Eating at Chick-fil-A is most certainly a delightful experience. When I sampled a delightful chicken nugget; my taste buds lit up like the fourth of July. The workers were hardworking individuals with excellent skills. My meal was positively exquisite. To be honest I've recently divorced my husband after eating here. He can't make me feel as good as eating Chick-fil-A does. The atmosphere made me feel like I was on another level, unlike my ex-husband in bed. We always have lunch during breakfast hours when traveling. This location allowed us to mobile order that and they started preparing it immediately. I activated the check in procedure on the app while about 10 minutes away and they had it done shortly after I arrived. The place was as busy as they always are and yet they made my lunch order at 9 in the morning or so without complaint. As for the food everything was obviously fresh and tasted exactly as it should've. For those who complain about stale food I would suggest trying lunch during the early hours, they fix everything fresh and it's always delicious. read more

Chick fil a has great food but there's something in particular that caught my eye! The salad. It is so good especially with chicken.

Now I wouldn't right a review about chick-fil-a cause the expectation is supposed to be good. Now the food here is 8.7/10, great. But on the other hand customer service has gone down hill since the rebuild. I order with my points from the app in store and had questions, wasn't greeted with a smile or a how are you because she was more focused on talking about Starbucks coming to the area with her coworkers. When I placed my order and had questions she answered I don't know and instead of asking someone just stared at me. So I received a 2/3 filled coke and a singular jelly for 2 chicken biscuits. While picking up my dinner at Chick-fil-A in Kingsport today and eating in their parking lot in my car, I attempted to back out to leave and a short hair lady in a van rushed passed my car and I accidentally bumped her van. Their was no damage and I did not even feel the bump, but she felt the need to get out of her car and proceed to cuss me and tell me I hit her van, and I asked her what she wanted me to do, she said nothing because of no damage, but proceeded to let me know she couldn't let the the truck parked down from me out because of me. I told her fine, I would just sit in my car, until the closed or traffic died down. She was about car 15-20 stretching all the way around the building. Finally a decent man in a car beside me got out and directed traffic so I could exit my parking space, and I sat in line to let him exit. To think you are a decent person or good Christian because you eat the chicken at Chick Fil A could not be further from the truth. The people in the car line right after 5:00 pm are vicious, hateful, and very inconsiderate, plus rude. NEVER AGAIN.... I would rather eat at a biker bar.... The drive through at Kingsport is complete chaos for the customers wanting to exit their parking lot in the evening, and cussing someone out at Chick Fil A may be a bigger mental issue that needs to be taken care of. I went around 2 pm to grab my usually grilled nuggets. Today I got a unpleasant surprise of some kind of paper in my container under my nuggets. Thought maybe it might have been skin even though that would have been odd. Upon further investigation I notice it to be paper. Possible a wax paper. Guess I'm done with this establishment since they clearly don't have a process in place to keep foreign objects out of there food. read more

I have NEVER had a bad experience at Chik-Fil-A, and the fact that that they're so known for their service prompts me to leave a review in hopes that it will cause some improvement. The food was as consistent with company standards, but unfortunately our service was unpleasant. We were told to "pull up" to scan our rewards in the app, then corrected once we did so and told it was too late. Our drink order was incorrect and we were rudely treated when we asked for what we'd ordered. Because it was three separate employees it seems an issue that needs to be addressed. First time ever EVER at chic filet, Possibly the last. Went at lunchtime which was probably the first mistake & waited for quite some time which was my second mistake by not leaving when it was so busy. I ordered three meals all including chicken sandwiches. The 1st) was a plain crispy spicy chicken sandwich with cheese only. The 2nd) was a crispy original club chicken sandwich with no tomato. The 3rd) was original crispy with tomato & lettuce only. Ordered a chicken soup, a Mac-n-ch & a salad, along with Three drinks with no ice. What I received was for no.1) was a plain (not spicy) grilled chicken sandwich with cheese. For no. 2) was a crispy, SPICY chicken club with tomato but no lettuce. For no 3) I received crispy with bacon only. No joke but it doesn't end there. The three sides I received were two waffle and a tortilla soup! Oh and all three drinks had EXTRA ice to the Top in them. On a good note the brownies/ cookies my cookies workers got were delicious they said. even though I DIDN'T order them! I have never had bad service at a chick-fil-a restaurant. I travel and have been to locations all over the country. I go out of my way for their good service and food. They are always fast, courteous, no mistakes, food fresh and hot, drive thru run efficiently. This location was more a Burger King experience than chick-fil-a. Drive thru cars are backed out onto a four lane highway, super unsafe because drive through service is ridiculously slow and inefficient. Waited 30 minutes which is not acceptable. Screwed up my drink order and then told me to pull up and wait for my food 2 minutes. 10 minutes later I had to go inside the restaurant to get my food. I guess I was more shocked than mad. This restaurant gives other chick-fil-a a bad name. Poor management. There was plenty of people on staff, just not managed poorly. read more

It's not very often I give a place a full 5 star rating. But chick-fil-a always nails it. Food quality is always great & and customer service here is top notch ! Do not try to use their app or curbside service anytime near 8 o'clock. It cuts off at eight. So if you put your order in before eight let's say 745....you get there right at eight and you check in with the little girl standing there and you give her your name and she gives you a place to park "pull up to six and we will have it right out to you" seems pretty darn simple.. When you pull up to that #6 spot the app closes off at eight , you can't check in. Sit there for 15 minutes waiting on food and no one was bright enough to figure out the car sitting out there in the curbside( that has cut off) it hadn't been served. Nor did the little girl running the stand have enough wits about her to figure it out either. Then a "team leader"comes out @ 8:15 and tells me to pull in the parking place in the RESTAURANT NEXT-DOOR and just check in in parking space number one and he'll know it's me. But he wasn't bright enough to figure out it still wouldn't work because the app closes at 8 o'clock. You cannot check in at 8:01..... it won't work. But hey I got a free cookie after almost 30 minutes of trying to get chicken nuggets while half of Kingsport went through the drive thru. I think for security alone, even the safety of the girl standing outside....someone would be a llittle weary of the person sitting out there in the curbside for 15 minutes. I asked...do you not see a multitude of problems?" He said "I see opportunities for growth" He said the girl at the stand "was new and still in training" well, where was the the person "training her" because they weren't there. They are always pleasant at the window and very mannerly...but they have no idea how to handle a problem. Nor can they redirect, for example a few times back the lady in front of me was struggling to figure out what to order and kept changing her order and asking descriptions... ,6 cars went through the other line,the employee should have ask her to pull up to the window to order. A smile is nice, but there is a reason the line is up Stone Drive...it is only partially popularity, the main reason is very very poor service. Our Cashier was nice and all but was disappointed to find out that they took the Chicken Salad Sandwich off the menu in September. When asked why, they did not know, so ordered the Chicken strip meal and Husband ordered the Spicy Chicken Sandwich meal. Food came and no sauces for the chicken strips not to mention three greasy small pieces of Chicken and hard Waffle fries. My Husband's was no better. Just looked all greasy and small. I didn't want to say anything but i should have considering the prices. I have been to the Johnson City location and it is much better with the food hot and fresh.
