This location is horrible and it's definitely not the standard you expect from Chick-Fil-A. From the restrooms to the dining area, it was completely nasty. Trash all over the floor and staff simply standing around. While I waited a long time for a 4 count strip, the manager was more worried about getting his "6 piece grilled". I asked one of the staff to clean a table and he went to look for someone else, yet he was simply standing there with two other individuals. I went there the other day and ordered a $3.54 breakfast sandwich. Being a 73 year old senior I forgot my wallet at home! I got to the drive-thru window and explained myself. A female supervisor said "no money, no food"!! Comeon a $3.54 sandwich?!?! I offered to return and pay but the female supervisor said no accommodation would be made! I eatable the time at Chik-Fil-As all over the US! I will never spend another dime at this location! Also-a representative from this location, maybe Kevin was his name, and he defended the actions of this female supervisor, and with directly or less pronounced, restated "no money no food"! With Chik-fil-A's stated compassion, community involvement and suggested religious connection by being closed on Sunday, my opinion is they made a grievious error that should be corrected or latitude for some intelligent decisions!! read more

We love Chick-fil-a but never go to this location in a time crunch (fast food). Chick-fil-a needs another location in Lee's Summit. The building is packed inside and outside and parking and accessibility are terrible. Food is great! Which is why I split the difference on stars. I went there for lunch with my mom and had such a pleasant experience. It has been a while since I have been there and after this past trip, I definitely will be back again. I was greeted by a crew member at my car where they gave me a menu and directed me where to merge lanes. Since I'm gluten free, I asked if they had anything gluten free bread which they replied yes along with their fries being gluten free as well. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with fries and a half sweet/unsweet tea. Every person I interacted with was nice and helpful. For all my gluten free/celiac readers, the bun is pre-packaged and they separtate your chicken and toppings in a container. I was throughly impressed as they were careful with my food and sensitive to my allergy. I would defintely recommend this location to anyone. They really live up to their standards at having excellent customer service skills. read more

I love these kids that work here! Always give the best customer service! I never have an issue with my orders and they are always very friendly. This place is great not only is the food delicious, but service is outstanding. When I got there they had 3 drive thru lanes where they were taking orders and payments, it was very busy all 3 lanes full, but I was out of there so quickly, and they directed traffic, knew your name and handed you food as soon as you reached window, the setup is superb, I have never been to a drive thru so well run. The line is always horrible thru the drive thru and it moves VERY slowly. They get very confused taking your order and it's usually got something missing or wrong. They are nice enough, but just sort of confused. A lot of the girls look like deer caught in the headlights, if you ask them something. This Chick-Fil-A needs to take some lessons from the one in Independence, MO, it's so much better. Not even on the same page as this one. I just expected better of Lee's summit. Be more careful on who you hire. Make sure they are able to problem solve in a pinch. I wouldn't recommend this Chick-fil-A. It sort of gives Chick-Fil-A a bad name. The food here tastes just the same as every other Chick-fil-A I've been to - hot and freshand. While the chicken sandwich is good for some reason I always feel like it comes just a hair short of how I remember the Chick-Fil-A that was inside Ward Parkway back in the 80's. I LOVE the Spicy Chicken Biscuit for breakfast. The breakfast burrito must be 2 or 3 times the size of McD's but then again it costs more. My only complaint, if you can call it one, is they don't have regular fries. I don't care for waffle fries but I most of my family love them. So if you like waffle fries it's a non-issue. What I like most about this, my local Chick-fil-a, is that it is always perfectly clean and the staff is shockingly nice, polite, well mannered. If I could think of a few more adjectives that could describe how great they are I'd use them. I don't know if it is a national policy and training program or if it is a local owner or manager that is good at choosing and training employees but I have not been at ANY fast food, high-end restaurant or retail business period where the employees were more polite, friendly and professional. I'm not sure how they do it but any company having trouble with customer satisfaction should go to Chick-fil-a , or at least THIS Chick-fil-a and ask them for advice. They clearly have it down to a science. I'll give them the 5th star when they sell me some regular fries! read more

I went around dinner time , very very long drive thru line and long line inside . I understood they were busy but all I ordered was a shake and I waited 30 minutes just for that , then once I got my shake I noticed they forgot the cherry so I waited on the side for another 30 minutes and nobody helped me I was very displeased with my visit I've been to various chick fil a's and an sad to say this is the first time getting horrible costumer service from them. Never once heard anybody say my pleasure either everybody was rushing and looked dishappy, when I got my shake it was nearly melted plus no cherry. either way that will be my first and last time going to that location. read more

This is by far the worst CFA I have ever visited. I am a huge fan of the company and I even worked at one for 3 years in high school. This CFA does not prepare and serve the food in accordance with corporate policy. For instance, the filets do not meet the corporate sizing charts (often to small), the buns are frequently stale and they leave food in the warming drawers pass the hold time. The employees seem to be nice kids; however, there is no real leadership in the store. They are frequently late serving food and often mess up the order. I'm all about having fun and enjoying work but there is a time to focus on the customers and delivering the quality of service expected from this franchise. They still get 2 stars simply because it's CFA. This place couldn't rate lower if the operator(owner) wanted it too. (Seems like he does). If you have the time, drive over to blue springs or independence. If not, request no pickles to try and get a fresh sandwich. You can always get a side of pickles and add them yourself Remember, the pickles go on the bottom bun! read more

So those of you who know me, know that I am a HUGE Chick-Fil-A fan. I could eat it on a daily basis. Unfortunately, this last experience on Saturday was a huge let down. So I go with my pregnant wife Saturday evening, who wanted lemonade. We order our food, and notice that the lemonade is down to about an inch in the holder, and it's nothing but foam and sludge in there. Oh, and there's an Up-charge for lemonade for some reason. Anyway, we order our usual...#1 with a large CRISPY fries. They call them well done, but I call them crispy. Anyway, not 5 seconds after we pay, I hear the young guy working at the food line get asked by his coworker if the fries are "well done". His reply is they are "really well done", since I did it. What that means is, he just grabbed some fries off the rack. We asked the counter guy if there was anymore lemonade. He says "there's enough in there for you". We said no, and he offered to make us some. Then he comes back and says "we are out. Sorry". Keep in mind, it's only 6pm. So we get tea, go to get condiments and realize there's no salt packets. We ask for salt and guess what?? "We are out. Sorry." So we sit down with our supposed "well done" fries. First one: crispy! Subsequent ones....soggy fries. So, we go back up to ask for truly "crispy" fries, only to get dirty looks from the "really well done" guy, who says that they are crispy. Chick-Fil-A employees: if you can hold a fry in your hands for more than a second, it isn't hot. If you hold the end of a fry, and it wiggles like jello, it is NOT crispy. Maybe they need to change their terms, so it isn't confusing. Crispy means crispy. It should snap when you bend it, not flex like a willow tree. Oh, and if you are going to charge extra for something that you don't have...maybe you refund the difference. I didn't push the issue for 10 cents, but it's the principal that makes me mention it here. So, this place is close and usually good. My thinking is that the high school staff just doesn't care about their customers. Maybe a good in-service is needed. Bottom line is that I'll give it another shot, as I am a HUGE fan. But, I can always find another store if the LS location continues to swing downward. Come on LS, lets keep this thing together! read more

Definitely disappointment when compared to other Chick-fil-A's I have visited. I was in town and hadn't ate anything all day when I decided to visit (I did not use the drive through) and get a sandwich. Sadly, the sandwich was made incorrectly and this was not noticed until I was some ways down the road. I contacted the store about this and all they offered was an apology unless my I had the receipt that I absent mindedly threw out as I was leaving the lobby. Bottom line, purchase at your own risk. If they make an error they won't stand behind their work or even offer to correct their mistakes. read more

I was away from home and saw a Chick-fil-A and decided to grab dinner on my way home from work for the family. My Chick-fil-A in OPKS at 135th & 69 hwy is ALWAYS busy and with good reason, and this one was busy since it was the dinner hour, but they had the lines moving fast with 2 employees taking orders by the order kiosks. The staff was as friendly as they come and they just gave the impression that the store was well cared for and clean. The food was as ordered and tasted delicious and was a good choice. read more

I used to work right by this location so I've been here many times but lately it seems things have gone downhill. The workers don't seem to want to be doing their job and that is why we usually like coming here is for that added effort but it is clearly lacking that now. Sad. cant seem to get the orders correct. Everytime I have to double check my order. either they give me the wrong drink, wrong dressing, no straw, straw with no drink order, someone else's food. It doesnt matter if its lunch rush or 2:00 ... they never can get the order 100% right.
