Well I went this morning to get a platter breakfast no combo and it included - scrambled eggs , bacon that I asked to be extra crispy ( didn't get it that way ) as well as four strips of French toast ) they were SO HARD I could barely eat them , I threw them away not worth the calories since they were OVER COOKED, see my video and pic. As well as the hash brown which was fine . 1. Customer service was ok 4/5 not over friendly didn't ask if I wanted anything else, didn't give my receipt which I always want for my FETCH points . 2. Food . Eggs 4-5 little over cooked you can see some brown areas on the eggs . 3. Hash browns 5-5 4. Bacon 3-5 not crispy as all 5. French Toast 1-5 completely over cooked hard as a rock . Tossed not happy / what happened to the yummy pancakes ? Ok well my breakfast will come from Trabuco Jack in the Box from now on they get it right every time . My local Mickey D's around the corner. Love that it's close by for those Big Mac and salty fries cravings! Breakfast is always a treat with their Buy 1, Add One For $1 deals. Don't sleep on them Happy Meals or Seasonal Collab Meal Deals. (Can't wait for the McGrinch Meal coming!) This restaurant is clean inside and crew appear to be happy. The attendant who deliver the food for those drive-in orders always have a smile and are polite. Also, this branch has a kids play area so it's always a hit. Drive through is a breeze with mobile orders but there are always some who don't have the app? And place their orders via the menu board and pay at the first window. No big deal. At drive-through, had coupon for one premium sandwich free with purchase of one premium sandwich. We ordered the premium fish sandwich and asked for any premium burger. Opened the bag and surprise! a tiny little cheeseburger. NOT premium. Then window handed us coke; did not order, but got charged for it. Declined to take my order and serve me food when they close in 30 minutes. This specific location should be open till 11pm apparently, the app even confirmed it. Drove there to see employees still working in the place, lights are all on but door locked. They began making hand gestures for me to leave. If yall are going to keep letting your workplace shut down earlier than listed, at least do one thing right and list the correct time the establishment closes. read more

This Ladera ranch location has gone to crap since the Hill family sold the franchise. The new management seems to not train their employees the McDonald's way of doing things. I worked at McDonald's in high school and we were trained to do the job the way McDonald's wanted it done. I went through the drive through tonight and the automated voice asked if I'm using my app code. I said yes then silence. I waited about 2-4 minutes, silence. I drive through and see the manager on his cell phone, a few steps from the drive through register. I know they hear beeping when a car is in the drive through. Again, since the Hill family left, the service has been awful. Also my online order got canceled , even after I switched it to pick up in drive through. Bye Ladera McDonald's!! As someone who worked 16 years for a fast food competitor of McDonalds, I know a thing or two about great service. I understand constraints in labor, dealing with the general public, etc.... But getting the right order and the value of your order can still be accomplished. The last 2 visits have been poor at this location in Ladera Ranch. I went through the drive-thru the first visit and as I drive away discovered my soda was wrong after confirming it twice. I parked and went inside only to have to wait to get it correct because they were paying attention to the drive-thru and not the counter. My most recent visit had more order completely wrong at the pay window, (not mixed up with another, wrong on mine). After the first window fixed it I got to the pick-up window and was handed my order. The sandwich was fish (I dont eat fish) and you can see by the picture the large fry I got, 1/2 full. At the prices they charge this is just unacceptable. I complained to corporate in an effort to not go public as Ladera is a small town, and corporate just said they can handle it at the local level. I asked willl someone be contacing me and the letter I got back was exactly the same. So, they, corporate doesn't seem to even care how theu operate and when poor service happens all ths time, good luck. Long gone are the days that parents take their children to McDonalds and just let'em loose in the playground. Long gone are the days that a McDonalds were filled with customers. Nowadays, it's just a long line of cars going through the drive-through. Even so, we decided to check this place out, and boy was this place clean (and big!) There was even a section that was walled off by glass where the playground was. They even had a seating section for the playground with like a tablet or something. The emptiness of this place really hit me hard, but McDonalds was a nostalgic place for me. Anyways, we got some ice cream and talked with some of the staff and left. It was a good time. Oh, I didn't realize that McDonalds had such a wide variety of food and dessert. I guess that happens when you haven't been there for so long! read more

For a Sunday Night - Great Quality at the Ladera Ranch McDonalds (BIG MAC, fries, hamburger, and Chicken Nuggets were on point) Everything was fresh. However, the LARGE Café Mocha turned out to be "Less Than Large"! When I asked the cashier about the cup being half empty, she said, "That's the way we make it!" Pretty sure that Ladera Ranch, Starbucks (across the parking lot) would have filled the cup up! $4.00 for half a cup of McCafe coffee is a crime! But I couldn't get a BigMac and fries at Starbucks . The same thing happened 3 times at this McDonald's branch. Last time, I was forced to cancel my app order after 10 minutes was passed. Today my mac app showed my order was all ready at the counter,but it wasn't. One of there crew told me to wait as they were just making new coffee. We stopped tonight for the McRib since we love them. Came to $36.13 for 4 McRib, 2 small fries, I plain hamburger. The workers looked like hippy slobs. Long hair , greasy , not combed. No uniforms! No gloves. Touched my food after touching dirty money . Thinking of calling Orange County health department. Took over 10 minutes in drive thru. McDonald's is taking advantage of the new $20.00 an hour law before it even takes effect April 2024! I would rather eat at In and Out!! Made a large order right when they opened for breakfast. All the food was delicious and the service from the window to the morning manager who delivered my food was prompt and courteous. Despite two delivery trucks outside and obvious busy work going on, they managed my order with speed and efficiency. This McDonalds does an exceptional job at continuing the disappointment that accompanies the name "McDonalds". Every time we visit this location, we know there will either be something wrong or we will get terrible service. Tonight was the trifecta- rude service at the order screen and the window, cold food and NO sauce for our 20 nuggets, and the notorious ice cream machine not working. It has almost become a family joke as to what mess this location will dish out each time we try it again. We have attempted to call management, left messages and never received a return call. If management and owners don't care to improve the quality of their business, why should the employees? It's become an expectation and that sucks. read more

First, to get it out of the way, the employees are generally OK. Not great but not bad, so that's good. The real problem is ridiculously high prices and the lack of 2 for $X deals that many other locations have for breakfast items. This location is incredibly greedy. The other problem is that they can be really slow. There is almost no point to mobile ordering (other than trying to use deals to bring the price down to something SLIGHTLY more reasonable) when you still have to wait 10 minutes for simple orders. Often, when going through the drive-thru to pick up a mobile order, they'll have me park and wait, even when there's no car behind me. It just makes it less convenient, and whenever they ask me to do that, I know I'm going to have to wait for 8-10 minutes. Mind you, this is not during busy peak times. Side note: One time, I ordered the Bacon Cajun Ranch McCrispy (which is now gone) and they forgot to put bacon on it...It's like one of six ingredients total. This wasn't even during a busy period. Mistakes happen, but it's frustrating when prices are high and the food isn't even very fast anymore. In fact, wait times are always the longest when it comes to chicken sandwiches. At least they tasted fresh. I just don't know why they can't be faster when prices are that high. Nowadays, this greedy franchise location is expensive and slow and too rarely has new or seasonal offerings. What's the point anymore? read more

Don't buy their large size French fries, because it is a "scam", they use large box package but only gave you about medium size amount of fries. They basically steal from customers by doing this.
