Generally, I give Panda Express a 4/5 out of the fast food sector. I like it, and try to eat there every couple weeks. The numerical rating of this review reflects this general experience. Tonight, I would say it earned 1 star due to poor food quality. It was 5:30pm on a Wednesday. The Mushroom Chicken and Black Pepper Chicken were very much over-sauced, resulting in a very black appearance and a taste that could only be described as terribly bitter. The mushroom chicken appearance is normally fairly clear, not dark brown. It also seemed like these two dishes were there for a LONG time, so they didn't taste, smell or look fresh at all. I could barely even make out some of the ingredients. I hardly made it through a few bites of the mushroom chicken, which was the worst. I did tell them about this, and normally wouldn't post a negative review after informing a restaurant of its mistake, but in this case it was bad enough that I fear I have been negatively conditioned to not try again for a long time. :-( read more

Kung pao lacked sauce & had mainly chewy pieces.Server barely gave us portions & we had to ask for more on 1 entree. Felt like a waste of money, will not come to this location again. I gave it an extra star because the food tasted okay. However I ordered the eggplant and tofu as part of my combo plate and it arrived with all eggplant and no tofu. Unfortunately it was a take out order so I didn't find out about this until I got home and wasn't in the mood to go back to the restaurant to get it corrected. I find it incredulous that the server didn't see that the eggplant tofu tray had absolutely no tofu ( if it did I think I would have gotten at least some tofu scraps - nope all eggplant), and if they ran out of tofu to make the dish they should have told me that when I went to pick up the food and offer a replacement with another dish. I love going to Panda Express for takeout Chinese. It's fast food style Chinese. I highly suggest going during a busy time because the food is always fresh then. When the food is fresh it is delicious!! I love their orange chicken and their chicken with stream beans and teriyaki chicken. Their spring rolls are so good too. I'm extremely disappointed with this location. The orange chicken looked like it was sitting out for quite some type. However the server said it wasn't old. If it was old, it would be soggy. There were only a few pieses left of Beijing beef that was very dry looking. When I asked for fresh Beijing beef, the server said she's not sure since they don't have much left. I've been to this location many times and this might be the last time I'll be coming here. During my last visit the restaurant was highly disorganized. We had to wait outside because of covid and there are no signs outside the store on where to stand for online orders and where to go for in-store orders. People that ordered online were standing outside for 30+ minutes, not knowing if their food was being prepared and not knowing if their order was even confirmed. One person was so frustrated he left after waiting so long because he couldn't even talk to anyone about his order. The line to order in-store was moving at a snail's pace. There were about 4 people ahead of me when I arrived and ended up waiting much longer than expected to order. The food I got did not taste good. The orange chicken was soggy, the rice was dry, and the chow main especially tasted old. The portion sizes were also small. This place never has good orange chicken for some reason which is a shame since that's what panda express is known for. Save your money and go somewhere else. read more

I asked if they had more choices and the answer was we are closing at 9:30 and they don't like to waste food so they are cleaning up . It s a resturant that prides itself on fresh food and the food was far from fresh. All restaurants have waste at the end of the night and actually make smaller portions to avoid it, but it is not the practice of this resturant. Panda Express gives survey code to customer so customer can get the 3rd entree for free, this restaurant will on purposely cut off the receipt at the point of survey code, so they don't have to give free entree. For the second week in a row, ordering ahead and picking up the order at the location, they didn't give me the full order. It seems the staff can't quite get it right for reading the order ticket. We go here frequently, but no longer. It's not hard to ensure pickup orders are fully packed for pickup.
