Gluten-free friends: DO NOT believe the reviews that say Xclusive Taqueria has gluten-free options. That may have been true in the past, but tonight the chef said absolutely nothing is GF except for the salads. (And if nothing is GF besides the salads, I personally don't believe the salads would be safe enough from cross-contamination for someone with celiac--although you may feel differently, of course.)

In the most recent incident, I ordered a chicken burrito at the food truck with no cheese because of a dairy allergy. The request was very clear and they even repeated it back. Imagine my surprise when I got home to find a burrito full of cheese. When we returned to explain and get the order remade, there was no apology or sympathy - in fact, we were made to feel like the inconvenience! They literally opened up each burrito to check for cheese as if we were lying. It was made clear that this was an allergy, and in no world would I drive all the way back to get an order corrected if there wasn't actually an issue. Luckily I was ok in this instance, but it's this kind of negligence that can send people to the hospital. Will not order anything here again.

From the freshness to the attention to detail, the textures, and how every dish balanced its flavors, this was a genuinely excellent meal. We came as a family and ordered a little bit of everything: * Big Blu Burger (husband/dad): The dressing paired perfectly with the arugula *They also split the chili dog and loved it! * Falafel Wrap (mom): Fresh, filling, and packed with flavor -- not soggy at all * Aji Salad (sister): Delicious with a huge portion * Kids Hot Dog & Fries (son): Great size and price for a kiddo * Chimichurri Steak Salad (me): So many layers of flavor and texture -- crunchy, spicy, and delicious Appetizers: Onion rings, fries, Meyer broccolini (my favorite -- came with an amazing dipping sauce), and green beans with an almost sweet-soy flavor that was so good. Dessert: Oreo shake and strawberry shake, both rich but not too heavy, just right. Everything was phenomenal, and the customer service matched the food. We were checked on multiple times without being bothered, and the space had plenty of seating both inside and out. The AC was a welcome relief from the heat, too. We left full, happy, and already planning our next visit. Highly recommend!

We ordered the rhino burger and a standard cheese burger plus a side of corn ribs. You can't request medium or medium rare. You get the burgers how ever they want to make them. It always amazes me how utterly MASSIVE the portions are. I was glad I ordered the soup/salad/bread combo since my husband's plate of fried chicken was just BIG. It was half a chicken (leg, wing, breast and thigh) perfectly juicy and crispy, along with mashed potatoes and gravy with a side of jalapeño corn bread. Even with two people we still couldn't finish everything. They do not compromise on taste at all even with the portion size. Shout out to our server Alfredo for the fried chicken recommendation. I normally use the drive-thru (which is always busy) but recently I dined inside. I had no idea how cute and homey they made the inside. Their regular chicken sandwich or nuggets are my go-to but I came in to try their new limited time Chicken & Waffles Sandwich ($10.35). The chicken was good, the bacon was okay but the waffles missed the mark. They weren't crispy enough and on the dry side. Also the maple flavoring in the waffle made it too sweet, especially after adding syrup. For the price, I would say skip on this one. But overall, I still love this location. The service was quick, and the location itself was convenient with plenty of parking available. The inside of the restaurant felt a little outdated with older furniture and decorations, but overall the experience was still smooth. The food itself was somewhere between okay and good. The chips were a little on the oily side, while the shredded beef tacos were surprisingly less flavorful and a bit drier compared to the chicken taco. The portions were average, and the pricing felt a little steep for tacos, but overall it still satisfied the craving for Mexican food in the area. Not necessarily the most memorable Mexican food spot, but still a decent option if you're nearby and looking for something quick and convenient.

The service was great from when we placed our orders, making our payments, and receiving our orders. We ordered 3 cheeseburgers for our party with well-done fries and "Lemon-Up".
