Great food as usual, but rather slow for a Chick-fil-A. A friend and I ordered inside around 8PM on a Tuesday night, and the restaurant was fairly empty. We ordered just two chicken nugget meals and my friend ordered a cookies and cream milkshake. It took a little over ten minutes for us to get our food which is, again, a little slow for a Chick-fil-A, especially considering how empty the place was. The store is pretty roomy and very clean. This is the slowest Chick-fil-A in the state of South Carolina. The food is consistent just be prepared to wait.

My problem is the management and utter lack of leadership. The manager or GM or whoever wears the blue collar shirt saw there was a line and yelled "help up front" while then continuing to walk into the lobby and not help up front. Nobody else decided it was their place to help either. The line was long and poor Starla was handling it all on her own with a smile on her face while Will was running around the lobby attending to customers there. Even after the two girls heehee hawhaw-ing together on break came back, they still didn't help. The business will only be as good as their leadership and as far as I can see there is none. Justice for Starla and Will because they really are the only ones keeping it afloat out there. Food was good and store was clean but I feel y'all would benefit from a secret shopper program to keep these lazy managers from being able to sit down and look at everyone struggle. It's baffling. The staff who took my order and who fulfilled my order were the usual CFA pleasant and friendly. My "Thank you" was replied to with the "My pleasure" and what looked like a sincere smile. Spicy chicken sandwich with waffle fries in the bag with napkins and a bottle of water. Perfect. I'm definitely a fan. It's as good as any CFA, by which I mean excellent. I love the Chick-fil-A chain and ran across a brand new one while traveling on the road. Open just three weeks and they already have a great following as evidenced on my visit at lunch. Parking is plentiful, even on a very busy day. Drive thru was backed up, but they have the dual line that really helps move things along. Exterior of the building ws nice and fresh with landscaping all in. A bonus at this location is a really nice patio for outdoor dining. When walking to the counter my son and I were immediately assisted by a friendly staff person that constantly smiled and was all business when taking care of the customer. Everything was completely spot on except for asking for ketchup which is kept behind the counter at this location. I am not a fan of this. The dining room is very large and there were still seats which was good news. The dining room was tidy even though is so busy. No longer than we sat down the food was cranked out and delivered to us, I have no idea how they knew it was our order with the small amount of chaos of being so busy, but they did. Like every restaurant in this chain the kids have an indoor play area. The order was accurate, but not quite complete without the shake which soon followed by another staff person. All the sandwiches and fries were hot and delicious. My son went crazy over the delicious chocolate chip shake and began to drain it pretty quick. The request for extra pickles was put in a small container, rather than putting an additional one, or two... I liked it! A few staff people passed by us and were looked for tables to clear etc. I was definitely impressed with the amount of help on the floor. Before leaving a stop by the restrooms. They were clean, no debris on the floor and had been tended to recently per the log on the door. It's rare to find a Chick-fil-A that is not clean and this new store was no different. The owner/operator of this new store in Saluda Pointe is doing a great job early into the opening. The supporting staff however is what I noticed the most. Never a doubt this Chick-fil-A screws up every single time! No matter what time of day or day of the week you come here it's never right! I came here tonight for dinner. Placed an order online to be picked up through the drive thru. The female server who was taking orders in the line came up to our car looked at my boyfriend made a comment on his truck and tried flirting with him until she me in the passenger seat. I leaned over and gave her a look and she laughed nervously and said "oh sorry..." laughed and walked away. It seems like between this location and the one not far in West Columbia are about on the same path at this point. I'm tired of wasting so much money with this company for them to consistently screw up. It doesn't matter if you write a review to their customer support. Company makes too much money to give a shit about customer service or quality. Since I travel frequently on I-20 between Atlanta, GA and Florence, SC I'm always on the lookout for quick and easy stops en route. I also love Chick-Fil-A, and until I spotted the sign at exit 61 (Route 378) in West Columbia, SC, the closest Chick-Fil-A on my route was at least 1.5 miles from the interstate. Not any more. This relatively new location is a great easy-off, easy-on pit stop when traveling east on I-20. (It should also be fine heading westbound.) There's a gas station on the same side of the street, so you turn left at the first light off the highway and then you can easily fill up with gas plus get sustenance from the great folks at Chick-Fil-A. This Chick-Fil-A is consistent with the overall chain of restaurants - clean, efficient, welcoming. I went inside to order my to-go standard of large fries and lemonade, but then noticed they were running a free coffee in February special, so I opted for the new Thrive Farmer's iced coffee, regular. A great snack for $1.98. Added bonus: Chick-Fil-A's waffle fries are gluten free! read more

As always this ChickFilA has excellent customer service. They're quick and accurate with your order. I've never had a single problem at this location at Saluda Point. One time I was sick and I wanted chicken noodle soup and they were out, but that has been the only disappointment I've had here. I love how friendly they are and make you feel welcome. On my most recent visit, there were crazy long lines in the drive-thru and we waited quite awhile at the window but were apologized to numerous times and given vouchers for free breakfast items to use on the future. Drive through not backed up but when I reached window to get food waited for a few minutes. Around 9pm after leaving a Christmas concert my family decided to stop in for a quick bite. Everyone ordered, when my mother (a vegetarian who loves the salads without the meat) steps up to order a Cobb salad with no meat. She is quickly told that the "salad maker" is gone for the day and they can not make special order salads. The cashier told her the only option would be a side salad, so that's what was ordered. After speaking with the manager, she quickly asked if we would like her to go in the back and prepare the salad. We declined since we were already eating. Seems pretty ridiculous that in order to get a salad with no meat the "salad maker" must be present. The cashier should have gone and asked the manager if there was any way to prepare this salad before dismissing the opportunity to fulfill the customers order. Clearly the manager had the ability to make the salad. We will make sure the salad maker is present before ordering in Chick-fil-A again. read more

I am always impressed with the level of friendliness when I dine at Chic-fil-A. I love their waffle fries and always eat them first. I usually get the chargrilled chicken sandwich (plain and dry) with Chick-fil-A or honey mustard sauce. Their iced coffees are amazing. Chic Fil a used to be the gold standard for never making a mistake with your order, but it seems to be slipping. Maybe this is just a bad location. Not sure. I love that there are two Chick-Fil-As on Highway 378. As usual, the Saluda Point location lives up to the CFA name with excellent service and consistently great food. They have only messed up my order once, and to be fair I don't even think it was their fault. I was jumped by a lady in the next lane prematurely, so I think I ended up with her order instead. It was an awesome grilled sandwich that I hadn't tried before, so I was pleasantly surprised. And considering I swing by this location multiple times a week, I think that's a perfectly fine rate of error anyway. Keep up the great work Saluda Point team. read more

This location is new, and is very nicely done inside. Also very friendly people and beautiful parking area. Most Chick-fil-A's are professionally operated and this one is no exception. they also do an exceptional amount of business. I had the chicken tortilla soup, and a cup of fruit, and a cup of iced tea. The chicken tortilla soup was a disappointment. Previously they had a good recipe but this time it was not impressive. The fruit was a tiny cup and not exceptional , it was mostly Apple. Total check was about $8 which was reasonable. Certainly I'll come back again because the dining area is comfortable and clean and the food is always acceptable. But I won't order tortilla soup again The parking lot has another building alongside which is a Starbucks and it is coming soon it says. there's also a Wingate Hotel in the parking lot. It's a superb location on one of the better landscape commercial areas in this part of the county. technically, however, it's in an Interstate Hwy. cloverleaf. read more

The only issue I have with this location is when I order at the drive thru, I specifically ask for a specific amount of Chick Fil A sauce. When we get our food, we have NEVER had what we asked. This happened twice without us realizing it until we got home, but now we do count before we pull off. It seems like only 2 Chick Fil A sauce is the max when 3 meals are ordered which I don't get. I think this is absolutely the worst chick-fil-a I have ever been to. Went today and there was no one behind the cash registers. Everyone was waiting on the drive thru. When someone decided to finally wait on me, I needed a gift card for a present and they didn't even have any gift cards! I asked for a price on a box of cookies and the person immediately rang up the cookies instead of giving me a price. Was going to order a tray of chicken nuggets for a party, but decided to give the business to Zaxby's instead. Also, always count your money if you pay in cash at this location. Grossest thing ever I would much rather go to the real chick Fil a of Lexington by Walmart, much better service and quality.
