    ows customers at the counter

This review is for the location inside of the Layton Hill's Mall food court. That being said, this is a great location with friendly, helpful employees. This is the perfect stop for after you have been shopping in the mall for awhile and are ready for some lunch or dinner. It is unfortunately the busiest of all the restaurants in the food court because - Chick-Fil-A - but they do their best to get orders taken and food out quickly. They have all the menu items you can get at the larger stand-alone restaurants. I can be a cluster at times since it is the busiest place in the food court and the lines can get confusing as the ordering is on the right instead of the left as you would expect, then you have to walk over to the left side to wait for your order. Employees are super friendly and helpful and on our last visit, I really wanted a refill of my drink, but due to the Pandemic, they aren't allowed to refill your cup, so the girl at the counter just poured me a completely new drink. That's great service!

This location always has great service. I have gotten food from them inside and also had it brought out to my car outside. The employees are always friendly! I wish there was some kind of order to the lines inside though. It is frustrating waiting in line for 5 minutes then realizing you are just waiting behind people who have already ordered and are waiting for food! I have also had people go ahead of me in line many many times because (I'm guessing) they didn't know where the lines begin or end. The food is delicious though and that's all that matters in the end!

It was good but definitely not the best chick-fil-a experience I've ever had. But the food was decent

They are always slow to get your food out and when it does come out it's wrong.. Went here for a quick lunch and after waiting for 10 min to get my food it cut into my lunch break. Went to get my sandwich with no pickles and to my surprise I got pickles. Not really a surprise as this is the 3rd time at this location doing this.. Was told tell them next time and I would be taken care of.. tried that and wow that was miserable. Explained it 3 times and got an "ok. Today" she was just absolutely lost. So I decided at this point I no longer wanted anything.. Such a disappointment as this was a convention placed to eat lunch but after today I won't be coming back to this location

There's way to many people working and a long line for no reason. Everyone was nice but slow and all the employees were falling all over one another. One of her girls working (looked like a manager of sort)has super long hair that kept touching everything. Which was kind of gross. On the other hand she was one of the few harder working ones and was very nice. The candy cane topping was Open and exposed on the edge of counter where you take orders. Lastly there were two couples and all four of them work there(wearing chick fil a clothing). One of the couples was literally standing on the outside of the counter where we take orders making out. What is this world coming to that his is acceptable at the work place??? The other couple seem to have their kids with them at work. I'm glad I don't live here because I for sure would Never use this chick fil a again.

Chicken Chick-fil-A Cool Wrap with fries

Stopped at this Chick-fil-A for a quick lunch and was lucky that they weren't to busy. Only two in line. Ordered a number 1 grilled chicken sandwich and number 8 Cool Wrap chicken wrap as a meal. Which comes with fries and a drink. Let me tell you about this "wrap" meal. First the attendant (maybe the first grade teacher's husband) was kind enough to give me a senior drink for FREE. When I explained to him I had paid for a drink with my meal deal, he looked at me and smiled. The fries were sun baked, I mean not even brown, white in color. Then the wrap which should be sliced chicken (as advertised) was more like "already chewed chicken" with maybe if I was lucky a 1/2 ounce of cheese and a lot of green stuff. I got our order in a timely time frame by a lady that was like my First Grade Teacher. Get the picture older, tall and very authoritative. I asked her if I could get some napkins? I got (2) two not even Chick-fil-A napkins, very small and thin. Was I excited. Maybe next time I stop for a sandwich if will be better, I hope. I really like Chick-fil-A

Great customer is chick fila's strength especially this one just because no matter who or what the situation is they always smile and are always very friendly. They are always speedy quick to get food out and the quality seems to always be fresh. I love these guys and I always get chick fila when I visit the mall.

When in the a le carte portion it's like it's always undercooked. The zuchinni in it is barely cooked, still very hard. Where as when they put it in the heat tray to serve throughout the day i think sitting there slow cooks it. It seems like a le carte gets the leftovers. The orange chicken will be dried up, and tough. Not the light and fluffy interior, nice crunchy exterior. Others like steaks, shrimp etc are same as orange chicken. old and tough. We've been going here for years, and often (2+ times per month). We messaged corporate about it. They kindly gave us x5 $10 gift cards, which we can only used one per order. But it seems like it's getting worse. This was not a problem until about a year ago. At this point, we now go maybe once every six months, HOPING it'll be better, but are quickly reminded why we aren't running back. The chicken egg rolls are also always, old. I used to love them, even though they've been overpriced. But now, won't touch them with a 10 foot pole! They really need to work on throw out times. I'm pretty sure the orange chicken we are getting had been in a heating tray for several hours. It is not even remotely fresh. And chicken, fresh vs even 20 minutes old is a significant change! They also need to reevaluate cooking for a le carte orders. It's different when it's made fresh, vs when it's made for a heating tray where it will steam. This effects veggies significantly. Broccoli, those string green beans, etc.

Hostess training another hostess, not knowing where she was going. You know you are waiting too long to be seated when you grab the menu to start making up for lost time. Everybody was just lost. Dishes and crap on every other table as employees just walked on by. Look liked the busboy (if he was one) was hanging out with the two hostesses. Back in my day, if you have time to lean, you have time to clean. I ordered the campfire beef meal. I mean, what was that? Tasteless, soggy old people food that I was able to squish a carrot between my tongue and palate. I did not have to chew any of it. They had to have wrapped this in foil this morning and kept it in a steamer. I have never tasted moosh carrots, onions, or tomatoes in one meal. Did they send it through the dishwasher or something? I have never had to season meat before, as it is an insult to the cook, but there was not enough salt/pepper on the table to put flavor into this meal. A-1 would have been my go-to, but it was not on the table. The server was nice enough, but she works there 7 days a week, takes the bus 2-3 hours each way, and she is sitting in a chair talking to us. Anyways, she asked me how the meal was, and I told her it was embarrassing. I did not have to chew anything except the corn on the cob; it was all mushy. How long do onions and carrots have to steam for the food to be that mushy? I had better food in a field in Afghanistan out of a steamer on a plastic tray. This was not even prison food quality. She gets the manager, manager, no name tag, not work clothing, just a blue blouse and black pants with a radio hanging off her hip. She walked up and said nothing, no introduction, nothing. I asked her if she was a manager or something, and she said, "Yes." I told her about the food, and she said basically I was lying because they make those meals to order fresh. No more than an hour before serving, then I said, Funny, they make it fresh, and we got the meal in 15 minutes, and it's mush. Then she said they pre-cook them about an hour in advance of somebody ordering it. Well, how do they know some buddy is going to order it for them to time travel an hour backwards to make the meal, because they are psychic. At least my server told me the truth. They make them well in advance and place them in a pan of water to heat them up. That makes sense because we are at 5 pm, and the meal tasted like 9 am sitting in a steamer all day. The manager gave me a stupid grin and had nothing to say, no apology or nothing. I said, Hey, I ate it, I'll pay for it. She turned and walked away with no comments. We got the bill, and the meal was on the check. While we were waiting, I signed up for the club rewards required if you wanted a military discount. As I was walking out, I got an email from CB saying I could order a free Share appetizer. LOL! I was tempted to go in for the pickled chips to go, but I was more concerned about being sick later. The server was tipped properly. I have never seen a server sitting in a chair talking to customers about her life while plates, dishes, and cups were stacking up on tables for customers to look at. Just ain't no way I am coming back!

Initially I thought there was no way the tiny 8" would be enough for me, but...it was enough. The only thing that had any flavor was the crust. Zero flavor from the sauce, mozzarella, tomatoes, or basil. My gut reaction was to toss it all into the trash. They also messed up our order and gave us buffalo wings instead of bread sticks, and the wings were soggy and slimy (we didn't find out about the mix up until we got home, so we weren't going back); and of course they didn't give us any sauce. So someone else got our bread sticks with blue cheese, and I think they still got the better end of it. Maybe it was just an off night, but by far it was the worst margherita pizza I've ever had. Sometimes a new place just disappoints. But sometimes it's so bad and overpriced that it actually makes you angry. This was one of those times.
