I was in town, and we went to the Northpark Mall. It's a small town mall. It's nice to walk around and check out the shops without a large crowd. We worked up an appetite! We ventured into the food court area. Our group all had different meals. I ventured towards Chick-fil-A. I enjoyed their crispy chicken salad with a Coke Zero. One of the kids ordered the chicken fingers with their waffled fries. We both enjoyed our meals. The young man working the counter came and checked in on us. He asked if we were ok and if he could refill our drinks. BONUS!! That's above and beyond customer service in a mall food court area!! We were still eating, but he took some of our trash around our tray to clear up space. What a gentleman!!! Overall, it was a very enjoyable salad. Best experience with a restaurant I have ever had. On our way to Mexico for a mission trip, our bus broke down in this Chick-fil-a's parking lot, resulting in my group spending almost four hours at this location. All of the staff was immensely pleasant and extremely helpful! We had multiple workers offer to try to jump our bus. The loveliness of the Chick-fil-a staff made a difficult situation infinitely more bearable. read more

How does Joplin's Chick-fil-A only have 6 reviews?! Chick-fil-A is our drive-thru restaurant of choice, and between the Springfield locations and Joplin, I shamefully eat here quite often. Joplin's drive-thru is, in a word, flawless. A well oiled machine, with friendly attendants to escort your moving vehicle through the line (do you ever actually stop in line? Rarely...they don't need you to. They knew what you wanted before you got there and the attendants are there simply to guide you to your destiny.) Hot food, friendly staff, and I'm not kidding. You can go at lunch rush, see a humongous line, and still have your food and be on your way in 5 minutes. They are top notch. read more

It was very very hot today. I am a 70 plus woman who does not adjust to temperatures in the 100's. It was 102 degrees. My husband and I went to Chick Fill A and asked if I could bring in my 2 pound emotional support dog and the manager of this place told us we need to find a tree and eat out under a tree? What? She told us to stay outside and eat under a shade tree? What shade tree? It is obvious that you cannot bring in an emotional support dog. Mine is very well behaved and would have slept in a seat while I was eating. The manager told me I cannot bring in my emotional support dog and told us to go find the shade of a tree and eat under that? I am in my 70s and this manager tells me this? I will never return to this Chick Fill A. What happened today was abhorrent and uncaring. Maybe I should have tried and they could have called an ambulance for me due to the heat. My husband told the manager this is a small 2 pound emotional support dog but I was still refrained from entering to eat. I deserve more than just an apology from this place. I deserve a letter of apology from both the manager and the owner of this Chick Fill A. I deserve free food for a year. I DID NOT deserve to be told to go eat under a tree. Not in temperatures of well over 100 degrees. No person should be told to go outside and eat unless that is what they wish to do but this is not what I wished to do in this kind of heat. Otherwise this Chick Fill A totally 100% refuses to accept any emotional support dog from anyone and that is just sad. Maybe this should be posted on their door. I intend to turn this in further to all I can turn this into so people who function in their daily life and activities and depend on their emotional support dogs will not be allowed into Chick Fill A. This location is just as delicious as the main one in town. You would think since it is in a mall that it would lack but it doesn't.

You always get 5stars but not today. I didn't get napkins in my bag. No napkin dispenser anymore. I wasn't the only one . Food and service was good. When I went back for a refill I told Suzanna about the napkin mishap and she apologized. Come on put them back out for the customs to get them. Did you decide to cut costs. This location is at the mall and maybe you are trying to watch costs, but really. At your other location you have many condiments out .... mints, free Cheerio's, wet naps, etc. I have never had a complaint. Please don't go here. I ordered online and called the next day to confirm the order for the following days meeting The order was confirmed so good. I arrived there the next day and was told they have no order I would have to leave. I explained the above and told Karen MANAGER I had already paid for it. She said I have no record of your order and I could pay again but she didn't give food away for free. She told me this many times as I explained I couldn't leave without my order or my money. She kept insisting I leave. I told her to get the owner out of bed for we had a problem. I wouldn't unblock her drive thru till she did. I forced her to do that. A moment later I heard the cashier say Karen I found it. I moved my truck to the side and got my order. I started to leave but I didn't get an apology. This Chick-Fil-A in Northpark Mall seems to have a lot of positive reviews from Yelp members who are confusing it with the larger, better, newer stand alone Chick-Fil-A on South Range Line Rd. It is a mall food court stall and doesn't have frequent themed events nor does it have a play place for children. It does have delicious chicken sandwiches and waffle fries you expect from Chick-Fil-A, however. The service is generally acceptable, but a far cry from the very enthusiastic and almost too subservient workers at the South Range Line Rd stand alone Chick-Fil-A. It is very clear that this location is owned/operated by different people. In the past they would deliver inside the mall, to mall store employees. read more

Yes, it's better than KFC. Or McDonalald's. But it's still fast food. I would put it about par food wise with Barto's or Chicken Mary's and "ambiance" would place it around Burger King. I will happily grab an order of chicken strips during lunch (juicy chicken breast strips, moderately seasoned unobtrusive breading, the honey mustard has a bit of a mustard kick to it) but I'm not giving it a five star review, which is what I think of as "Last Meal" sorta fare. I would recommend it if you have to eat fast food, and I wouldn't complain if I heard a group of people were going. Good value for food, almost unnervingly polite staff, tasty chicken products, a play place for the kiddies. It works. read more

Makes a total joke out of KFC. The food is great, for fast food chicken. The service is amazing, for any restaurant. And their themed events are great fun for kids. SO, yeah, it's fast food, but nobody else in the fast food chicken business even comes close. read more
