the service was so slow. It surprisingly wasn't very busy and only about 3 people were in front of us but it took much longer than normal to get the food. Every chick fil a I've been to other than this one is fast and efficient. They did fulfill the order correctly which was good. The fries at this location were extremely salty as well, which isn't normal for them. I will most likely not stop at this location again. read more

We are sooo excited to have a Chick-fil-A so close to us! Finally! We love there chicken sandwiches, cookies, brownies, milkshakes and so much more! This is a new location so be ready to be patient! It is worth the wait! The service is fast and friendly! The food is juicy and tasty! The reason I give 4 stars instead of 5 is because they need to figure out how to get drive through area away from the dining entrance. Food is always great, just be cautious using different Delivery platforms as opposed to going in yourself. I've received open bags multiple times with the "sealed for care" sticker just stuck to the side of the bag. Most times if I'm ordering for lunch it's because I'm tied up and really just can't make it out. I think everyone is a little cautious when it comes to someone else handling your food and sealing the bags is a great added step. This place needs a secret shopper visit from someone that matters. One of the worst chick fil a experiences in the area. Why are the fries soggy at this location every single time? Why do the workers seem like they have no idea what they are doing? Such a shame because this is a brand new location and took forever to open. Someone please help! I love Chic-fil-A but this one is absolutely horrible. I ordered food with a peach milkshake and after waiting 20 minutes they brought my food and said the shake would be along shortly. After another 10 minutes I finally had to ask for it. But before any of this even happened I had to wipe off my table because I couldn't find a clean one. Always a long wait. No communication on order status from most employees. Even when the food is done, one employee sits the bag on the counter and walks away and the food sits there waiting for another employee to come up and seal the bag. My wife and I went to try Chick-fil-A on Route 72 in Manahawkin place was very busy which is good for them we selected our items and took them home looking forward to try this new place out. Once we unpack our food and I ordered the chicken nuggets and the spicy chicken sandwich along with the mac and cheese and the waffle fries. Starting off with the fries and Nuggets very disappointed because they were very oily the nuggets the coating was falling off. The mac and cheese was apparently under the heat lamp too long because it was like eating plastic once you got by the plastic feeling The Taste was very good they just need to stop overheating it under the heat lamps if that's what they use. The spicy chicken sandwich I must say it was very good and it's probably the best out of all the takeout places. However I feel that Kentucky Fried Chicken it's still a better tasting chicken when it comes to tenders which they have and doesn't have all that greasy texture to it. So on your five star rating I give you two stars if you get that oily issue under control then maybe I would try it again. I guess we'll have to wait to see when the novelty of the new Chick-fil-A restaurant opening up wears off to see with the Loyalty following is. read more
