Awesome old school diner vibes with a modern twist. This was the perfect place to grab some breakfast without having to go to the island on a Saturday morning. I loved the decor. Very eclectic and although updated, still felt old school in the best way. The place was also very clean - you can tell they take a lot of pride in their restaurant. There were plenty of options on the menu to choose from. It was honestly hard to decide since everything sounded so good. I settled on the UWS toast which was covered with fresh guac, veggies, and the most perfect soft boiled eggs. It was light and delicious. It was also a cute touch how the iced coffee was served in mason jars. I will definitely be back!

This brunch/dinner restaurant was updated from a diner that had been in town for many years. Everything has been changed from the decor, adding an outside dining area, to the menu. The items on the menu are a refreshing change and it's now BYOB. I've been here a few times since it's been redone and each visit gets better. The service is great, the staff is attentive and the food is served quickly. I will definitely return.

We recently had dinner here and were glad to be seated about an hour before closing. The food was excellent. I ordered the chicken pot pie which is on the list of specials. It had just the right ratio of crust to filling. Service was very good. Our server was attentive throughout dinner and was quick with drinks and appetizers. He also was sure to check in on our needs before the kitchen closed and things were cleaned. It's a newly renovated place and it nice to see the old character of the diner. I just wish the lighting was a bit better. I think many would like the mood lighting at night but its just not to my taste. Pricing was reasonable for the amount of food and quality of the meal.

New and improved local diner is definitely a must try! I was excited to try the recently added outdoor seating area for breakfast with the family. We entered the diner to be seated by the hostess and were very impressed with the updated retro welcoming feel of it. The decor reminded me of a popular trending restaurant in Nashville. We asked to be seated outside and we were accommodated right away. We enjoyed sitting under the large umbrella and near the beautiful planters filled with Lillies and vinca vines. The menu is NOT overwhelming and very impressive. Some items I can't wait to try next time. We absolutely loved all of our meals and they were portioned perfectly and plated just right. I would definitely recommend the Skillet for breakfast and if you're in the mood for a sweet meal, try the red velvet cheese pancake. This was filled with the most delicious cheesecake. Definitely try! The service was efficient and friendly! Can't wait to try dinner next time.

Bacon was crispy n perfect. Didn't even have to ask for it that way

Make sure to grab both the breakfast and lunch/ dinner menus cuz you're gonna miss something good if settle for just one. Stellar Smashburger section , diner classics , Mexican, and best appetizer list of any of the local diners. Really good coffee , great service , prices all made sense. Crispy delicious bacon too. Almost forgot about that. I went with a birria short rib n cheese quesadilla and crispy pork belly bao buns cuz it was 12:20pm. Both were delicious !! Can't wait to come back n try that Cuban and rock shrimp tempura app.

Never wrote a review for Mainland and it's where we eat the most so that doesn't make any sense…read more Time to redeem myself. We love this place. They got a nice rotation of local beers mixed in with the big boys and they can do a mean cocktail too. Buffalo cauliflower is my fav app on the menu.. plenty of hot sauce and blue cheese and all the sandwiches are equally tasty. Chop salad is another sneaky one that's just really good. Last night was cinco de mayo so they rocked an al pastor taco special that should be on the menu permanently if it's not already. We dig the garage doors and fire pits all year round. Service has always been great. 5 fn stars go to these guys.

Enjoyable visit to the Mainland this week. Very festive for Christmas!…read more Food was good. Wings were tasty but skimpy. Pretzel was enjoyable. Burgers were cooked perfectly and the fries were nice and hot. Only complaint about the food is their choice of 'plates'. Everything is served on these tiny aluminum trays. Not only does it give you a cafeteria vibe, but they simply aren't practical. I took the lettuce off my burger and the only place I could put it was on the table. Draft beers were very good. Fresh and cold. Can tell they keep their beer lines clean. Server was quirky but friendly and efficient. From what I could tell, the whole staff seemed to be really hustling on a very crowded night. Only issue of the night was the check. Our food and drink total was $117 (pre-tax). However, the bill had it as $125 - without explanation. We of course called it out and after some discernment in the kitchen the server comes back to tell us that the $8 difference was for the mushrooms and onions we added to our burgers. Umm, ok. But why no line item showing that? He couldn't really answer that. Am I the first one that this ever happened to or just the first one to call it out? Very odd given this is a large, established business who also has other restaurants. Odd ending to an otherwise enjoyable evening!

Our group of six enjoyed dinner on a Saturday night. We had to wait 30 minutes for a table. Not sure if they take reservations. Our server was very pleasant. My partner started with the wings. He said they were crispy and delicious! He then got a bacon cheeseburger and fries. The fries were an up charge from potato chips which we thought was weird. He said the burger was very dry and only came with 2 small strips of bacon. He liked the fries. I had the Cobb salad which was one of the best Cobbs I ever had. It was loaded with chicken, blue cheese, eggs, olives, tomatoes and cheddar cheese. I almost finished it but couldn't. I forgot to take pics when we were served so I took them a bit late. Overall, a good meal and we will be returning. The place is overly decorated in my opinion but that's just me. PS: please do something about the potholes in your parking lot. I had to drive like it was an obstacle course!

The waiter was caring, friendly, and professional. Secondly, the food was great, and actually even better than the last time. I started my lunch with a cup of their Chicken Tortilla Soup, which had a lightly spicy tomato-based broth infused with loads of shredded white meat chicken and garnished with a few tortilla strips. It was flavorful, comforting, and a perfect vehicle in which to dip their crusty Italian bread. Now the real improvement came from my selected entree. While the Asian Shrimp Salad that I had ordered previously was just mediocre, the Seared Tuna Salad that I got this time was delicious! The plate included mixed greens, sliced avocado, julienne cucumbers, pickled onions, cherry tomatoes, and sesame-crusted, sushi-grade tuna, which I ordered seared to a medium rare. The fish was tender and perfectly cooked. Cups of wasabi and Asian dressing were served on the side and further infused a tangy heat to the dish. It was colorful, textural, and simply delicious. It was a real winner! Manera's Restaurant provided yet another enjoyable meal with dedicated service in a classy, yet casual, atmosphere.
